A gating system comprising a gate, footplate, latch, c-bracket, and parallel structural members which provides infinite mounting points to connect gates to slotted floor slates with a footplate. The gating system simplifies the design, manufacture, installation, and operation of animal management.

A pet carrying backpack includes a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel, a right-side panel, and a left-side panel connected to form a bag with an open top. The open top includes a collar forming an opening which allows a head of an animal within the bag to protrude therefrom. The collar may be adjustable. Shoulder straps are disposed on and extend from the front panel. Paw holes are disposed on a front of the backpack body above the shoulder straps and below the collar. A trailer apparatus is provided having two half forms connected to a frame joint, the half forms mounted on a first and second pivot bar on the joint frame to pivot to open and to pivot to close in a clam shell arrangement. The trailer apparatus may assume a form of backpack or luggage piece adapted to store items and may assume the form of a towable trailer, having a tow bar, wheels, and a three-dimensional covering over the open sides of the half forms to enclose cargo space or to keep a pet inside the footprint of the half form adapted as trailer bed when the trailer apparatus is extended for use.

A pet crate having a top, a bottom, and a cage between the top and bottom. The cage can be engaged to and disengaged from each of the top and bottom. When engaged to the top and bottom, or when disengaged from either one or both of the top and bottom, the cage is endless and can safely hold a pet therein. When disengaged from the top and bottom, the cage is foldable into a closed, endless and flat configuration such that the cage can be stored between the top and bottom such that the crate as a whole in such stored configuration is generally flat. When disengaged from the top and bottom, the cage is foldable out into a fence configuration by disconnecting two ends of the cage.

A collapsible pet carrier includes: an interior space defined between opposing side walls, opposing end walls, a bottom wall, and a top wall. One of the walls may be opened to allow access to the interior space. An expandable rigid board is located at least partially within one the walls. In an expanded configuration of the pet carrier the board is located substantially along a length of one of the walls to provide support to the collapsible pet carrier when the collapsible pet carrier is expanded. In a collapsed configuration of the pet carrier the board extends along less than half of the length of one of the walls to allow the pet carrier to be folded along one of the opposing side walls, opposing end walls, bottom wall, and top wall.

The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus to support transport of a pet in a self-contained expandable carrier. In some examples, the carrier may be worn by a user to support the pet in a proximate location. A pet carrier which may be worn may provide comfort to pet owners while they travel.

A back carrier adjusting system is provided in the present disclosure. The back carrier adjusting system is applied to a back carrier, which includes a main body and a strap unit connected to the main body. The back carrier adjusting system includes a guiding unit, a sliding unit and a fastening device. The guiding unit is disposed on the strap unit. The sliding unit is connected to the main body and slidably limited in the guiding unit. The fastening device includes at least one lace and a reel mechanism operably coupled with the at least one lace. The at least one lace is connected to the sliding unit. The reel mechanism is operated to retract or release the at least one lace, which makes the sliding unit move relative to the guiding unit, in order to adjust a height of the main body relative to the strap unit.

A securement system for securing one or more calf hutches is provided. The securement system includes latch assemblies and a line. The latch assemblies are configured to be attached to the calf hutches and comprise receiver flanges and latch arms. Each receiver flange includes a vertically-extending plate defining a locking slot with an open end. Each latch arm may be shifted between a closed position in which it blocks the open end of the locking slot and an open position in which it does not block the open end of the locking slot. Each latch arm is biased to the closed position.

A securement system for securing one or more calf hutches is provided. The securement system includes latch assemblies and a line. The latch assemblies are configured to be attached to the calf hutches and comprise receiver flanges and latch arms. Each receiver flange includes a vertically-extending plate defining a locking slot with an open end. Each latch arm may be shifted between a closed position in which it blocks the open end of the locking slot and an open position in which it does not block the open end of the locking slot. Each latch arm is biased to the closed position.
