NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
Nozzle assemblies adapted to produce a laminar fluid flow and maintain the laminar fluid flow over a substantial distance facilitate cleaning of a confined space, such as a sewer vault, without personnel entry into the confined space, and include a housing having an inlet, an outlet, and an internal channel extending between the inlet and the outlet. The nozzle assembly can further include a flow straightener assembly within the internal channel. The flow straightener assembly can have a first section with a first plurality of tubes fluidly connected to the inlet, and a second section with a second plurality of tubes fluidly connected to the first plurality of tubes and the outlet. A quantity of the first plurality of tubes is different than a quantity of the second plurality of tubes.
Fluid control device and associated methods
Embodiments of the present invention are related to a fluid control device for cleaning elevated channels including a top, a bottom, a first side, a second side, and a pair of angled exterior upper surfaces. The top includes a top aperture structured to receive tubing therein and the first side and second side include a spout respectively. The fluid control device is structured to receive fluid into the device top and direct that fluid out the first side and second side at downward side angles.
Deep Cleaning Alignment Equipment
Systems and methods for cleaning a heat recovery steam generator system including tubes and fins associated therewith using deep cleaning alignment equipment are described. The deep cleaning alignment equipment primarily includes at least one wedge and at least one wand. The wedge may be an elongate wedge configured to maximize the surface area that contacts the tubes and fins, which in turn minimizes the amount of stress about any specific point of the tubes or the fins. Additionally, the wedge may be made of a soft, composite material, such as a high strength carbon fiber nylon. The composite material is softer than the material that makes the tubes and fins. As a result, when the wedge contacts the tubes and fins, the tubes and fins will not sustain damage. Instead, any damage that may occur would be to the wedge.
LANCE FOR CLEANING, DISINFECTING AND SANITISING ALL TYPES OF OBJECTS, INCORPORATING A STEAM GENERATOR, AND ASSOCIATED OPERATING METHODS
A cleaning lance for performing cleaning using both steam and the suction or blowing of air. The cleaning lance includes: a first fluidic circuit, referred to as the air-suction or air-blowing circuit, including an air connection end piece designed to be connected to a suction and/or blowing device, an air-suction or air-blowing nozzle, a duct connecting the air connection end piece to the air-suction or air-blowing nozzle; and a second fluidic circuit, referred to as the steam generating circuit, including a connection end piece for connection to a pressurized liquid supply, a steam ejection nozzle, a duct connecting the connection end piece to the steam ejection nozzle. The duct housing, from upstream to downstream, includes: a pressurized-liquid spray nozzle designed to spray the pressurized liquid in the form of droplets, configuration for generating droplets of steam from the droplets of spray, and a nozzle for atomizing the generated steam.
HOT WATER PRESSURE WASHER
A hot water pressure washer employs a high-pressure pump for generating a stream of high pressure fluid and a hydrodynamic heater operable for heating the fluid stream. The hydrodynamic heater includes an inlet port fluidly connectable to a fluid source and an outlet port fluidly connected to an inlet port of the high-pressure washer. An outlet port of the high-pressure washer is connectable to a handheld wand operable for discharging the fluid stream to atmosphere. A prime-mover provides rotational torque for driving the hydrodynamic heater and the high-pressure pump. An unloader valve is used to control distribution of the fluid stream discharged from the high-pressure pump. An exhaust gas recovery heat exchanger operates to transfer heat from the prime-mover exhaust gas to the fluid stream. A pre-heat tank is used to temporarily store a quantity of heated fluid for future use.
PRESSURE WASHER
A pressure washer has a connection for a source of liquid; a high pressure pump; a main line by way of which liquid via the high pressure pump is conveyable from the connection to a spray opening of the main line; and a supplemental pump for adding an additive to the liquid. The pressure washer is conceived in such a way that the additive by way of the supplemental pump is able to be fed to the main line upstream of the high pressure pump.
