APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PROCESSING OF GLASS CONTAINERS AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS CONTAINERS INCLUDING SUCH A PROCESSING
An apparatus and process for processing outer surfaces of glass containers (50) for use in pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic applications, said glass containers (50) having a cylindrical main body (52). The process comprises: providing (S1) a plurality of containers (50); separating individual containers from said plurality of containers (50); and sequentially conveying said individual containers (50) through a processing station (1; 61). In the processing station (1; 61), the individual containers (50) are rotated about a longitudinal axis thereof while outer surfaces of the cylindrical main bodies (52) are in contact with a scrubbing member (27; 30, 35), for reducing an adhesive surface behavior of the outer surfaces of the cylindrical main bodies (52) of the individual containers. In this manner the surface properties of glass containers may be enhanced significantly with a cost-efficient and simple processing to thereby prevent undesired stickiness behavior of the glass containers.
Cleaning device and methods for use
The present disclosure provides a device for cleaning a cylindrical container, such as a bucket. The device includes a drive shaft having a first end and a second end. The device also includes a frame including a horizontal component, a first vertical component, and a second vertical component, where each of the horizontal component, the first vertical component, and the second vertical component have a first surface and a second surface, and where the second end of the drive shaft is centrally coupled to the frame. Further, the device includes a cleaning component coupled to the second surface of each of the horizontal component, the first vertical component, and the second vertical component of the frame.
Ground Tank Cleaning Method and System
A large bore mobile vacuum system is used with special large bore vacuum adapters to enable a method and system for cleaning ground tanks used to store wastewater. The ground tank cleaning method and system may be safer and more efficient that conventional methods by enabling a human operator to physically remain outside of the ground tank, while preventing the contents of the ground tank from being exposed to the environment during the ground tank cleaning.
