A lock for a pet transporter is provided. The lock includes a gear drive set, at least one pair of lock rods, and a chassis. Each lock rod includes an inner end including a rack portion having a structure for engaging with a transmission gear of the gear drive set, each transmission gear having a structure for engaging with a main gear of the gear drive set such that rotation of the main gear drives rotation of each engaged transmission gear. In use, rotation of the main gear in a first direction synchronously drives the first pair of lock rods into the corresponding lock holes to engage the lock, and rotation of the main gear in an opposite direction synchronously drives the first pair of lock rods out of the corresponding lock holes to disengage the lock.

A pet guard apparatus to be applied to a vehicle includes a pet guard body and a first air-bag device. The pet guard body is attachable to a vehicle compartment of the vehicle in which a pet is to be placed in such a manner that the pet guard body extends in a vertical direction in the vehicle compartment to partition the vehicle compartment into a front portion and a rear portion. The first air-bag device is attached to the pet guard body. The first air-bag device includes a pet air-bag and a pet air-bag inflator. The pet air-bag is configured to be deployed behind the pet guard body. The pet air-bag inflator is configured to be operated to deploy the pet air-bag upon contact of the vehicle.

A vehicle with a pet protection function includes a pet guard body, a first air-bag device, and a controller. The pet guard body is disposed in a vehicle compartment of the vehicle on which a pet is to be loaded in such a manner that the pet guard body partitions a vehicle compartment into a front portion and a rear portion. The first air-bag device is configured to be deployed behind the pet guard body. The controller is configured to deploy the first air-bag device upon contact of the vehicle.

An animal lifting device and method is provided. In particular, a hip member and a chest member are provided that have handles thereon. The chest member and the hip member may be selectively interconnected to each other with an interconnection member. The chest member may include an upper portion, shoulder pads, a chest pad, a center cross member, and an adjustable strap. The hip member may include an upper portion, an adjustable sling, and adjustable straps.

An in-vehicle carrier system comprising: a base floor assembly including: a floor surface including a liquid drain, a supporting channel below the floor surface and open to the liquid drain, a pedestal below the floor surface and coupled to the supporting channel; a first sidewall attached to the base floor assembly on the floor surface; a second sidewall attached to the base floor assembly on the floor surface; and a crossbar attached above the pedestal and connected to the first sidewall and the second sidewall.

A pet stroller includes a canopy fabric, a supporting frame, a first longitudinal frame, a second longitudinal frame, a rear wheel frame, and a plurality of wheels. The supporting frame includes a carriage body which has an accommodating cavity and a front opening. The supporting frame includes a main supporting frame, an adjustable supporting frame and a utility frame extended from the main supporting frame to a position corresponding to the front opening of the carriage body for allowing pet's access. When the adjustable supporting frame is in a lying position, the adjustable supporting frame is pivotally moved to substantially align with the main supporting frame for maximizing a volume of the accommodating cavity. When the adjustable supporting frame is in the first inclined position, it is pivotally moved to inclinedly and upwardly extended from the main supporting frame for reducing a size of the accommodating cavity.

A piglet-protection device for a farrowing pen is equipped with a first side part, with a trough console, which is connected to the first side part, and with a second side part, which is connected to the trough console so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis. By pivoting the second side part, the piglet-protection device can be brought into a piglet-protection position, in which the second side part is arranged substantially parallel to the first side part, and into a movement position, in which the second side part is spread away from the first side part. A first door element and a second door element delimit the piglet-protection device at the rear in the piglet-protection position. The first door element and/or the second door element are arranged in a length-adjustable manner on the first and second side part, respectively.

A collapsible pet crate is provided that includes a top; a bottom base; and a plurality of walls including a first wall pair. The first wall pair includes a first wall pivotably connected to the bottom base for pivoting about a first horizontal axis and a second wall pivotably connected to the first wall for pivoting about a first vertical axis. The collapsible pet crate being configured for arrangement in a crating orientation in which the top is removably connected to at least one of the walls and a collapsed orientation in which the top is removably connected to the bottom base. A method of providing a collapsible pet crate is also provided.

A collapsible pet crate is provided that includes a top; a bottom base; and a plurality of walls including a first wall pair. The first wall pair includes a first wall pivotably connected to the bottom base for pivoting about a first horizontal axis and a second wall pivotably connected to the first wall for pivoting about a first vertical axis. The collapsible pet crate being configured for arrangement in a crating orientation in which the top is removably connected to at least one of the walls and a collapsed orientation in which the top is removably connected to the bottom base. A method of providing a collapsible pet crate is also provided.

A floating pet confinement system for the recreational enjoyment of small pet owners that enables a pet to safely float on water while remaining dry and confined. The system has a buoyant base that can be inflatable or molded. Holes are formed in the top surface of the buoyant base. A pet enclosure with an open bottom is set atop the top surface. The pet enclosure engages the holes on the buoyant base when the pet enclosure is upright. However, the pet enclosure is free to disengage from the holes and fall away from the buoyant base should the buoyant base tip. A pet is placed within the enclosure atop the buoyant base. Should the buoyant base tilt past a certain angle of inclination, the pet enclosure will fall away from the buoyant base. The pet is then free to exit the enclosure through the open base of the enclosure.
