METHOD AND VARIABLE SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING WORKPIECE-SUPPORTING MODULE
A method for adjusting a workpiece-supporting module includes: setting initial support position information of a workpiece, the initial support position information including positions of support devices and a spacing value for separating the support devices; according to the initial support position information, applying a finite element method to analyze a CAD file of the workpiece to obtain workpiece deformation information; according to the workpiece deformation information and target workpiece deformation information, realizing support position information corresponding to each support device, the support position information including X-axis coordinates and Y-axis coordinates; according to the support position information and a conversion program, obtaining a Z-axis coordinate and a normal vector of each support devices; and, according to the support position information, the Z-axis coordinate and the normal vector, adjusting the position and the angle of each support device. In addition, a variable system for adjusting the same workpiece-supporting module is also proposed.
Modular machine tool work holding system
A work holding clamp system for securing a workpiece to a work surface having a work surface T-slot arranged along an ‘X’ axis, comprised of a base plate secured to the work surface and having a plurality of T-slots, each of the plurality of T-slots are aligned with one of a plurality of axis including at least the ‘X’ axis and a ‘Y’ axis that is transverse to the ‘X’ axis. The work holding clamp system includes a workholding element selected from the group consisting of wedge clamps, pivot clamps and workstops, that may be secured within a T-slot of the plurality of T-slots provided in the base plate.
Adjustable support device
An adjustable support device can include a main body; a pin housed within the main body that is vertically adjustable and has external threading; and a wheel cap attached to the top of the main body and having internal threading, wherein the wheel cap and the pin are threadedly engaged. The adjustable support device can include a plug positioned below the main body; and a shoulder screw configured to removably connect the plug to the main body. The plug can be comprised of a compressible material and can be tapered from its top to its bottom. The shoulder screw can be insertable through the center of the plug, and the shoulder screw can be configured to threadedly connect to an interior of the main body. The adjustable support device can include a cap grip interconnected with external surfaces of the wheel cap; and a lower grip connected to a bottom of the main body.
Clamp for retaining a workpiece
A clamp for retaining a workpiece onto a fixture whereby the method of connecting the clamp to the fixture provides for a simultaneous combination of both horizontal and vertical clamping forces against the workpiece without locating any portion of the clamp above the upper surface of the workpiece.
SYSTEM FOR HOLD, CLAMP AND POSITION OBJECTS
The invention relates to to object holding and positioning system that is used for the purposes of clamping, locking, fixing, positioning, conveying, gripping, holding, pushing or pulling the object in the fields of machine tools, machining centers, turning machine, transfer line, metal machine, robot, robot arms, robot hands, rotary tables, fixtures etc. and that enables the holders (T) holding the objects (P) to be locked on the machine tables or robots by means of the link elements (S) and at the same time to be locked.
Clamping jaw for clamping of a workpiece
A clamping jaw for the clamping of a workpiece, with a body and several clamping inserts arranged in mounting openings of the body made of a sintered material. The clamping inserts are designed in the form of cylindrical pins projecting relative to an end surface of the body and inclined relative to a lower base surface of the body with a clamping edge for forcing the clamping inserts into the workpiece.
Processing device and processing method
A processing device includes: a first processing position (A1) and a second processing position (A2) at which rough processing is performed on a workpiece (W); a third processing position (B1) at which final finishing processing is performed on the workpiece (W) that was processed at the second processing position (A2); flexible vises (7) provided to the first processing position (A1) and the second processing position (A2), the flexible vises (7) securing the workpiece (W) by clamping the same; and a quick clamping device (20) provided to the third processing position (B1), the quick clamping device (20) securing the workpiece (W) by means of a pin. The processing device also includes a control unit that controls a rough processing tool for performing rough processing and a final finishing processing tool for performing final finishing processing.
GRID-TYPE WORKPIECE CARRIER
A grid-type workpiece carrier includes parallel strip-type first grid elements having recesses, and strip-type second grid elements arranged transverse to the first grid elements and having recesses, wherein the recesses of the first and second grid elements engage in one another in such a way that the crossing first and second grid elements form a grid, wherein the first grid elements are mechanically securely fixed to second grid elements that are arranged in an edge region on opposing sides of the grid.
Clamp for retaining a block of material on a machining table, clamping device comprising said clamp and method of clamping a block of material, onto a machining table
A clamp to retain a block of material on a machining table including a body having a first face, a first front face oriented toward the machining table and the block of material when in use, a nose projecting relative to the first front face having a second front face parallel to the first front face, first and second edges connecting the first and second front faces, and at least one internally threaded hole opening at least partly at the level of the second front face with an axis forming a non-zero angle with the first face and the second front face, at least one grub screw screwed into the internally threaded hole having a pointed free end configured to penetrate into the block of material when in use when screwing in the grub screw, and a connecting system to demountably connect the clamp to the machining table.
