HORIZONTAL MULTI-SPINDLE MACHINING CENTER
The present invention relates to a machining center, and more specifically to a horizontal multi-spindle machining center, in which 2-axis (Y- and Z-axis) or 3-axis (X-, Y- and Z-axis) transfer drive units are disposed in the machining center installed to machine workpieces, in which a ram equipped with spindles is moved in the up-down, front-back, and/or left-right directions of the workpieces, in which the spindles are configured to include a plurality of spindles, i.e., 2 to 8 spindles, so that a plurality of workpieces may be machined simultaneously, and in which tool change is simultaneously performed for tools fastened to the plurality of spindles and configured to machine workpieces by using an auto tool changer (ATC), so that tool change speed may be improved and thus manufacturing efficiency may be improved.
TOOL CHANGE UNIT AND TOOL CHANGE DEVICE INCLUDING SAME
A tool change unit includes a base and two tool arms rotatably mounted on the base and respectively located on two sides of the base. Each arm body includes a position-returning element, a gripping element, and an actuation element. The position-returning element enables the tool arm to rotate for upward and downward moving between a first position and a second position. The gripping element functions to grip a main-axle tool or a magazine tool. The tool change unit is combinable with a power unit to form a tool change device. The power unit drives the tool change unit to do rotation or rotation and upward and downward movement.
DEVICE FOR ATTACHING AND DETACHING TOOL IN MAGAZINE
The present disclosure relates to a device for attaching and detaching tools in a magazine, and more particularly, to a device for attaching and detaching tools in a magazine of a machine tool, the device being capable of attaching or detaching a tool having directionality to or from each gripper of the magazine of the machine tool while accurately adjusting a fixed position of the tool.
TOOL GRIPPER FOR MACHINE TOOL
A tool gripper for a machine tool is proposed. The tool gripper includes: a base to which a tool magazine is detachably coupled; a pair of guide arms disposed at both sides of the base to make an insertion space for a tool with the base, each having a first end fixed to the base and a second end having a cantilever shape extending toward the tool, and each having a guide protrusion formed at the second end to come in contact with the tool such that the guide protrusions press both sides of the tool by elasticity acting at the second ends about fixed first ends; and a support extending toward the tool between the guide arms at both sides of the base and having a supporting protrusion supporting the tool at an end.
Machine tool
A machine tool includes: a turret configured to hold a tool through a clamp mechanism; a workpiece main spindle device configured to rotatably hold a workpiece; a switching unit configured to change a clamp state of the clamp mechanism by using rotation torque of the workpiece main spindle device; and an in-machine robot configured to move the switching unit. The clamp mechanism includes a torque input hole to which rotation torque is applied to change the clamp state. The switching unit includes an input shaft coupled with the workpiece main spindle device, an output shaft coupled with the torque input hole of the clamp mechanism and configured to output torque to the torque input hole, and a transmission mechanism configured to transfer, to the output shaft, the rotation torque of the workpiece main spindle device input through the input shaft.
MACHINE TOOL, MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND TOOL DETERIORATION DETECTION METHOD
A machine tool includes: a tool magazine that stores a plurality of tools; a spindle that holds one of the plurality of tools stored in the tool magazine; a glossiness measurement unit that measures glossiness of a tapered outer surface of a taper shank of each of the plurality of tools; a deterioration determination unit that determines whether or not the tapered outer surface is deteriorated on the basis of the glossiness measured by the glossiness measurement unit; and a notification unit that notifies an operator of deterioration of the tapered outer surface if it is determined by the deterioration determination unit that the tapered outer surface is deteriorated.
TOOL-CHANGING DEVICE, MACHINE TOOL HAVING SUCH A TOOL-CHANGING DEVICE, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A tool-changing device which is used on machine tools (18). Here, provision is made to carry out positioning of a tool holder (2) in the working position (6) of the tool holder with the aid of the locking element (7) of the drive device (4) of the tool-changing device (1). An adjusting movement (22) of the locking element (7) into the locking position (9) of the locking element on the tool holder (2) that is required for the use of the tool (3) is used to position the tool holder (2) in the working position (6) thereof, by the adjusting movement (2) of the locking element (7) being converted into a positioning movement (21) of the tool holders (2).
GRIPPING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A gripping device is provided in a turret-type tool magazine of a machine tool and grips a tool or a tool holder that holds the tool. The gripping device includes: a pair of arms configured to grip the tool or the tool holder by pinching the tool or the tool holder between the arms, a main body part configured to support the pair of arms so that each of the paired arms swings in the pinching directions to pinch the tool or the tool holder between the arms; and an angle detector configured to detect a physical quantity indicating a swing angle of the arm.
GRIPPER DEVICE WITH A PROTECTIVE UNIT
A gripper device includes at least one gripper unit which is at least designed to, in at least one work step, grip and/or move a tool and/or a tool holder with at least one tool, and at least one protective unit, which is designed to at least substantially encompass at least a work region of the tool at least in part during the work step. The protective unit is fastened, at least in part during the work step, at least to the gripper unit.
TOOL CHANGER DEVICE FOR A ROBOTIC ARM
A tool changer device for a robotic arm comprising a robot adapter (1) particularly adapted to be connected to a robotic arm (5) and to a tool (6). The robot adapter (1) comprises a pneumatic cylinder (117) inside which a piston (116) is slidably arranged for activating a coupling and uncoupling mechanism (120) of the robotic arm (5) to the tool (6). On one of the walls of the robot adapter (1) at least four through conduits (24, 25, 26, 27) are arranged, one end of which opens into the pneumatic cylinder (117) and another end of which opens outside of the pneumatic cylinder (117). The device further comprises a first differential pressure sensor (18) connected to at least two of the through conduits (24, 25), and a second differential pressure sensor (19) connected to another two of the through conduits (26, 27).
