Apparatus for the removal of sludge
Apparatus for removing sludge from an underwater deposit comprises a blade having a cutting edge that points forwards and a blade surface to the rear of the cutting edge that faces the interior of a housing. Nozzles are positioned and oriented to direct jets of water onto the blade surface to fluidize sludge that has been cut by the blade. The jets have a component of motion in the rearward direction relative to the blade surface, whereby the fluidized sludge is effectively contained within the housing and high collection rates can be achieved. The apparatus can be adapted for horizontal use over the surface of a sludge deposit or for movement in any direction through a bulk sludge deposit.
Stormwater vault servicing process
A stormwater vault and a process for servicing the stormwater vault speeds the process of cleaning a stormwater vault. The stormwater vault has a built in liquefaction system for liquefying settled debris in the vault which works together with a sloped or angled floor in the vault. The settled debris is flushed toward the inlet to a vacuum removal line inserted into the vault through an access opening for removing the settled debris from the vault.
System and Method for Cleaning Mud Tank
A system for cleaning a tank includes four tanks. The first tank stores a processed liquid. The second tank is in fluid communication with the first tank. The second tank includes a separator that separates particles from a dirty liquid to produce the processed liquid. The processed liquid is transferred from the second tank into the first tank. The third tank is in fluid communication with the second tank. The particles are transferred from the second tank to the third tank. The fourth tank stores a clean liquid. The clean liquid has fewer particles per unit volume than the processed liquid. The first tank, the second tank, the third tank, and the fourth tank are positioned on a mobile unit.
Multi-phase storage vessel cleaning and maintenance system and method of use
A complete fuel tank maintenance and cleaning system. This apparatus and method are capable of effectively cleaning an underground or aboveground storage tank by implementing a multi-stage filtration and removal system, and effectively removing contaminants from tank surfaces by using the product or alternative as a streamed cleaning agent within the storage tank.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR CLEANING VESSELS
A cleaning system includes a cleaning apparatus that is positionable in a cleaning environment and a cleaning processing device. The cleaning apparatus includes a sensor and a cleaning device. The sensor is configured to measure a depth of a target material on a surface of the vessel, and the cleaning device is configured to generate a cleaning force. The cleaning processing device is configured to receive a plurality of depth measurements of the target material on the surface, determine a cleaning protocol for the cleaning device on the surface based on the plurality of depth measurements, and control the cleaning apparatus to cause the cleaning device to apply the cleaning force to the surface pursuant to the cleaning protocol.
Cleaning method of oil tank and cleaning device of same
Crude oil is discharged from an oil tank. A nozzle is inserted into a support opening formed in advance on a roof of the oil tank. A cleaning liquid containing LCO is injected from the nozzle over the sludge accumulated inside the oil tank after the crude oil is discharged from the oil tank. The cleaning liquid in which the sludge is dissolved is discharged from the oil tank and is returned to the oil tank for recycle cleaning. Subsequently, the cleaning liquid in which the sludge is dissolved is discharged from the oil tank.
Portable suction nozzle and holster therefor
A portable suction nozzle for removing layers of fat, oil and grease (FOG), scum, sludge and the like from the surface or bottom of tanks used in water and sewage treatment plants, septic systems and the like. The device can be used by an operator working in such environments, as well as honey wagon operators, oil spill response teams and the like. The device can be held in place by a holster arrangement mounted to a tank to be cleaned.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PUMPING A PRODUCT BY SUCTION
According to the present invention: the product (10) is sucked into a first transit vessel (2) placed under vacuum and, simultaneously, a second transit vessel (3) is emptied by flushing under pressure; and then, said product is sucked into said second transit vessel (3) placed under vacuum and, simultaneously, said first transit vessel (2) is emptied by flushing under pressure.
Powder discharge system
A powder discharge system is installed in a circulating water tank for collecting powder generated when an exhaust gas is treated in an exhaust gas treatment apparatus. The powder discharge system includes at least one eductor provided in the circulating water tank. The eductor has a nozzle configured to throttle a flow of water supplied from a pump for pumping water in the circulating water tank, a suction port configured to suck water in the circulating water tank into the eductor by utilizing a reduction of pressure generated when the flow of water is throttled by the nozzle, and a discharge port configured to eject the water sucked from the suction port together with the water discharged from the nozzle toward a bottom of the circulating water tank.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF CLEANING SUBMERGED STRUCTURES
The present invention relates generally to a method to determine one or more properties in a water storage facility and/or a water treatment facility. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method to determine one or more chemical and/or physical properties in a water storage facility vessel and/or a water treatment facility vessel and then use such one or more chemical and/or physical properties to determine where, if need be, any sand or other sediment needs to be removed from any such water storage facility vessels and/or a water treatment facility vessels.
