A coating method has a reciprocating rotating step. A wire bar is rotated at a first rotational speed for coating a film on a web. In a process of rotating the wire bar at the first rotational speed, a tangential direction of the wire bar at a connecting area between the wire bar and the web is opposite to a moving direction of the web, and then the wire bar is rotated to restore to an original position at a second rotational speed. Meanwhile, the tangential direction is changed and is same to the moving direction of the web. The second rotational speed is far faster than the first rotational speed. A coating device has a base, the wire bar disposed across the base, and a rotation adjusting module connected to the wire bar for driving the wire bar to rotate reciprocatingly.

The vacuum chamber is capable of maintaining a reduced-pressure state. The film travel mechanism is capable of causing a film to travel inside the vacuum chamber. The lithium source is capable of making lithium melt inside the vacuum chamber. The first roller is disposed between a deposition surface of the film and the lithium source. The first roller has a transfer pattern that receives the molten lithium from the lithium source. The first roller transfers a pattern of a lithium layer corresponding to the transfer pattern to the deposition surface while being rotated.

A device for processing a strip guided along a running direction may include a roller holder disposed on a base frame so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis oriented substantially parallel to a strip running surface. A first processing roller may be disposed on the roller holder in the running direction and at a distance from the pivot axis perpendicular to the running direction and offset from the pivot axis such that by pivoting the roller holder, the first processing roller is moved toward the strip and the processing roller is moved away from the strip. A first counter-processing roller may be disposed transversely to the running direction at a further distance from the pivot axis than the first processing roller such that the first processing and counter-processing rollers interact to guide the strip if the first processing roller is moved toward the strip.

The present disclosure relates to a coating bar and a method for manufacturing a separator using the same.
The coating bar according to the present disclosure may form a coating layer having an area with different thicknesses by one coating.
Additionally, the method for manufacturing a separator according to the present disclosure includes forming a porous coating layer using a predetermined coating bar, to manufacture a separator including the porous coating layer having an area with different thicknesses. In particular, the present disclosure manufactures the separator having a larger thickness at the two ends than at the center, thereby avoiding a lack of adhesive strength at the two ends in a transverse direction in the adhesion between the separator and the electrode, and exhibiting uniform adhesive strength over the whole interface between the separator and the electrode.
Method and device for metering a coating liquid in a processing machine
A method is provided for metering a coating liquid in a processing machine having a metering device including at least one applicator roller and one counter-pressure cylinder that forms a coating nip and that guides the printing substrate, the metering device being operatively connected to a circulation system for circulating the coating liquid including a supply line, a return line, a reservoir and a conveying pump. The method includes the steps of: pre-selecting, on the main regulation device, a first target temperature value for the coating liquid in a first area defined by the circulation system downstream of the temperature-regulation unit and by the coating nip; conveying the coating liquid using the conveying pump in a direction of the coating nip; detecting a first actual temperature value of the coating liquid at the temperature-regulation unit using a first sensor; detecting a second actual temperature value of the coating liquid in the first area using a second sensor; transmitting at least one signal to the main regulation device for each of the first and second temperature values detected; comparing the second actual temperature value to the first target temperature value using the main regulation device; and sending at least one control signal from the main regulation device as a function of the first detected actual temperature value.
