MAINTAINING A SOLAR POWER MODULE
A solar power system includes a plurality of solar power cells mounted on a spherical frame; a hemispherical reservoir mounted to the spherical frame to enclose at least a portion of the spherical frame such that a gap is defined between the spherical frame and an interior surface of the reservoir, the reservoir configured to hold a fluid that includes a solar cell cleaning solution; and at least one actuator mounted to the spherical frame and operable to rotate a portion of the spherical frame that supports the plurality of solar power cells through the gap.
LAUNDRY-CARE APPLIANCE HAVING A RADIAL FAN
The present invention relates to a laundry-care appliance (100) having a washing tub (107) and a deodorizing module (109) for dispensing deodorizing substance into the washing tub (107), wherein the deodorizing module (109) is connected to the washing tub (107) and comprises a radial fan (115) for ventilating the washing tub (107), wherein the radial fan (115) is drivable in a first direction of rotation (121) and in a second direction of rotation (123). The deodorizing module (109) is configured to dispense deodorizing substance into the washing tub (107) in a first period of time, wherein the radial fan (115) is drivable in the first direction of rotation (121) in the first period of time in order to distribute the deodorizing substance in the washing tub (107). The radial fen (115) is drivable in the second direction of rotation (123) in a second period of time following the first period of time, in order to remove the deodorizing substance from the washing tub (107) in the second period of time.
Friction washer that cleans plastic for recycling
A method of cleaning plastic chips includes introducing a mixture of plastic chips and water to an in-feed of a housing. The mixture of plastic chips and water is impelled from the in-feed within the housing and agitated so that debris on the plastic chips is abraded by adjacent chips and agitators until substantially all debris has been removed from the plastic chips. Water and debris are discharged through a screen to a debris discharge. Cleaned plastic chips are discharged to a plastic chip discharge that is further from the in-feed than the debris discharge. Chip discharge takes place when the pressure of the plastic chips at the plastic chip discharge exceeds a threshold.
ROTATING DRUM FOR WORKPIECE CONVEYANCE AND WORKPIECE CLEANING DEVICE
A rotating drum of a rotating drum-type workpiece cleaning device is provided with feed fins that extend helically along the inner circumferential surface of the drum body. The feed fins are, for example, fins in which metal sheets have been folded. On both sides of the feed fins, the angle of the internal corner between the feed fin and the inner circumferential surface of the drum body is an obtuse angle, for example, about 120 degrees. It is possible to prevent or limit the trapping of conveyed workpiece in the internal corner and trapping between adjacent fin sections.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CLEANING A MACHINE FOR MAKING LIQUID AND/OR SEMI-LIQUID FOOD PRODUCTS FOR THE ICE CREAM, PASTRY OR CATERING TRADE
A method and a system for cleaning a machine for making liquid and/or semi-liquid food products for the ice cream, pastry or catering trade, wherein the machine is fed with a capsule containing a preparation for cleaning the machine, after which a cycle for cleaning the machine is started.
Short-term wash treatment of produce
A produce wash system is provided. The produce wash system includes a produce line including a short-term wash device and a rinse transition component followed by a wash device, a short-term wash treatment that is applied by the short-term wash device to a product, wherein the short-term wash treatment remains on the product for a pretreatment time that lasts until the short-term wash treatment is rinsed off, and a rinse solution applied by the rinse transition component that rinses the product after the product leaves the short-term wash device and before the product enters the wash device, and a wash treatment that is applied by the wash device to the product, wherein the wash treatment rinses any remaining short-term wash treatment from the product. The pretreatment time is set at or below a damage threshold time beyond which the short-term wash treatment damages the product beyond a damage threshold.
SHORT-TERM WASH TREATMENT OF PRODUCE
A produce wash system is provided. The produce wash system includes a produce line with a short-term wash device followed by a wash device, a short-term wash treatment that is applied by the short-term wash device to a product, wherein the short-term wash treatment remains on the product for a pretreatment time that lasts until the product reaches the wash device, and a wash treatment that is applied by the wash device to the product, wherein the wash treatment rinses the short-term wash treatment from the product defining the end of the pretreatment time. The pretreatment time is set at or below a damage threshold time beyond which the short-term wash treatment damages the product beyond a damage threshold.
SHORT-TERM WASH TREATMENT OF PRODUCE
A produce wash system is provided.
A produce wash system, method, and short-term wash treatment are provided. For example, the produce wash system includes a produce line including a short-term wash device followed by a wash device, a short-term wash treatment that is applied by the short-term wash device to a product, wherein the short-term wash treatment is applied using a spray device that creates micrometer sized droplets, and wherein the short-term wash treatment remains on the product for a pretreatment time that lasts until the product reaches the wash device, and a wash treatment that is applied by the wash device to the product, wherein the wash treatment rinses the short-term wash treatment from the product defining the end of the pretreatment time.
