GLUE DAM SEAL ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a glue dam seal assembly for a glue application installation of a corrugated board manufacturing device. The glue dam seal assembly comprises a support installation and a first glue dam sealing element for tight disposal on a first roller, which sealing element is disposed on the support installation.
PAPER, LABELS MADE THEREFROM AND METHODS OF MAKING PAPER AND LABELS
Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.
Apparatus For Producing Electrode And Electrode Roll
An electrode roll including a bobbin having a variable ring positioned to correspond to a position of a non-coated portion.
FILM PRODUCTION APPARATUS, FILM ROLL PRODUCTION APPARATUS, FILM PRODUCTION METHOD, AND FILM ROLL PRODUCTION METHOD
An embodiment of the present invention prevents a defect from occurring in a joint portion, in a case where a film is produced by processing a film original sheet including the joint portion. A coating device carries out processing in different manners, respectively, for a joint portion of a first porous film original sheet and a second porous film original sheet and for portions other than the joint portion.
Coating bar and method for manufacturing separator using the same
The present disclosure relates to a coating bar and a method for manufacturing a separator using the same. The coating bar according to the present disclosure may form a coating layer having an area with different thicknesses by one coating. Additionally, the method for manufacturing a separator according to the present disclosure includes forming a porous coating layer using a predetermined coating bar, to manufacture a separator including the porous coating layer having an area with different thicknesses. In particular, the present disclosure manufactures the separator having a larger thickness at the two ends than at the center, thereby avoiding a lack of adhesive strength at the two ends in a transverse direction in the adhesion between the separator and the electrode, and exhibiting uniform adhesive strength over the whole interface between the separator and the electrode.
METHOD FOR COATING A SURFACE OF A METAL STRIP AND A METAL STRIP-COATING DEVICE
A method for coating a surface of a substrate may involve coating the surface of the substrate with a wet coating by way of a coating station, conveying the substrate by way of a conveying device, and detecting the surface coated with the wet coating by producing a thermal image of a detection region that comprises part of the surface. The thermal image may be recorded in a spectral range that includes a wavelength between 1 micrometer and 20 micrometers. Further, the detection region may be located directly downstream of the coating station, or the detection region may at least partially include the coating station.
PLANT AND METHOD FOR MAKING DECORATIONS ON PREFABRICATED WATERPROOFING BITUMEN-MIX MEMBRANES
Plant for making decorations on a bituminous membrane including a feed device configured to feed the bituminous membrane at a determinate speed in a direction, and at least two depositing apparatuses disposed one in series with the other in the direction and configured to deposit solid particles on the bituminous membrane according to respective patterns in order to obtain respective decorations on the bituminous membrane. The depositing apparatuses each includes a transfer member configured to receive, support and transfer the solid particles from a respective feed device, to the surface to be enhanced of the bituminous membrane.
SLOT DIE BOUNDARY LAYER REMOVAL TECHNIQUES
This document discusses apparatus and methods for removing boundary air of a web that can interfere with slot die coating of a surface of the web. In an example, an apparatus for removing boundary air that can interfere with slot die coating a web can include a blade bar configured to attach adjacent an up-web side of a slot die vacuum box. The blade bar can include a channel configured to extend across a width of web, the channel including two sidewalls each having a surface configured to allow the web to pass between the surface and a machine roller with a consistent gap, a distribution chamber pneumatically coupled to the channel, and a vacuum connector configured to allow a source of vacuum to couple with the blade bar and apply vacuum to the vacuum distribution chamber.
Assembly for producing an endless corrugated cardboard web laminated on at least one side
The invention relates to an assembly for producing an endless corrugated cardboard web laminated on at least one side, the assembly comprising a first corrugating roller and a second corrugating roller for producing a corrugated web provided with a corrugation as well as a glue application assembly. The glue application assembly comprises a glue container for receiving glue, a glue application roller for applying the glue disposed in the glue container to tips of the corrugation of the corrugated web, and at least one glue wave inhibiting assembly arranged in the glue container for inhibiting the formation of glue waves of the glue disposed in the glue container. The assembly for producing an endless corrugated cardboard web laminated on at least one side further has a pressure assembly for pressing a cover layer against the tips, provided with glue, of the corrugated web.
