Moreover, the laser light emission head includes a cleaning unit having a second housing in which a cleaning mechanism for cleaning the protection glasses attached to the glass holder is arranged. The glass holder is configured movably between the first housing and the second housing.
Closure device for chamber housing laser unit for cutting sheet metal
A closure device for a chamber housing a laser units for cutting a sheet metal strip includes, in proximity of an exit slit of the strip to be machined, a bar arranged transversely to the axis of advancement of the strip, and having, at the lower edges of the major side surfaces, longitudinal edges of a U-folded plate bound thereto. The plate has a plurality of transverse slots ending before its edges. An actuator provided for a vertical movement of the bar.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for inspecting a part
Described herein is an apparatus, for shielding light generated by a laser during non-destructive inspection of an object. The apparatus includes a light shield at least partially enveloping the laser and defining a first opening through which light generated by the laser passes from the laser to the object. The light shield is opaque and includes at least one first biasing mechanism. The apparatus also includes at least one first light seal coupled to the light shield about the first opening of the light shield. The at least one first biasing mechanism is configured to urge resilient deformation of the at least one first light seal against the object. When the at least one first light seal is resiliently deformed against the object, light generated by the laser is constrained within a light containment space defined between the light shield, the at least one first light seal, and the object.
Isolative shield with positional control features for welded flexible cell tabs in an HV battery cell stack
A cell stack includes adjacent first and second battery cells respectively having a positive cell tab, a negative cell tab, and an outer surface. The outer surfaces are flush. The positive cell tab of the first battery cell protrudes from the outer surface of the first battery cell, and the negative cell tab of the second battery cell protrudes from the outer surface of the second battery cell. An isolative shield is positioned adjacent to the outer surfaces, and defines through-slots receiving therein a respective one of the cell tabs. A method includes providing the cell stack, inserting the cell tabs into the pair of through-slots of the isolative shield, positioning a primary surface of the isolative shield adjacent to the outer surfaces of the adjacent battery cells after inserting the cell tabs, and affixing the primary surface of the isolative shield to the cell stack.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A method of manufacturing an electronic apparatus includes: providing a work substrate including a preliminary set module including an active area including a hole formation area; and a protective film covering at least one of an upper surface and a rear surface of the preliminary set module; radiating the laser beam to the work substrate from a first start point toward a moving path removing at least a portion of the work substrate to form a first start cutting line in the hole formation area, the moving path of the laser beam defined as a boundary between the hole formation area and the active area; radiating the laser beam along the moving path; and removing the hole formation area from the preliminary set module to form a module hole, wherein the first start cutting line forms a predetermined angle with respect to a tangential line of the moving path.
IMPROVED LASER MARKING EQUIPMENT
It is disclosed a laser marking apparatus provided with a protection shield, comprising a support frame (T) of a working deck (2) and wherein, around said working deck, a protection shield is arranged which fully encircles the working area of said laser marking head (4) and provided with at least partly perimetrally upright arranged panels with respect to said working deck, wherein said panels (P1-P8) are mounted movable from a lower position, wherein said shield encircles said support frame (T) up to a height completely below or flush with the upper surface of said working deck (2), to an upper extended position wherein said shield encircles the area above said working deck (2) up to a working height of said laser marking head (4).
