At least one signal line (18) is embedded in the scraper lip (16) in such a manner that, upon reaching the wear limit (G), at least one section of the signal line (18) is exposed.

A device for cleaning and oiling grill grates including a roller fashioned from an absorbent material rotatably mounted to a head plate, which in turn is mounted to a handle. A barbeque grill scraper that uses a scraping edge with a tooth formed of a wearable material to remove char and debris from the grill grates. The tooth fits between adjoining grill grates to guide the scraping edge and create a plurality of indents in the scraping edge that match the top profile of the grill grates. The grates are thus thoroughly cleaned without the health risks associated with wire brush cleaners. Another embodiment further utilizes a protruding cleaning tool to access and clean the lower sides and bottom of the grill grates.

The present invention relates to the technical field of grease fitting cleaning tools, in particular to a cleaning tool for a grease fitting. The cleaning tool for a grease fitting provided by the present invention is structurally characterized by including a hand-held portion and a cleaning portion, where the hand-held portion and the cleaning portion are integrally formed. A worker holds the hand-held portion and cleans the grease fitting through the cleaning portion. The tool has the advantages of a simple structure, a low cost, and convenient wide-range promotion and use.

A metal hand tool including a handle attached to a blade piece and method of construction. The blade piece includes a blade opposite an elongated tang. The handle is made up of two, welded, symmetrical handle halves, each handle half having an opening for receiving a hang hole piece and a notched distal end for forming a handle opening to receive the blade piece elongated tang. In an embodiment, the handle includes a curved distal end accommodating a curved welded connection between the blade piece and the handle. The hand tool further includes a hang hole piece configured for placement through the hang hole openings in the handle and for welded connection to the handle. In an embodiment, the elongated tang includes a hang hole opening through which the hang hole extends. Some embodiments further include one or more tang guide pieces welded to the interior of the handle.

Methods of using an integrated scraper-sponge having a scraper layer with and edge and fixed between the first and second sponge and/or abrasive layers. The scraper sponge is wetted and applied to a surface that is contaminated. The scraper-sponge is moved about the contaminated surface or dabbed onto the surface. The wet sponge portion loosens residue while the scraper edge scrapes residue from the surface as the scraper is moved about the contaminated surface.
