A cutting tooth system for a disk of a disk-saw felling head. The disk defines a receiving portion and an axis of rotation. The cutting tooth system comprises at least one cutting tooth. The cutting tooth comprises a first portion defining a first protrusion and a second protrusion. The first portion is configured to be received in the receiving portion for rotation with the disk. A second portion defines a chip removal path and a cutting edge adjacent the chip removal path. A first retaining device is configured to couple to the disk to secure the first protrusion in the receiving portion. A second retaining device is configured to couple to the disk to secure the second protrusion in the receiving portion.

SAW TOOTH AND INSERT THEREFOR
A saw tooth for a saw including a square saw tooth body to be mounted on a holder and for receiving inserts fastened to inwardly sloping seating surfaces on the cutting end of the tooth body. The inserts are provided with cutting edges. Between seating surfaces, the cutting end of the tooth body defines recesses for receiving intermediate members fastened therein. The intermediate members are provided with cutting edges, and the intermediate members abut the adjoining inserts to form a cutting surface about the periphery of the cutting end of the saw tooth and help protect the saw tooth body from damage including washout.

SAW TOOTH HOLDER, CUTTING DISK FOR A ROTARY CUTTING MACHINE AND ROTARY CUTTING MACHINE INCLUDING SAME
The present disclosure concerns a saw tooth holder for a cutting disk of a rotary cutting machine. The saw tooth holder comprises a holder body having a tooth-receiving surface abuttable against a rear surface of a saw tooth of a tooth assembly and a trailing surface, opposed to the tooth-receiving surface, and defining a trailing oblique angle with respect to the tooth-receiving surface. The holder body has a fastener-receiving aperture extending therethrough between the tooth-receiving surface and the trailing surface and being accessible from the tooth-receiving surface and the trailing surface. The present disclosure also concerns a cutting disk comprising such a saw tooth holder, a saw tooth holder in combination with a tooth assembly, and a rotary cutting machine comprising such a cutting disk.
SLITTING CUTTER AND TOOL KEY IN COMBINATION THEREWITH
A slitting cutter having a disk-shaped cutter body with a plurality of circumferentially spaced insert receiving portions and a plurality of cutting inserts retained therein. Each insert receiving portion has first and second clamping jaws spaced apart by an insert receiving slot, the first clamping jaw resiliently displaceable and having a resilient axis of rotation. The number of cutting inserts resiliently clamped in the slitting cutter is an inner cutting diameter defined by the plurality of resilient axes of rotation multiplied by a spacing factor of between 0.15 and 0.30. A tool key having first and second key prongs is used in combination with the slitting cutter. The second key prong has a thrust surface with a concave profile. In a partially assembled position of the slitting cutter the thrust surface contacts at least one of two spaced apart first and second corner surfaces of the respective cutting insert.
Straight cutting oscillating blade
An accessory tool for an oscillating power tool includes a blade portion including a first lateral edge portion, a second lateral edge portion, and a leading edge portion, the leading edge portion defining a cutting edge. A reinforcement structure extends linearly across the blade portion from a first position located on the leading edge portion proximate the first lateral edge portion to a second position located on the second lateral edge portion and spaced apart from the leading edge portion. The reinforcement structure defines a cutting zone that encompasses a leading region of the blade portion between the reinforcement structure and the leading edge portion, the reinforcement structure being configured to increase a stiffness of the blade portion.
Saw tooth
A saw tooth including a body defining substantially opposed rear and front ends and an axial centerline extending between the rear and front ends, the body defining side faces joined to each other by body edge sections, each side face and each body edge section extending between the rear and front ends; edge cutting tips extending from the body at the front end and facing the direction of advance, each edge cutting tip being in prolongation of a respective one of the body edge sections; and side cutting tips extending from the body and facing the direction of advance, each of the side cutting tips being provided at the front end between two adjacent ones of the edge cutting tips in prolongation of a respective one of the side faces.
Box joint blade system
A box-joint blade system includes left- and right-directed blades that each include a saw plate, a set of saw tips, and a set of gullets disposed between the tips. The tips of each blade are axially offset from the saw plate in opposite directions, such that the blades may be mounted on the axis of the saw in either a first configuration, with left and right saw tips outwardly offset and producing a wide cut, or a second configuration, with the tips inwardly offset and producing a narrow cut. In at least the second configuration, the tips of each blade are disposed within the gullets of the other. The tips optionally have a positive hook angle of up to 20 or more, to produce a smooth, flat-bottomed groove in a workpiece.
CIRCULAR SAW BLADE ASSEMBLIES
What is disclosed is a blade core for attachment with an endless chain assembly. The blade core is a generally circular disc having two opposing faces and a width between the faces. The blade core has a circumferential groove extending inward from the circumference of the blade core such that the drive links, or the tang of the drive links, extends from the chain located on the circumference of the circular disc inward in said groove. Ideally the width of the groove is proximate to the width of the drive link such that friction between the sides of the groove and the drive link prevent the chain from rotating along the circumference of the circular disc when the blade core and endless chain assembly are rotating to cut a material. Ideally the base of tie-strap-tie strap and tie strap-cutter assembly is the same as width of the rail to restrict lateral movement.
