COATING DEVICE
A coating device provided for connection to a discharge pipe of a coating container, includes a guide base and a cover. The cover is pivoted to the connecting end of the guide base, so that the cover can cover the guide section of the guide base to close the coating device, and can also be pivoted with respect to the guide base to open the coating device, which makes it convenient for the user to take out the residue of coating material from the guide space, so that the coating device can be used repeatedly. Furthermore, the coating material is guided by the guide ribs and the cover ribs to flow evenly to each of the discharge holes, which ensures even distribution of the coating material from the coating device.
APPLICATORS FOR DELIVERING GLUTINOUS SUBSTANCE TO WORKPIECE FROM END-EFFECTOR AND ASSOCIATED APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
An applicator (102) for delivering a glutinous substance (168) to a workpiece (170) from an end-effector (101) is disclosed. The applicator (102) comprises a body (110) and a plunger (186). The plunger (186) comprises a gate (118), movable within an outlet portion (182) of a first channel (115) of the body (110) between, inclusively, an open position, allowing the glutinous substance (168) to flow from an inlet (116) of the first channel (115) to an outlet (117) of the first channel (115) and a closed position, preventing the glutinous substance (168) from flowing from the inlet (116) of the first channel (115) to the outlet (117) of the first channel (115). The applicator (102) further comprises an actuator (131), selectively operable to move the plunger (186) such that the gate (118) moves between, inclusively, the open position and the closed position.
Discharging device
A dispensing apparatus includes a storage container having an outlet flange with a component outlet which is at least partly surrounded by an inlet flange. The inlet flange is configured to adopt a closed position and a dispensing position with respect to the outlet flange. A change from the closed position into the dispensing position is carried out by a rotation of the inlet flange with respect to the outlet flange. The component outlet is arranged at a cylindrical jacket surface of the outlet flange. The first component outlet is closed by the inlet flange in the closed position of the inlet flange. In the dispensing position, a connection is established by a crossover passage between the first component outlet and a dispensing opening.
Light touch sealant applicator device
The present invention provides a device for applying a fluid sealant with a light touch, the device comprising a wand with a fluid sealant supply, either as part of the wand or as a separate supply tube, attached to the top of an applicator head via a universal joint, wherein the applicator head has a chamber on its underside which is sufficiently large to enable a constant supply of a fluid sealant to a substrate that is to be sealed, and the applicator head has a chamber edge disposed around its lower periphery adapted to strike the sealant flat. In addition, the present invention provides methods of using the devices to form a seal, e.g. a weather-resistive barrier on a sheathed building structure, by applying a flexible and compressible foam to gaps in the structure. The foam may comprise one or more aqueous polymer having a glass transition temperature of less than 25 C.
Coupler for decorating bag
A coupler removably connectable to a decorating bag. The coupler includes an inner coupler configured to be inserted into the decorating bag, an outer coupler configured to removably secure to the inner coupler with the decorating bag disposed between the inner coupler and the outer coupler and a retainer configured to receive a decorating tip and removably secure to the outer coupler in order to lock the decorating tip into position.
CARTRIDGE THAT PREVENTS NOZZLE FROM SLIPPING OFF
A cartridge in which a pipe can be retained without increasing the number of components or suppressing pushing-out of a content. A length L over which the outer peripheral surface of a pipe and the inner peripheral surface of a through hole contact each other when the pipe is press-fitted into the through hole, an average outside diameter R of the pipe in the range of the length L over which the pipe is press-fitted into the through hole, and an average inside diameter N of the through hole in the range of the length L are determined to meet: LR(1N/R)3.3W and 0.01<(1N/R)<0.1, wherein the maximum pushing load of the piston is defined as W and a grasping force to hold the pipe as the pipe is press-fitted into the through hole is defined as 1N/R.
Nozzle for application of a seam sealer
A nozzle is configured to receive and mate with a dispensing tube of a cartridge of sealer. The nozzle includes: a central body having a first end and a second end, with the central body further defining an interior volume; and a guide member extending from the central body of the nozzle. The first end of the central body is open and is configured to receive the dispensing tube. The second end of the central body defines a slit via which the sealer is dispensed. In use, a leading portion of the guide member extends beyond the slit and engages an edge of a panel to which the sealer is applied. The nozzle may also include a series of raised protrusions on an interior wall surface of the central body, which engage and press into the dispensing tube, creating an interference fit that assists in holding the nozzle in place.
Material dispense tips
A dispense tip for low-volume dispensing is formed according to a process. The process comprises forming a hole through a length of a neck formed of a body of material; forming an inlet hole at a distal end of the hole, the inlet hole having a first inner diameter; forming an outlet hole at a distal end of the inlet hole, the outlet hole having a second inner diameter less than the first inner diameter, a first inner taper transitioning the inlet hole from the first inner diameter to the second inner diameter; forming an outer taper having a width that decreases along a longitudinal axis of the length of the hole in a direction of a distalmost end of the outlet hole; and reducing a width of an opening at the distalmost end of the outlet hole to a third inner diameter that is less than the second inner diameter.
MIXER FOR MIXING AT LEAST TWO MATERIALS AND MIXING AND DISPENSING ASSEMBLY
A mixer includes a mixer housing, a mixing element, an alignment element and a connection element. The mixing element has a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a longitudinal axis extending therebetween, first and second entry openings arranged at the first end and an outlet opening arranged at the second end, the mixing element further being arranged at least partly within the mixer housing. The alignment element aligns the mixer at a predetermined angle relative to the cartridge. The connection element connects the mixer to a cartridge by a form-fitting connection, and the connection element is a click connection or a snap lock connection.
NOZZLE FOR A SEALER GUN AND A METHOD OF APPLYING SEALER USING THE SAME
A nozzle for a sealer gun to apply a sealer for sealing a device to a panel of a vehicle includes a housing into which an end portion of the sealer gun is inserted and which has a hollow therein, and a core disposed to be spaced by an interval from an inner surface of the housing and having a lower portion exposed downward from the housing, wherein, in a state in which a lower end of the housing is in close contact with a panel, a sealer supplied from the sealer gun to the housing is applied to a surface of the panel between the housing and the core.
