Composition comprising lignocellulosic fibrious material for horticultural use and method
A composition comprising lignocellulosic fibrous material for horticultural use is provided having one or more solvents and a fiber, wherein the fiber has been processed by ruminant digestion and anaerobic digestion. A method for preparing a composition comprising lignocellulosic fibrous material for horticultural use is also disclosed including the steps of providing excrement from a ruminant which has undergone ruminant digestion, introducing the ruminant excrement into an anaerobic digester, modifying the ruminant excrement to a first wet product, modifying the first wet product to generate a first dry product, and densifying the first dry product to, in turn, generate the composition comprising lignocellulosic fibrous material for horticultural use.
Pet bed
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pet bed which, even when excretion or another liquid is excreted onto an excretion surface of the bed during use of the pet bed, can suppress stuffiness on the excretion surface of the pet bed, and bedsores (pressure sores) resulting therefrom. This pet bed (1, 41) is provided with: a mat (3) having a planar direction and a thickness direction and having a top surface and a bottom surface; and an absorbent sheet (5) which is arranged on the top surface of the mat so as to overlap the mat in the thickness direction. The mat (3) is a fibrous structure configured from thermoplastic resin fibers (15, 17), and the absorbent sheet (5) includes a liquid-permeable front surface sheet (21), an absorbent body (25), and a liquid-impermeable and moisture-permeable back sheet (23).
Pet bed
A pet bed includes a frame body having cushioning properties and a mat surrounded by the frame body and having cushioning properties. The mat has a top surface and a thickness. The frame body has a thickness that is greater than the thickness of the mat. The pet bed has a height in the thickness direction of the mat. The height is greater than the mat at the frame body. The mat has a fiber structure formed of thermoplastic resin fibers having an average fiber diameter of 0.01-5 mm. When the frame body and the mat are compressed under the same pressure, the decrease in the thickness of the mat due to the compression is smaller than the decrease in the thickness of the frame body due to the compression.
Pressure activated recharging cooling platform
A pressure activated recharging cooling platform for cooling an object is provided. The cooling platform comprises a temperature regulation layer, a support layer, and a channeled covering layer. The temperature regulation layer is adapted to hold a composition. The temperature regulation layer has a plurality of angled segments, wherein angled segments within a sealed perimeter of the temperature regulation layer are formed by a top side and a bottom side at a predefined distance, and channels, wherein the channels substantially form sides by contacting the top side with the bottom side at a distance lesser than the predefined distance. The support layer is substantially bonded to the bottom side of the temperature regulation layer and is comprised of material sufficiently pliable to deform and sufficiently rigid to withstand collapse in response to the weight of the object. The channeled covering layer encompasses the support and temperature regulation layers.
Water absorption treatment material and method for manufacturing the same
Provided are a water absorption treatment material that can be manufactured at a low cost and in which a clump of used grains can be formed, and a method for manufacturing the same. A water absorption treatment material includes a first grain and a second grain that absorb a liquid. The first grain includes a first core portion and a coating portion. The first core portion has a grain-like shape. The coating portion contains an adhesive material, and covers the first core portion. The second grain includes a second core portion. The second core portion has a grain-like shape. In the second grain, the second core portion is uncovered.
Litter for promoting pet's in-litter elimination
The present invention concerns a pet litter comprising a composition comprising 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane-4-methanol. The present invention further relates to methods and uses of a composition comprising 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane-4-methanol in pet litters, in particular for promoting in-litter elimination by pets.
Mineral based animal litter
A clumping litter is provided that includes a hydrophilic light weight material, a clumping agent, and a mineral particulate combined to form pellets sized to from 4 to 40 US mesh in diameter. A clumping litter is also provided in which the hydrophilic light weight material is wood flour, the mineral particulate is dolomite or limestone is also provided that also includes sodium bicarbonate, a clumping agent, and solubilized citric acid combined to form the pellets. A clumping litter is also provided in which the hydrophilic light weight material is a paper pulp and powdered clay that are combined with mineral particulate combined to form the pellets.
PET TOILET SHEET COVER MEMBER AND PET TOILET
[Problem to be solved] To provide a pet toilet sheet cover member that is provided so as to cover a pet toilet sheet laid on a floor surface and can be easily positioned with respect to the pet toilet sheet and can be easily moved, and to provide a pet toilet having the pet toilet sheet cover member.
[Solution] A cover member 1 of a pet toilet sheet 3 according to the present invention includes: a frame member 7 that is provided on the rectangular pet toilet sheet 3 laid on a floor surface so as to over an outer peripheral edge part of the pet toilet sheet 3; and sheet fixing members 9 that are provided on the frame member 7 and fix the pet toilet sheet 3 to the frame member 7. The frame member 7 is formed to have an octagonal outer peripheral shape by obliquely cutting off corner parts of a rectangular shape. The sheet fixing members 9 are respectively provided at the corner parts of the frame member 7, and are structured to respectively fix folded corner parts of the pet toilet sheet 3 to the frame member 7.
Excrement treatment material comprising a non-uniform coating and method for manufacturing the same
An excrement treatment material includes a plurality of granules that absorb excrement. Each granule includes a granular core portion, and a coating portion. The core portion has a circular cross-section, and has a function of absorbing and retaining the excrement. The coating portion coats the core portion. The coating portion has a function of causing the plurality of granules, which have absorbed the excrement, to adhere to each other. In a cross-section of each granule that is in the same plane as the cross-section of the core portion, a thickness of the coating portion on one side of the core portion is smaller than a thickness of the coating portion on another side of the core portion.
