HAND TOOL AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION
A metal hand tool including a handle attached to a blade piece and method of construction. The blade piece includes a blade opposite an elongated tang. The handle is made up of two, welded, symmetrical handle halves, each handle half having an opening for receiving a hang hole piece and a notched distal end for forming a handle opening to receive the blade piece elongated tang. In an embodiment, the handle includes a curved distal end accommodating a curved welded connection between the blade piece and the handle. The hand tool further includes a hang hole piece configured for placement through the hang hole openings in the handle and for welded connection to the handle. In an embodiment, the elongated tang includes a hang hole opening through which the hang hole extends. Some embodiments further include one or more tang guide pieces welded to the interior of the handle.
VEHICLE OPTICAL DEVICE
A vehicle optical device comprises an optical module including a lens through which external light passes; a cover glass arranged on a front surface of the lens; a motor driving the cover glass; a cleaner for accommodating a portion of the cover glass; and a controller driving the motor to accommodate a portion of the cover glass, which is arranged on the front surface of the lens and contaminated, in the cleaner through rotation of the cover glass if the portion of the cover glass is contaminated. The vehicle optical device may acquire exact information by removing particles that disturb acquisition of external information.
Tank excavator
Devices, apparatus, systems, vehicles and methods for cleaning contaminated tanks without introducing free water or liquefier into the tanks. A mobile vehicle with left and right sets of tracks can support a gathering arm assembly, a bucket assembly, an eductor vacuum, and a pump/tank assembly that can be used to remove and break up waste debris from a contaminated tank.
Material Removal from Surfaces
Scrapers for removing adhered material from surfaces employ continuous and discontinuous material removal edges to remove different types of material. Continuous and sometimes discontinuous material removal edges are constructed and arranged to conform to the curvature of a surface from which material is to be removed, when a user forces the scraper against the surface. Some scrapers include multiple material removal edges designed to simultaneously contact the surface. The use of multiple points of contact combined with locations of handles provide stable designs that reduce hand and wrist strain.
Gas-assisted scraping tool
A gas-assisted scraping tool includes a housing having a blade support with a cavity that is connectable to a source of a pressurized gas; a blade attached to and extending forwardly of the blade support; and a diffuser attached to the blade support and spacing the blade from the cavity, the diffuser shaped to direct a stream of the pressurized gas from within the cavity lengthwise along the blade and distribute the pressurized gas transversely across a width of the blade, whereby material loosened by the blade is blown away from an end of the blade by the stream of the pressurized gas.
System and tool for cleaning a glass surface of an accelerator column
A cleaning tool for cleaning a glass surface of an accelerator column is disclosed. The cleaning tool includes a shaft including a first end and a second end; a foam body located at the first end of the shaft; and a mounting bracket coupled to the first end of the shaft, the mounting bracket receiving the foam body. An outer circumference of the foam body includes a textured cleaning surface for contacting the glass surface of the accelerator column.
MACHINE TOOL WIPER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MACHINE TOOL WIPER
Provided are a wiper for a machine tool and a method for manufacturing a wiper for a machine tool, which can simplify a manufacturing process. A wiper for a machine tool mountable on a machine tool includes: a wiper body fixable to the machine tool, and made of a first elastic material having hardness of 80 degrees or more; and a sliding part made of a second elastic material containing a particulate reinforcing material and having hardness in a range of 50 degrees or more and 90 degrees or less which is smaller than the hardness of the first elastic material, the sliding part being provided integrally with the wiper body, wherein the wiper body and the sliding part are integrally formed without an adhesive.
MARKING TRANSPORT CLEANING PAD
A cleaning pad can be attached onto an inner surface of a transport belt so the cleaning pad can move with the transport belt along hardware of a marking system, including support rollers and a marking platen to remove ink from the marking platen and support rollers of the rendering device as the transport belt cycles through its typical path within the rendering system.
Liquid knife, liquid knife cleaning apparatus and liquid knife assembly apparatus
A liquid knife cleaning apparatus and a liquid knife are provided. The liquid knife cleaning apparatus includes: a frame configured to be arranged on the liquid knife and be capable of reciprocating in an extending direction of the knife edge; a cleaning blade configured to extend into the knife edge of the liquid knife and be capable of reciprocating inside the knife edge under the driving of the frame to clean the knife edge, the cleaning blade being arranged on the frame; and a movable mechanism configured to control the frame to reciprocate on the liquid knife in the extending direction of the knife edge, the frame being connected to the movable mechanism.
SENSOR APPARATUS WITH LIQUID CONTAINER AND WIPER
A sensor apparatus comprising a portable sensor body. The sensor body includes a support with one or more sensing electrodes, and electric connections connecting to the electrodes. The apparatus further includes a storage container, designed to receive at least a part of the support that includes one or more of the electrodes, for storing the sensor body. The container comprises a deformable wiper. The wiper is shaped correspondingly with the support and electrodes thereof, to wipe liquid (and/or other materials contained therein) off the support responsive to inserting the latter in the container and, conversely, responsive to de-inserting the support from the container. Mutually corresponding parts of the sensor body and the container may form a fastener, so as to be able to create a non-permanent joint between the sensor body and the container responsive to the sensor body being fully inserted in the container.
