Method and system of all-position plasma welding process for titanium alloy pipeline
The present disclosure provides a method of all-position plasma welding process for titanium alloy pipeline, which may be used for welding a titanium alloy pipeline made of TA2 or TC4, with a wall thickness of 3˜16 mm, and a pipe diameter of 108 mm or more. When the wall thickness is 3˜9 mm, a keyhole type technology may be used for one-time welding formation, and when the wall thickness is 9˜16 mm, grooving treatment needs to be performed for the pipeline, and the keyhole type technology is used for backing welding, and then filling welding and covering welding are performed using filler wire welding through a melt-in technology. The method includes following steps: S1: performing pre-welding treatment for the pipeline; S2: clamping the pipeline; S3: setting welding parameters; S4: starting the welding.
PORTABLE DEVICE FOR PRECISION PLASMA AND OXY-FUEL TORCH CUTTING
A portable device for precision plasma and oxy-fuel torch cutting is provided. Versions of an example portable cutting torch tool guide the gun of a cutting torch to make precision linear cuts or curved cuts in a metal workpiece. In an implementation, the device is a gun for a cutting torch, with an integrated rail follower and adjustable vertical and horizontal offsets from a workpiece. The cutting torch tool may use various kinds of rails for stable cuts, with optional movement damping, motorized drive, servos for vertical and horizontal offset, and remote control with user interface.
Welded deck seam skin pontoon internal floating roof
An internal floating roof for a storage tank includes a rim, a first plurality of girders, including a first girder, a second plurality of girders, including a second girder, a deck sheet, a first cap channel, a second cap channel, and a pontoon coupled to the first girder. The first plurality of girders extend in a first direction across the rim, wherein the first plurality of girders comprises a first girder. The second plurality of girders extend in a second direction, cross-wise to the first direction. The deck sheet is disposed on a first top surface of the first girder and a second top surface of the second girder. The first cap channel is coupled to a first top channel of the first girder. The first cap channel comprises a first foot configured to press a first edge of the deck sheet against the first top surface of the first girder. The first foot is welded to the deck sheet along a first length of the first cap channel. The second cap channel is coupled to a second top channel of the second girder, wherein the second cap channel comprises a second foot configured to press a second edge of the deck sheet against the second top surface of the second girder. The second foot is welded to the deck sheet along a second length of the second cap channel.
PIPE PROCESSING TOOL WITH PIPE DEFORMATION MEMBERS
A pipe processing tool that is configured to deform the end of a pipe so that the circumferential shape of the end of the pipe generally matches the circumferential shape of an adjacent pipe end. Matching the circumferential shapes of the pipe ends is advantageous during a pipe attachment process. The pipe processing tool can include a deformation ring with a plurality of pipe deformation members. Each pipe deformation member faces radially inward and is actuatable in a radial direction toward and away from the center of the deformation ring in order to permit engagement with the pipe. Each pipe deformation member is individually and separately actuatable from the other pipe deformation members so that the circumferential shapes of the pipes can be altered by controlling suitable ones of the pipe deformation members.

When the welding torch is seen from a side of jetting of the shielding gas, the contact tip is placed in an inside of an opening of the nozzle, the nozzle and the contact tip have a relatively movable structure, and an inner diameter of the nozzle end is within a range of 10-20 mm.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ULTRASONIC ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
In a method of applying a weld to a target surface, a guide rail arrangement is attached to the target, the guide rail arrangement including at least one guide rail. A weld head carriage having a carriage housing, a rail follower assembly, and a sonotrode is movably mounted to the guide rail arrangement so that the follower assembly engages each guide rail for movement there-along. The weld head carriage is positioned adjacent the target surface, feedstock material is deposited onto the target surface, and the sonotrode is extended to engage the deposited feedstock material and apply a welding force to the feedstock material and the target. Relative movement between the carriage and the guide rail arrangement is initiated and ultrasonic vibrations are conducted into the feedstock material and the target, thereby welding the feedstock material to the target surface.
