SAFETY CONNECTION DEVICE WITH AUTOMATIC RELEASE IN THE EVENT OF TRACTION GREATER THAN AN ADJUSTABLE THRESHOLD VALUE
20170198739 · 2017-07-13 ·

The device comprises a male assembly, in the form of a cylindrical part, engaged such that it is free to slide inside a female assembly, in the form of a sleeve with a central bore for receiving the male assembly, that defines an opening for engaging and an opening for disengaging of said male assembly, the said male and female assemblies include supplementary arrangements, which, in connected position, are able to abut against each other to stop the sliding of the male assembly in the direction of disengagement, where, in disconnected position, the said arrangements can release themselves from each other under the effect of axial tensile force greater than the predetermined threshold value, relatively applied on the male assembly in the direction of disengagement in order to separate one from the other of the said male and female assemblies.

Dog Grooming Clamp
20170181405 · 2017-06-29 ·

A dog grooming clamp. The dog grooming clamp has a base member, two parallel and opposing arms extending from either end of the base member, and a third arm with a threaded aperture that is perpendicularly attached to a first arm. A hollow channel extends along the entire length of the base member. A handle is pivotally attached to a second arm and designed to push a pin into the channel when rotated in a first direction, such that when a rope is positioned within the channel, the pin pushes the rope against the channel, locking it in place. The rope can be easily released by rotating the handle in an opposing direction. A threaded rod is inserted within the threaded aperture and is used to easily attach the dog grooming clamp to a pole.

Self-adjusting magnetic link
09615543 · 2017-04-11 · ·

The present invention is a self-adjusting link for connecting two anchors that move under a varying external force, comprising: N magnetic units; N1 link connectors, each link connector connecting one unit to an adjacent unit, each magnetic unit being held by the link connectors such that each pair of adjacent units can move from a closed position where they are magnetically bound to an open position where they do not exert significant force on each other; and anchor connectors attached to the anchors. The length of the link increases as the external force increases sufficiently to cause one or more pairs of magnetic units to move from the closed position into one of the open positions to permit the anchors to further separate, and the length of the link decreases as the external force is reduced and one or more pairs of magnetic units move into the closed position.

Tie-Out Post Having a Detachable and Rotatable Connection Point

A tie-out post that provides a point of connection that it fixed at a location and is capable of rotating 360 degrees around that location in either direction. When used as a pet tie-down it provides the pet with freedom to move in any direction, is not apt to entanglement, does not provide a scenario where the pet may damage the device by pulling in opposite direction of point of connection, and is not apt to were and tear. The tie-out post includes a ground spike to be inserted in the ground and a detachable and rotatable connection head to be located on the surface of the ground. The connection head includes a connector (fully enclosed) that is centered thereon and is capable of rotating therearound. The placement of the connector at the top of the connection head minimizes the size and diameter of the tie-out post.
