HYDRO CHUCK
A hydro chuck includes a shank portion provided on one end side in a longitudinal direction and having, on a leading end side thereof, a cylindrical chuck portion for gripping a gripped object and an operational portion provided on the other end side in the longitudinal direction and disposed in continuation from the shank portion. The shank portion is fixable by being inserted to a tool mount included in a machine tool. The chuck portion includes a sleeve gripping the gripped object and a fluid pressure chamber formed on an outer circumference side of the sleeve and filled with fluid, the chuck portion being configured such that in association with a rise of a pressure of the fluid inside the fluid pressure chamber, the sleeve is reduced in its diameter to grip the gripped object. The operational portion includes a communication passage communicated to the fluid pressure chamber and a pressurizing piston disposed in the communication passage and adjusting the pressure of the fluid inside the fluid pressure chamber.
Expansion chuck
Expansion chuck (1) with a base body (9) and an expansion sleeve (10) which is surrounded by a receptacle (6) for a tool, wherein the expansion sleeve (10) inside the base body (9) and at the front end (3) of the receptacle (6) is connected pressure-tight to the base body (9), thus forming a pressure chamber (11) between the base body (9) and the expansion sleeve (10), characterized in that the expansion sleeve (10) at the front end (3) of the base body (9) extends radially outward to an connecting section (34), where it is connected to the base body (9) in a pressure-tight manner.
Mount flange
A mount flange for mounting a cutting blade on a spindle is provided. The cutting blade has a central engaging hole and a peripheral cutting edge. The mount flange includes a cylindrical boss portion having a front portion adapted to be inserted into the engaging hole of the cutting blade and a rear portion whose inner circumferential surface is adapted to be engaged with the spindle, and a flange portion projecting radially outward from the rear portion of the boss portion and having a front surface functioning as a mounting surface adapted to come into abutment against one side surface of the cutting blade. An annular space is formed in the mount flange so as to surround the spindle and open to the inner circumferential surface of the boss portion, thereby suppressing rearward warpage of the outer circumference of the flange portion due to the rotation of the spindle.
TOOL HOLDER FOR A CUTTING TOOL AND SLEEVE FOR A TOOL HOLDER
A tool holder for a cutting tool having a tool shank includes a receptacle which extends in an axial direction and a sleeve disposed in the receptacle. The sleeve includes a tool receptacle structured to at least partially receive the tool shank and a blocking element that projects radially into the tool receptacle. The axial positioning of the sleeve is adjustable with respect to the receptacle.
HYDRAULIC EXPANSION CHUCKS
The application relates to hydraulic expansion chucks (1) for accommodating a machining tool (0), comprising a main chuck body (2) with a substantially cylindrical cavity (21), and comprising a bushing (3) with a first portion (31) and a second portion (32), wherein the entire first portion (31) is located within the cavity (21) of the main chuck body (2), while the entire second portion (31) is located outside the cavity (21) of the main chuck body (2).
HYDRAULIC EXPANSION CHUCK
A hydraulic expansion chuck for accommodating a machining tool, comprising a main chuck body that has a first chuck portion for fastening to a chuck connection as well as a second chuck portion for clamping the machining tool, wherein the second chuck portion includes a substantially cylindrical cavity, and wherein at least a first chamber and a second chamber for holding a fluid are arranged within the second chuck portion in such a way as so peripherally surround at least some sections of the cavity, and said first chamber and second chamber are designed in such a way as to bulge and reduce a cross-section of the cavity in at least some sections when the pressurized fluid is admitted into the chambers, the first chamber and the second chamber being positioned at an angle to one another.
Components of a Machine Tool for Automated Collet Chuck Maintenance and Cleaning
The invention relates to a spindle (1) of a machine tool, in particular a machine tool for machining workpieces, as well as to other components of a machine tool for in particular automatedly maintaining and cleaning collet chucks. To this end, the spindle (1) has a connecting plate (100) for connecting the spindle (1) to a compressed air unit and a lubricant supply of a machine tool, a shank element (110) that can be displaced in the longitudinal direction (L) of the spindle (1) and is mounted in the connecting plate (100) of the spindle (1), as well as a spindle shank (121) that can be rotated in the circumferential direction (U) of the spindle (1), with a connecting piece (124) for connecting a connecting element (202) of a collet chuck (200) set up to receive a processing tool or a maintenance tool (300) to the spindle. The shank element (110) has a through hole (113) in the longitudinal direction (L) of the spindle (1), wherein the connecting plate (100) has a lubricant inlet (105) for connection to the lubricant supply, and at least one separate compressed air inlet (104) for connection to the compressed air unit. The connecting plate is set up to fluidically connect the through hole (113) of the shank element (110) to the at least one compressed air inlet (104) as well as the lubricant inlet (105).
