REVERSIBLE TOY WITH COUPLING APPENDAGES
A reversible toy includes a body having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The body may be reversible between a first configuration and a second configuration to alternatingly present the first and second surfaces as an outer body surface defining an exterior of the body. In this regard, the other of the first and second surfaces may alternatingly define a stored body surface defining an interior cavity within the body. The reversible toy may further include an appendage attached to the body at the first surface and comprising a coupling feature. The coupling feature may be configured to couple the reversible toy to an object at the appendage.
Play system and method for detecting toys
A play system, comprising: one or more toys comprising one or more electrically conductive parts, the one or more conductive parts defining a spatial pattern, the one or more toys having a physical configuration that is modifiable by a user, the spatial pattern being dependent on the physical configuration of the one or more toys, the one or more toys including a first toy; a magnetic field generating device arranged to generate a magnetic field for inducing an eddy current in one or more of the electrically conductive parts; a sensor configured to detect the induced eddy current; and a data processor; wherein the first toy and at least one of the magnetic field generating device and the sensor are movable relative to each other; wherein the sensor is configured to detect the induced eddy current during relative movement between the first toy and at least one of the magnetic field generating device and the sensor, and wherein the data processor is configured to: receive sensor data from the sensor, the sensor data being indicative of the eddy current detected during relative movement between the first toy and at least one of the magnetic field generating device and the sensor, detect the spatial pattern of the electrically conductive parts based at least in part on the received sensor data, determine the physical configuration of the one or more toys based on the detected spatial pattern.

Drawing device
A drawing device with a rotatable display screen is provided, having a housing having a cavity therein and a display screen sealingly rotatably coupled to the housing. An inner surface of the display screen forms an enclosure with the cavity. A powder is contained within the enclosure, the powder being removably adherent to the inner surface of the display screen. A first stylus controller is supported on an exterior of the housing. At least one positioning structure is supported in the enclosure and coupled to the first stylus controller to move a first stylus in a first set of directions that are parallel to a first axis. The first stylus removes the powder from the inner surface of the display screen through contact with the inner surface of the display screen.

Toy Vehicle Track System
A toy vehicle track system of the present application includes electrical connections between the track pieces that allow a central hub, referred to herein as a “portal piece,” to communicate with any track pieces included in the track system. In order to ensure that the portal piece can quickly and accurately identify track configurations that are built, the toy vehicle track system implements a communications protocol that supports communications between any two pieces of track. Based on these communications, the portal piece can determine an orientation, a track type, and a position of any track pieces attached, whether directly or indirectly, to the portal piece. The portal piece can then transmit this information to an electronic device executing an application associated with the track system to allow for digital play on a digital version of the track configuration (among other digital play modes).
Card, card reading system, and card set
Provided is a self-propelled reading device to read cards more reliably. Each of the cards includes a first end part configured to be adjacent to another card in a predetermined direction; a second end part configured to be on the opposite side of the first end part and adjacent to another card different from the first end part; and a surface printed with a pattern in which are coded coordinates indicating a positional relation relative to a reference line extended in the predetermined direction indicative of a region in which a self-propelled device is to travel. Each of the first and the second end parts has a positioning part regulating how the other card adjacent to the end part is to be placed. The positioning parts and the reference line have a predetermined positional relation therebetween.
Configurable devices
A smart block can include a plurality of displays and configurable magnet components to selectively attract or repel other smart blocks. The smart block can include proximity sensors to identify a surface of another smart block close to the smart block to determine if the smart blocks are correctly oriented based on an application or game associated with the operation of the smart blocks. A plurality of smart blocks can be configured to display a portion of a picture (as a puzzle), such that when the smart blocks are oriented correctly they collectively display the complete picture. The smart blocks can be used in conjunction with a smart mat that is configured to move the smart blocks in response to commands received from a remote computing device. The smart blocks and the smart mat can facilitate interactivity with other, remote users, such as between a caregiver and a child.
Bouncy book toy
A child's toy transformable between a book position and a ball position, including a pair of end covers which each have round outer surfaces and planar inner cover surfaces, and a plurality of disc-shaped pages that have opposed circular planar surfaces with viewable indicia thereon. At least one flexible hinge in operative connection with each end cover and each page. In the ball position, the planar inner cover surfaces are in opposed facing relation and the plurality of disc-shaped pages are in abutting sandwiched relation therebetween. A releasable clasp may be engaged to hold the covers and pages in the ball position so the toy is readily rollable, and the clasp may be released to transform the toy to the book position in which the end covers are disposed away from one another and pages are individually movable to view indicia thereon.
