Flexible conductive film and its preparation method
A flexible conductive film is comprised of a flexible base and a conductive layer coated on it. The flexible base uses Surlyn resin as the matrix. It uses silver nanowire as the conductive layer.
PROCESS FOR COATING THE SURFACE OF WORKPIECES
In a process for coating the surface of workpieces, a coating agent is applied to the workpiece and then cured in an electromagnetic alternating field. In order to enable a high-quality surface coating even with standard coating agents, in particular with liquid coatings, despite the short duration of the process, first the volatile components of the coating agent are expelled in an electromagnetic alternating field having a first frequency spectrum. For the purpose of crosslinking and/or curing the remaining coating agent components, the surface of the workpiece is then heated in an electromagnetic alternating field having a second frequency spectrum, the frequency range of which is below the first frequency spectrum.
APPLICATOR MACHINE
An applicator machine and a process for heating and coating a section of pipeline. The applicator machine includes a frame configured to rotate about a section of pipeline to be heated and coated, rotating means operable to rotate the frame, and coating material applicators induction coils and radiant heaters mounted on the frame and rotatable therewith. The induction coil is configured to heat a section of pipeline adjacent to the induction coil to a coating material application temperature. The radiant heaters are configured to heat factory-applied coatings. Each coating material applicator sprays coating material through an aperture in a respective induction coil. The applicator includes an enclosure configured to surround a section of pipeline and provision for evacuating and collecting waste coating material. The coating material applicator may be configured to spray powder coating material, such as fusion bonded epoxy powder material and/or chemically modified polypropylene powder material.

MULTILAYER COATING FILM FORMATION METHOD
The multilayer coating film formation method for forming a multilayer coating film on a substrate comprises the steps of: applying an undercoat paint composition (X) comprising an antioxidant (a1) to a substrate to form at least one layer of an uncured first coating film; applying a topcoat paint composition (Y) containing a carboxy-containing polymer (b1) and an epoxy-containing acrylic resin (b2) to the first coating film to form an uncured second coating film; and simultaneously heating the uncured first coating film and the uncured second coating film to cure the films.
Vitreous Coating Application by Induction Heating and Integration with Induction Kinetic Weld Joining
Induction heating facilitated coating systems and processes for pipes overcome corrosion and erosion of the pipes at extreme temperatures and pressures in applications including oil and gas downhole tubulars and pipelines as well as processing facilities. Being based on vitreous fused inorganic compounds, the present invention achieves very high corrosion resistance at remarkably modest cost. Attractive economics and immunity to chlorides and moisture permeation at extreme concentrations and temperatures also make it well suited to desalination plants and potable water piping applications. Due to its extreme temperature resistance, it also is very well suited for geothermal wells. Additionally, due to its characteristic smooth durable surface, the present invention is ideally suited for applications involving the opposite of corrosion, namely scaling problems, such as fouling in sewage systems and scale buildup in heavy oil wells.
Surface Treatment Agent, Metal Material Having Surface-Treated Coating Film and Method for Producing Same
The present invention is aimed at providing: a surface treatment agent that is capable of forming a surface-treated coating film having excellent antifouling properties; a metal material that includes a surface-treated coating film using the surface treatment agent; and a method of producing the metal material. The present invention provides a surface treatment agent containing: a silicone resin (A); a compound (B) containing a metal element selected from titanium, platinum, rhodium and palladium; and an aromatic hydrocarbon-based solvent (C). In the surface treatment agent, (I) a content of the silicone resin (A) is in a range of 90% by mass to 99.9% by mass with respect to a total solid mass of the silicone resin (A) and the compound (B), and (II) a ratio (B.sub.M/A.sub.M) of a mass (B.sub.M) of the compound (B) to a mass (A.sub.M) of the silicone resin (A) is in a range of 0.001 to 0.111.
CONTROLLABLY PROVIDING A COATING OF NANOPARTICLES ON A CONVEYED SUBSTRATE
A spray system and method are described for controllably applying a coating of nanoparticles to a substrate. In particular, spray system arrangements are described that are configured to meet the goals of high quality nanoparticle deposition on a substrate with minimal waste of costly nanoparticle material. More particularly, a nanoparticle spray system is described herein that includes: a spray nozzle configured to emit a nanoparticle-laden spray flow; a conveyed substrate configured to be conveyed at a velocity; and a controller configured to operate in a feedback loop such that nanoparticles of the nanoparticle-laden spray flow are controllably deposited on a surface of the conveyed substrate.
INDUCTION HEATING AND COOKING
A cooktop heating element includes a helix shaped induction coil. The helix shaped induction coil includes a first array of parallel current-carrying wires and a second array of return current carrying wires. A magnetic shielding sheet is placed between the first array of parallel current-carrying wires and the second array of return current carrying wires. The magnetic shield sheet magnetically shields the first array of parallel current-carrying wires from the second array of return current carrying wires.
