Polishing apparatus and pressing pad for pressing polishing tool
A polishing apparatus which can keep a width of a polishing tool constant when a peripheral portion of a substrate is polished by the polishing tool is disclosed. The polishing apparatus includes a substrate holder 3 configured to hold a substrate W and to rotate the substrate W, and a pressing pad 50 configured to press a polishing tool 23 against a peripheral portion of the substrate W held by the substrate holder 3. The pressing pad 50 includes an elastic member 55 having a pressing surface 55a configured to press the polishing tool 23 against the peripheral portion of the substrate W and a support member 56 configured to support the elastic member 55. The support member 56 has a recess 57 formed in a front surface 56a of the support member 56, the elastic member 55 being capable of entering the recess 57.
Polishing apparatus and pressing pad for pressing polishing tool
A polishing apparatus which can keep a width of a polishing tool constant when a peripheral portion of a substrate is polished by the polishing tool is disclosed. The polishing apparatus includes a substrate holder 3 configured to hold a substrate W and to rotate the substrate W, and a pressing pad 50 configured to press a polishing tool 23 against a peripheral portion of the substrate W held by the substrate holder 3. The pressing pad 50 includes an elastic member 55 having a pressing surface 55a configured to press the polishing tool 23 against the peripheral portion of the substrate W and a support member 56 configured to support the elastic member 55. The support member 56 has a recess 57 formed in a front surface 56a of the support member 56, the elastic member 55 being capable of entering the recess 57.
POLISHING DEVICE
A polishing device is provided with an expandable or contractible polishing body. The polishing device is further provided with a polishing mechanism that includes: a pressing force applying mechanism that applies a pressing force to the polishing body; and a supporting body that supports the pressing force applying mechanism. Moreover, the pressing force applying mechanism is configured to include an advancing or retracting section capable of advancing or retracting, and a swinging section provided in a swingable manner to a tip of the advancing or retracting section, the tip facing the polishing body.

In a sanding machine for sanding/finishing panels made of wood, metal or the like, an abrasive belt is moved so as to cause it to come into contact with a panel by a plurality of thrust elements, which are distributed inside the abrasive belt, and are moved perpendicularly to the panel by respective actuator cylinders, each of which has an output rod which is moveable between a lowered operating position and a raised rest position under the thrust of a pressurised gas supplied in a continuous manner to an upper chamber of the actuator cylinder and in a selective manner to a lower chamber of the actuator cylinder itself.
SANDING MACHINE FOR THE SANDING/FINISHING PANELS MADE OF WOOD, METAL, OR THE LIKE
In a sanding machine for sanding/finishing panels made of wood, metal or the like, an abrasive belt is moved so as to cause it to come into contact with a panel by a plurality of thrust elements, which are distributed inside the abrasive belt, and are moved perpendicularly to the panel by respective actuator cylinders, each of which has an output rod which is moveable between a lowered operating position and a raised rest position under the thrust of a pressurised gas supplied in a continuous manner to an upper chamber of the actuator cylinder and in a selective manner to a lower chamber of the actuator cylinder itself.
Grinding or sanding machine
A grinding or sanding machine for grinding or sanding a surface of a workpiece includes a transportation device for transporting a work piece, a revolving grinding or sanding belt, and at least one pressure beam for exerting a pressure toward the transportation device. A plate is provided that is movable in a plane perpendicular to the direction in which pressure is exerted. The plate is disposed between the belt and the pressure beam. A drive device randomly moves the plate in plate movement directions in terms of either or both direction and speed.

A grinding or sanding machine for grinding or sanding a surface of a workpiece includes a transportation device for transporting a work piece, a revolving grinding or sanding belt, and at least one pressure beam for exerting a pressure toward the transportation device. The invention concerns a sanding arrangement for a sanding machine consisting of a sanding machine roller (1) and a sanding belt (3), wherein the sanding belt (3) is arranged on the sanding machine roller (1), wherein the sanding belt (3) is arranged rotatingly between the sanding machine roller (1) and a further sanding machine roller, wherein a material web (2) having an abrasive side (4) and a less abrasive side (5) is arranged between the sanding belt (3) and the sanding machine roller (1), wherein the abrasive side (4) is aligned with the sanding machine roller (1) and the less abrasive side (5) is aligned with the sanding belt (3).
