A paste application device stores two starting components for mixing the starting components to form a paste and for application of the formed paste. The device comprises a two-component cartridge comprising two internal spaces, two feed plungers shiftable in the internal spaces and bordering the internal spaces on a first side of the two-component cartridge, and at least two dispensing openings by means of which the internal spaces are open on a second side of the two-component cartridge that is opposite from the first side. The device further comprises a hollow cylinder that is made of a plastic material and has one front face that is open and one front face that is partially closed, in which is situated an axially mobile plunger that has at least two pestles attached to it, wherein the at least two pestles are oriented in the direction of the open front face, wherein the open front face of the hollow cylinder is arranged to axially touch against the first side of the two-component cartridge, and a connector for a compressed gas cartridge extends through an opening in the pressure vessel wherein a flap valve can be used to regulate the volume flow of the starting components through the dispensing openings, and whereby the flap valve is operable by means of a rod assembly of the paste application device, whereby the rod assembly is supported with a clearance of at least 0.3 mm in at least one direction that is perpendicular to the main direction.

Dispensing module

The invention relates to a dispensing module for two liquid products, comprising: a first chamber (20) having a first wall, said first chamber having a first opening; a first piston (61) which can be displaced while resting on the wall of the first chamber; a second piston (64) which can be displaced while resting on a wall of the second chamber, and coupling means (62) for coupling both pistons while the product is being dispensed are provided. According to the invention, in order to prevent functional dysfunctions in the event of a distortion of the shape of container and to freely select the shape of the container, said dispensing module comprises a second chamber, the wall of which can be displaced while resting on the second piston, said second chamber comprising a second opening. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the distortion of the container no longer leads to functional dysfunctions of the dispensing module. Also, the outer shape of the container can be freely selected.

A multicomponent cartridge which is designed for single use includes two separate supply chambers arranged coaxially of each other and two pistons. The two pistons are movable via a plunger to simultaneously discharge two components. A guide element guides the two pistons in the respective supply chambers and contains a discharge opening for discharging the first component. The guide element is movable relative to a housing via a movement element in order to open the discharge opening.

A dispensing apparatus includes two cylindrical sleeves, two flexible film pack bags disposed within the sleeves, the two film pack bags having an integrally formed rigid face plate bonded therewith, the face plate having a discharge nosepiece integrally formed therewith, the discharge nosepiece having a partition internally configured to maintain separate flow streams from the film pack bags. Two shuttles are slidingly disposed in the sleeves. Push rods are disposed in operable communication with the shuttles. At least one piston is disposed in operable communication with the push rods, the piston configured to drive the push rods. A holder is disposed proximate a front end of the sleeves, the holder configured to restrain the face plate during dispensing of a flowable material. A mixer is configured to be in fluid communication with flow streams from the film pack bags. A material applicator is disposed in fluid communication with the mixer.

In one aspect, the invention can be a dispenser (400) comprising: a housing (410) having a first reservoir chamber (430) containing a first oral care material (431) and a second reservoir chamber (440) containing a second different oral care material (441); a mixing chamber (450) disposed in the housing, a mixing screw (470) disposed within the mixing chamber and having an actuator (471) for rotating the mixing screw; a first delivery port (434) for introducing the first oral care material into the mixing chamber and a second delivery port (444) for introducing the second oral care material into the mixing chamber; a dispensing nozzle (460) for dispensing a mixture of the first and second oral care materials; and wherein rotation of the mixing screw draws the first and second oral care materials into the mixing chamber and expels the mixture of the first and second oral care materials from the nozzle.

The apparatus includes a dispensing pen having a housing which includes a source of electricity, an electric motor, a gear assembly and a moving shaft with a multiplicity of teeth to cause an advancing shaft to move forwardly toward the front of the pen and interact with a piston to push a plunger at the rear of the cartridge so that it will dispense compounds from the cartridge. The cartridge can be a single chamber cartridge or a dual chamber cartridge or a dual chamber cartridge separated by a dividing wall. There can be any numerous compounds including teeth whitening compounds, nail polish, cosmetics, etc.

A dispenser actuator assembly (100) has base member (102) and an actuator arm (104) that is configured to crush a glass ampoule assembly (10). The glass ampoule assembly (10) has a rupturable glass ampoule (12) containing a flowable material (M). The glass ampoule (12) is contained within an outer container (14), the outer container (14) having a first open end (22) and a second closed end (24). The glass ampoule assembly (10) has an applicator (16) positioned in the first open end (22). The dispenser actuator assembly (100) has the base member (102) that is configured to mount on the outer container (14). The actuator arm (104) is pivotally connected to the base member (102). The actuator arm (104) is pivotable from a first position to a second position that is configured to engage the outer container (14) to crush the glass ampoule (12) wherein the flowable material (M) is dispensed from the glass ampoule assembly (10).
