Tool mounting stocker, tool storing device and tool/hand storing device, and tool replacing method by robot and control device thereof
In a tool storing device handling a tool mounting stocker in which a punch and a die of a press brake are mounted in one stocker with rear surfaces facing each other, each of the stockers is supported on both sides by endless belts having one driving shaft, and the endless belts are circulated so that each of the supported stockers does not protrude to a worker side, whereby a position of a path line of the appropriate one of the stockers can be freely positioned at a position of the path line PL of a tool holder on the press brake side. This enables rapid and easy tool replacement by a bending robot by storing not only the tool made of the punch and the die but also the hand for the robot together.
ADJUSTABLE MOULD
Devices for bending materials generally include a mold and a holder for supporting the mold. The mold generally includes two halves, each of which extend in a longitudinal direction, and which together enclose a mold cavity. The mold has first and second mold outer walls. The mold halves include parallel elements that are arranged alternatingly in the longitudinal direction. Adjusting slats movably positioned on the holder are configured to form a stop for the first or second mold outer wall.
MAGNETIC PRESS BRAKE TOOLING ENGAGEMENT SYSTEM
A tool or die component for a press brake apparatus includes a tool body having a coupling end adapted for coupling with a holder, and a working end adapted for operation on a workpiece. One or more magnetic elements can be adapted for selective engagement of the tool or die component within a punch press apparatus by magnetic coupling with the tool body, where the working end is configured for forming the workpiece by operation of the press brake apparatus. The magnetic coupling can be defined between the tool body and holder disposed adjacent the coupling end, or between the tool body and an adjacent tool or die component disposed along a side surface of the tool body, or both.
Machine and method for the semi-continuous cold-bending of sections with low ductility
The invention relates to a machine and method for the semi-continuous cold-bending of sections (3) with low ductility, of the type including a horizontal mount (1) and an interchangeable tool (4) against which the section (3) is bent. The machine includes a gantry support (10). The tool (4) is located in a zone delimited by the mount (1), vertical supports (5) for the tool (4), and a compression plate (7) actuated by vertical pressure cylinders. The tool (4) is positioned facing an actuation plane defined by a double set of hydraulic positioning (23) and push (20) cylinders. The bent sections (3) can be used for tents, skylights, facades, solar shading louvres, or three-rail frames for truck tarps, guaranteeing a uniform bend in all bent sections, without the section becoming pinned in the machine during bending.
AUTOMATED PRESS BRAKE OR BENDING MACHINE FOR BENDING METAL SHEET MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR BENDING METAL SHEET MATERIAL WITH SUCH AN AUTOMATED PRESS BRAKE OR BENDING MACHINE
An automated bending machine for bending metal sheet material, provided with driving means which are integrated in a table and/or ram depending on whether the driving means are designed for moving and arranging bottom tools and/or top tools respectively on the respective tool holder of the automated bending machine, whereby the driving means are such that several tool segments can be simultaneously controlled with the latter in order to make these multiple tool segments simultaneously undergo a movement, independently from one another, along the tool holder concerned.
Tool which is movable in an apparatus
The invention relates to a tool for shaping a material, in particular for bending plate material, comprising a mounting part configured to be in any case partially received in a receiving space of an apparatus, and a shaping part extending from the mounting part. The tool is provided with means for displacing the mounting part in longitudinal direction through the receiving space. The tool can thus be handled and positioned easily even when it is relatively heavy. The displacing means can comprise one or more displacing members protruding from the tool, for instance rollers or wheels. The invention also relates to a combination of an apparatus and such a tool, wherein the apparatus has a receiving space in which the mounting part of the tool is received. The receiving space here comprises a wall part on which the displacing means engage. Finally, the invention further relates to a method for positioning a tool as described above in an apparatus.
Tool for a Press Brake
This invention relates to a tool for press brake. More specifically, the invention relates to a modular and adjustable female die tool mountable to a stationary bed part of a press brake machine or similar. The modular die tool unit (10) includes a drive shaft (18) rotatable about a central longitudinal axis, a pair of first and second die jaws (14, 16) each located on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis and reciprocally movable towards and away from on another relative to such longitudinal axis, and a connecting formation at each of the longitudinal ends of the drive shaft (18) for: (i) coaxially connecting the drive shafts (18) of two or more adjacent modular die tool units (10) end-to-end; and/or (ii) connecting a drive means to the drive shaft (18) of one of the modular die tool units (10) thereby to drive such drive shaft (18) and the other drive shafts (18) connected thereto.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BENDING METAL INCLUDING TANDEM PRESS BRAKES
Two press brake machines each using a single, central hydraulic actuator are provided. The press brake machines are configured to operate separately or in tandem, depending upon a size of a sheet metal workpiece to be deformed. A locking device that may include an upper connecting block and a lower connecting block is provided on each of the at least two press brake machines to allow the machines to interlock when the machines are adjacent to one another and are operating in tandem. The upper connecting block may be L shaped to help provide the interlocking. Interlocking of the press brake machines during tandem operation helps prevent distortion that can occur in the upper and lower portions of the ram due to the press brake machine's use of a single, central hydraulic actuator.
