Aggregate washing systems, methods, and apparatus
A method of washing aggregate material, the method comprising: receiving aggregate material in a tank; receiving water in said tank; by at least a rear wall of said tank, retaining said aggregate material and water in a rearward portion of said tank and preventing said water and aggregate material from overflowing said rear wall; agitating said aggregate material and water to form a slurry; advancing said slurry to a tank outlet in a forward portion of said tank; depositing said slurry through said tank outlet; receiving said slurry on a vibrating screen; allowing an undersize portion of said slurry to fall through said vibrating screen; pumping at least a fraction of said undersize portion to a hydrocyclone; by said hydrocyclone, separating said fraction of said undersize portion into an underflow fraction and an overflow fraction; receiving said underflow fraction on said vibrating screen; and passing product from said vibrating screen.
System and method for salt removal from solid media
A process for reducing the salinity of salt containing material (SCM) includes introducing the SCM into a wash system configured to sequentially wash the SCM with water having decreasing salinity levels across a plurality of mixing tanks arranged in series; introducing feed water into the wash system in a countercurrent flow relative to the SCM; discharging washed SCM from the wash system, the washed SCM having a lower salinity compared to the SCM that is initially introduced into the wash system; and discharging brine from the wash system, the brine being generated in a mixing tank that initially receives the SCM into the wash system.
AGGREGATE WASHING SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS
Aggregate washing systems are described including mechanisms for slurrying, washing and/or dewatering aggregate material.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR REMOVING SOIL FROM SURFACES
The present invention relates to an aqueous composition for removing soils from a surface to be cleaned, formed from water, a detergent mixture and a rinse aid, wherein the detergent mixture comprises a peroxidation catalyst and wherein the rinse aid comprises an oxygen source. Such a composition may provide a more effective cleaning behaviour. The present invention further relates to a method for removing soil from a surface to be cleaned comprising applying to the surface to be cleaned a composition according to the invention.
Cleaning device for crystalline silicon recycled from photovoltaic cells by wet purification
A cleaning device for crystalline silicon recycled from photovoltaic cells by wet purification includes at least two tanks, a vacuum pump and first cleaning mechanisms arranged between the tanks. The number of the first cleaning mechanisms is the same as that of the tanks. An upper end of the tank is provided with a cover plate, and a lower end of the tank is provided with a discharge port. The upper end of the tank is provided with a ventilation port. The first cleaning mechanism includes a drum. A lower end of the drum is connected with a lower hood, and an upper end of the drum is connected with an upper hood. A sealing surface is arranged respectively between the drum and the lower hood and between the drum and the upper hood. The device includes the tanks, the vacuum pump and the first cleaning mechanisms.
