METHOD AND FLAT BED MACHINE TOOL FOR DETECTING A FITTING POSITION OF A SUPPORTING BAR
A method detects a suspension position of a supporting bar in a pallet, having supporting bars along a longitudinal direction, each with multiple supporting bar tips along a main direction of extent. The supporting bar tips define a supporting plane. A two-dimensional contrast-image dataset of the pallet is created, its pixels being assigned a pixel value and a pixel-area unit of the supporting plane. The contrast-image dataset has regions that are assigned to the supporting bar tips as local pixel-value extremes in a uniform pixel-value background. A longitudinal position is determined in the contrast-image dataset of the regions that are assigned to the supporting bar tips a supporting bar using the local pixel-value extremes. The suspension position of the supporting bar in the pallet is deduced based on the longitudinal position in the contrast-image dataset and an extent of the pixel-area unit in the longitudinal direction.
Control Systems for Three-Dimensional Printing
Provided herein are systems, apparatuses and methods for monitoring a three-dimensional printing process. The three-dimensional printing process can be monitored in-situ and/or in real time. Monitoring of the three-dimensional printing process can be non-invasive. A computer control system can be coupled to one or more detectors and signal processing units to adjust the generation of a three-dimensional object that is formed by the three-dimensional printing.

Device and method for generative component production
The present invention relates to a device for laser-based generative component production. The device comprises a processing head (1), using which a plurality of mutually separate laser beams are directed adjacently and/or overlapping to some extent onto the processing plane, The processing head (1) is moved across the processing plane using a movement apparatus (9), while the mutually separate laser beams are modulated independently of one another in terms of intensity, in order to obtain the desired exposure geometry. The laser power and the dimensional size can be scaled cost effectively during the generative production using the suggested device and the associated method.
Thermos Cup Vacuumizing Device And Method
A thermos cup vacuumizing device and method are provided. The thermos cup vacuumizing device includes a pre-vacuumizing chamber, a heating chamber, a welding chamber, and a cooling chamber. A continuous conveying device is provided at a bottom of each of the chambers. The thermos cup vacuumizing device further includes a controllable and movable laser welding device and multiple transparent windows. A laser beam of the laser welding device passes through the transparent windows to melt a welding ball at provided at a hole in the center of the bottom of the thermos cup. A vertically movable inlet valve is provided at an inlet of the pre-vacuumizing chamber, and a vertically movable outlet valve is provided at an outlet of the cooling chamber. The present disclosure realizes the continuous vacuumizing operation on the thermos cups, improves the product qualification rate and processing efficiency, and realizes automatic mass production.

The welding system can include, for example, a welding torch that includes, for example, a contact tip and a pivot in which the contact tip is coupled to the pivot and is configured to provide wire that is fed through the welding torch during a welding operation. The contact tip and the pivot are configured to independently move the contact tip of the welding torch around the pivot during the welding operation.
Method and system for extending optics lifetime in laser processing apparatus
Methods and apparatus for extending the lifetime of optical components are disclosed. A beam of laser energy directed along a beam path that intersects a scan lens, through which it can be transmitted. The beam path can be deflected within a scan region of the scan lens to process a workpiece with the laser energy transmitted by the scan lens. The scan region can be shifted to a different location within the scan lens, e.g., to delay or avoid accumulation of laser-induced damage within the scan lens, while processing a workpiece.
