REAL-TIME LASER MEASUREMENT AND MARKING APPARATUS
A real-time measurement and marking apparatus is provided. The disclosure providing a portable marking device comprising: a housing including a main housing structure and a can cover, the main housing structure having a front open end, a rear nozzle end, a top surface, a bottom surface, and a pair of opposing side walls, wherein at least one of the side walls defines an aperture, the can cover having a rear open end, a front closed end, the can cover extending at the rear open end to selectively engage with the aperture defined by at least one of the side walls releasably securing a spray can within the housing; a nozzle member positioned at the rear nozzle end of the of the main housing structure; an optical measuring apparatus for real-time measuring of a distance between a point of focus and the portable marking device activated by one or more buttons.
Syringe with piston assembly
A syringe assembly contains a fluid material, preferably two reactive fluid materials. The syringe assembly includes a syringe body having at least one barrel and a piston assembly movable within the barrel. An activatable plunger is in contact with the piston assembly effects dispensing movement of the piston assembly. The piston assembly includes an outer piston in sealed engagement with the barrel and an inner piston in sealed engagement with the outer piston. The inner piston is movable within the outer piston with and against the bias of a spring to maintain the inner piston in contact with the reactive material in the barrel upon thermal expansion and contraction of the reactive material.
Sealant discharging apparatus
A sealant discharging apparatus includes a cartridge, a nozzle member, and a cartridge receiver. The cartridge includes a projection member at a tip end and stores sealant therein. The projection member has a thread groove internally. The nozzle member includes a terminal end insertable in the projection member. The cartridge receiver includes a first tapered member in which the projection member is insertable. The first tapered member has a gradually decreasing inner diameter in a tip end direction in which the projection member is insertable.
Extrusion device and method for filling a groove with a filling compound
An extrusion device and method for filling a groove with a filling compound. The extrusion device includes an extrusion head which is designed or configured to spring in and out in an extrusion direction of the extrusion device in a manner that is spring-resilient in the extrusion direction.
SURFACE REPAIR TOOL
A surface repair tool for repairing defects in surfaces includes a handle with an applicator blade extending from one end of the handle and a sanding device extending from the opposite end of the handle. The handle includes a receptacle into which is removably received a container of repair compound. The applicator blade includes an application surface and a flow passage that has an inlet and an orifice formed through the application surface. Squeezing the container causes repair compound in the container to flow through the flow passage of the applicator blade and out of the orifice where it is dispensed onto the applicator surface to be spread on a surface needing repair. Once the repair compound dries, the sanding device is used to sand the repair compound to a desire finish.
Replaceable caulking tip
Provided is a replaceable tip for communicating caulking from a reservoir of caulking. The reservoir is defined by a body having an opening and an external surface. The replaceable tip comprises: a) a flange operable to abut the external surface of the body; b) a conduit have a first portion and a second portion, the conduit extending through the flange and operable to enter the reservoir of caulking and operable to communicate caulking from inside the reservoir of caulking to outside the reservoir of caulking; and c) reversible sealing means for reversibly sealing the flange with the external surface of the body. When the reversible sealing means reversibly seals the flange with the external surface of the body, i) the flange prevents the first portion of the conduit from entering the reservoir; and ii) the second portion of the conduit is within the reservoir and aligns the conduit with the opening in the body thereby affecting communication with the reservoir.
Reusable applicators and related methods
An applicator for delivering a glutinous substance comprises a first body portion, including an end-effector interface, extending from a base portion, a side cover to be removably coupled to the base portion, and a first cavity. A second body portion, having a second cavity intersecting the first cavity, extends from the base portion and is non-parallel to the first body portion. A tip portion, to be removably coupled to the second body portion, comprises a nozzle portion, a third cavity, communicatively coupled with the second cavity, an inner sleeve, having a splined outer surface, and an actuator interface, extending from the second body portion opposite the tip portion. The tip portion and the inner sleeve are interlocked when the inner sleeve is received inside the third cavity of the tip portion, such that the inner sleeve is prevented from rotating with respect to the tip portion.
Adapters for connecting a separated-outlet fluid cartridge to a single-inlet mixer, and related methods
An adapter for connecting a separated-outlet fluid cartridge to a single-inlet static mixer includes a lock mechanism and a lock release mechanism. The adapter includes a connection portion that engages the mixer. The lock mechanism has at least one snap arm that lockingly engages the cartridge in a snap fit manner so as to secure the adapter to the cartridge in fluid communication. When in the locked position, separate fluids are evacuated from the cartridge into the mixer where they are mixed prior to dispensing. The lock release mechanism quickly and easily unlocks the at least one snap arm from the cartridge for allowing a user to separate the adapter from the cartridge. The adapter sealing engages with both the mixer and the cartridge so that fluid flowing from the cartridge to the mixer does not leak.
Material dispense tip
A material dispense tip includes an elongated hole in an elongated neck that extends from an input end of the neck to an output end of the neck. The hole at the output end of the neck has a first diameter. The output end of the neck is positioned against a die surface. A punch is inserted into the hole at the input end of the neck. An external force is applied to the neck to cause the output end of the neck to be deformed under compression by the die surface, to reduce the diameter of the hole at the output end of the neck from the first diameter to a second diameter that is less than the first diameter.
