Fastening tool for dynamically fastening parts for machining
The present invention relates to a fastening tool for dynamically fastening parts for machining, said tool being formed by an annular frame (1) which is fastened to a rotary supporting means (2) arranged around the location of the machining tool (4) on a tool-holder head (3). The annular frame (1) incorporates a tamper formed by a rotating ball (5) and, in a diametrically opposite position, a tilting clamp (6) which incorporates a counter-tamper formed by another rotating ball (8). According to the invention, a cantilevered portion (9.1) of a part can be seized between the balls (5) and (8) of the tamper and counter-tamper in order to prevent bending and vibrations in relation to same during machining.
USE OF VACUUM DURING TRANSFER OF SUBSTRATES
A method for evacuating a volume below a substrate in a substrate processing system includes arranging the substrate on a lift mechanism of a substrate support to define the volume below the substrate between the substrate and an upper surface of the substrate support. An evacuation step is initiated to evacuate the volume below the substrate. The evacuation step includes pumping down the volume below the substrate at least one of through and around the lift mechanism. The lift mechanism is lowered during the evacuation step to position the substrate on the upper surface of the substrate support and the evacuation step is terminated.
Machining Fixture Positioning Switch
A switch housing body has a base and a sidewall having an axis and extending from the base to a rim and having a pair of axial slots. A switch cap has: a cap body having a top web; and a sidewall extending from the top web to a rim and having a pair of holes. A shaft passes through the pair of axial slots and pair of holes. A spring biases the cap axially away from the housing from a compressed condition to an extended condition. A cap electrical contact and a housing electrical contact have an electrically closed condition at the compressed condition.
Device for clamping a workpiece to a workbench
A device for clamping a workpiece (P) to a workbench (T) includes a body (1) containing a vacuum-generating element. The body (1) has a lower cavity (2) open at the bottom and positioned in the vicinity of a face for securing to the workbench (T). The lower cavity (2) forms a vacuum reserve, this vacuum reserve being connected by a substantially straight duct (6) to an upper face for securing a workpiece (P).
SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING A WORKPIECE
A system for supporting a workpiece is disclosed, wherein several heads with a suction cup define an engaging and supporting surface that is at least partially shaped like the workpiece. Each each head with suction cup is coupled by a bail joint with a first movable element of a vertical linear actuator and is couplable by a removable fitting with a fork carried by a second movable element that rotates around a rotation axis that is coaxial with the axis of the linear actuator. The second movable element carries an abutment, spaced from the center of the ball joint against which the suction cup head abuts and moved by the linear actuator to perform the adjustment of the orientation thereof around the ball joint.
