20240017297 · 2024-01-18 ·

A sports towel includes an integrated, semi-rigid squeegee tab along one edge of the towel. The squeegee tab is tapered along its outer edge, allowing for effective wiping of planar surfaces such as the visor on a sporting helmet. The towel is securely attached to the squeegee tab through a double stitch that extends through a folded-over edge of the towel and a towel-receiving slot on the top of the squeegee tab. An indicia-receiving slot on the top side of the squeegee tab provides an opportunity for product branding or logo placement. Additionally, the towel includes hook-and-loop material to allow for easy attachment to a player's uniform. The invention offers a convenient and efficient solution for athletes to keep their helmet visors clean and dry during gameplay.

Cleaning station for mobile robots

A station uses cleaning mechanisms to clean sensors of mobile robots. The mobile robots may use data from the sensors to navigate around an environment such as an inventory warehouse. A sensor of a mobile robot can become dirty over time as dust or other debris accumulates on the sensor. Since the mobile robots can navigate to a station for automatic sensor cleaning, a human does not need to manually clean the sensors. Multiple mobile robots may share one or more stations in the environment and coordinate a schedule to have their sensors cleaned. The stations may also charge a battery of a mobile robot simultaneously while cleaning the mobile robot's sensors.
