Riveting robot system
The present invention discloses a riveting robot, comprising: a robot part provided on a chassis, and detachably coupled with a riveting tool part through a hydraulically quick change disk; a visual position identification part provided on a side of the hydraulically quick change disk and secured on the sixth axis of the front end of the robot part; an automatic rivet feeding part provided on a mounting baseplate which is secured on a chassis through a two-stage vibration damping structure; a riveter tailing material collection part used for collecting tailing materials produced during riveting; a riveting quality judgment part used for collecting riveting data, and processing and generating a riveting curve to realize judgment of the riveting quality. A riveting robot system provided in the present invention can realize unmanned quick mounting of a pulling rivet at a specific riveting position; a vibration damping structure effectively isolates interference of riveting operation of a robot from a vibration source; radial and axial damping mechanisms can absorb axial and radial impact energies during the process of rivet pulling and mounting, ensuring that the operating accuracy of the riveting robot system and service life of the riveting robot mechanism.
RIVET DISPENSER RELOADING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Rivet dispenser reloading systems and methods of use thereof are provided. A non-limiting embodiment of a rivet dispenser reloading system comprises a receiving member defining a channel therein, and a first gate. The rivet receiving member comprises a first port and a second port that communicate with the channel. The first port is configured to receive rivets. The second port is configured to selectively engage with a rivet dispenser and introduce rivets to the rivet dispenser. The channel extends between the first port and the second port and is configured to transport rivets from the first port to the second port in a series arrangement and in a preselected orientation. The first gate is in communication with the second port and is selectively positionable between a first configuration inhibiting movement of rivets through the second port, and a second configuration enabling movement of rivets through the second port.

Feeder for swageable lockbolt collars and method of using same
A device is disclosed for supplying swageable collars from a magazine to a swaging tool such that the collars may be affixed to the shanks of lockbolts in a series of application steps. The feeder device can be mounted on the nose assembly of a swaging tool so that collar feeding and swaging can be accomplished in a single-handed operation. The feeder device responds to contact pressure against a work surface during a collar placement maneuver to release a collar from a presentation position for normal swaging. Releasing pressure on the workpiece allows a lower assembly of the feeder device to lift the next collar available from a magazine into the presentation position for application to the next lockbolt shank in a series of lockbolts to be finished.

SETTING HEAD, SHEET METAL PRESS OR SETTING DEVICE HAVING THIS SETTING HEAD, AND A METHOD FOR JOINING A JOINING ELEMENT WITH THE SETTING HEAD
A setting head for a joining device, such as a press or a setting device, which setting head comprises the following features: a punch which is movable in a longitudinal direction such that a joining element can be joined into a component by means of a punch face arranged at a working end of the punch; a hollow cylindrical receiving sleeve which has a through-passage and which, with the punch in the through-passage, is guided adjacent to the working end of the punch concentrically and axially movably thereon; and two mutually opposite holding arms arranged on the receiving sleeve outside the through-passage each provide at least one laterally inwardly projecting holding end, with the result that the at least two holding ends allow the joining element to be releasably positionable adjacent to a punch-remote outlet opening of the through-passage and by the axially movable working end of the punch.

Offset collar delivery for swage tools
Systems and methods are provided for fastening via a swage tool. One embodiment is a method for fastening via a swage tool. The method includes steps of selecting a hole located at a part, aligning an axis of a lockbolt collar with a center of the hole, placing the lockbolt collar flush against the part at a first end of the hole, and swaging the lockbolt collar onto a lockbolt that has been driven through the hole. This securely fastens the lockbolt collar to the lockbolt.
