CLAMPING MECHANISM AND MACHINING CENTER HAVING THE SAME
There is provided a clamping mechanism, including: a housing which is movable to clamp or unclamp an object having clamping blocks; a clamping plate disposed in front of the housing; and a first elastic member applying a clamping force to the clamping plate by movement of the housing, wherein the clamping blocks have receiving grooves in which edges of the clamping plate are received.
ADAPTIVE TOOLING INTERFACE (TOOL CHANGER) WITH A SINGLE MOTOR
An adaptive tooling interface comprises a single motor, disposed at least partially within a housing, which is operatively in communication with a controller and where a first power output and a second power output are operatively in communication with the motor. A drive interface, comprising a external tool interface, is operatively in communication with the motor and configured to mate with and provide power to one or more external tools, which comprise a matching subsea external tool external tooling interface, via the first power output and the second power output. The adaptive tooling interface may be connected to or otherwise integrated into a subsea vehicle system comprising a subsea vehicle.
TOOL CARTRIDGE
A tool cartridge for accommodating tool parts of a multi-part processing tool having a stamp and a die for processing of plate-shaped workpieces is provided. The tool cartridge includes a cartridge base body, a stamp holder for detachably holding a tool part configured as a processing stamp and a die holder for detachably holding a tool part configured as a processing die. The stamp holder includes two cartridge arms pivotable to one another which respectively include a pin for supporting the respective cartridge arm in a pivotable manner. The cartridge base body includes two orifices related to the pins for accommodating the pins in a rotatable manner.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes: a turret configured to hold a tool through a clamp mechanism; a workpiece main spindle device configured to rotatably hold a workpiece; a switching unit configured to change a clamp state of the clamp mechanism by using rotation torque of the workpiece main spindle device; and an in-machine robot configured to move the switching unit. The clamp mechanism includes a torque input hole to which rotation torque is applied to change the clamp state. The switching unit includes an input shaft coupled with the workpiece main spindle device, an output shaft coupled with the torque input hole of the clamp mechanism and configured to output torque to the torque input hole, and a transmission mechanism configured to transfer, to the output shaft, the rotation torque of the workpiece main spindle device input through the input shaft.
ROTARY TOOL STOWAGE SYSTEM
A socket tool storage system comprises a multi-tiered arrangement of a plurality of socket shelves in a vertical configuration, each socket shelf comprised of a plurality of socket drive attachments to receive sockets, with non-identical spacing between the drive attachments. A central shaft facilitates attaching the socket shelves in the vertical configuration, one socket shelf over a next socket shelf, each socket shelf attached to rotate on the central shaft. A ratchet and extension holder attached to the central shaft to stow a plurality of ratchets and extensions, the ratchet and extension holder comprising holes of at least two diameters. A back shroud attaches to a base supporting the central shaft.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes a shielding cover, a door, and an automatic tool changer. The shielding cover covers a machining space of a main spindle. The door opens and closes an opening disposed in the shielding cover. The automatic tool changer automatically exchanges a tool to be mounted to the main spindle. The automatic tool changer exchanges the tool to be mounted to the main spindle by turning an arm in a plane perpendicular to the main spindle so as to cause the arm to enter into and exit from the machining space. The arm is configured to grip and release the tool. The turning of the arm is synchronized with the opening and closing movement of the door.
AUTOMATIC TOOL MAGAZINE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGES USING STANDARD SPINDLES FOR CNC MILLS AND ROUTERS
A rapid change automatic tool change (ATC) magazine comprises a base having an exterior side and an interior side opposite the exterior side, and one or more passageways extending between the exterior side and the interior side, each of the one or more passageways defined by an interior opening and an exterior opening, a spring disposed within each of the one or more passageways of the base, a socket disposed within each of the one or more passageways, the socket having a body, an exterior surface, and an interior surface opposite the exterior surface, and a retaining cap having an upper side and a lower side opposite the upper side wherein the retaining cap includes one or more channels extending through the upper side and the lower side, each of the one or more channels being defined by an upper opening and a lower opening, wherein each of the one or more channels aligns with one of the one or more passageways.
Tool pot
A tool pot includes a resin-made pot body and a metallic reinforcing member embedded in the pot body by insert molding. The reinforcing member is provided with a reinforcing plate embedded in a portion including a horizontal pin insertion portion in the pot body. The reinforcing plate is provided with a lightening hole so as to avoid the horizontal pin insertion portion.
Device to Hold a Rivet Squeezer during Operation and to Store a Rivet Squeezer and Dies
A squeezer holder device for the holding a hand rivet squeezer on a bench top for improved part control and squeezer operation. The squeezer holder device also provides convenient storage for a hand squeezer and associated dies. The central feature of the invention is the simple slot and die holders designed into a single block. The squeezer holder device allows the user to position a squeezer on any benchtop at a user selected orientation. The squeezer holder device enables accurate control of parts with one hand throughout squeezer operation by using the table surface to operate the lower squeezer lever. The squeezer holder device can be easily slid around a benchtop with the squeezer and dies between operations. When squeezer use is completed the squeezer holder device holds the squeezer in an upright space saving position with associated dies.
