SHIELD ASSEMBLY FOR POWER TOOL
A shield assembly includes a guard collar and a guard member. The guard collar is disposed around a neck of a gear case of a power tool and includes a first engagement interface. The first engagement interface extends along an outer perimeter of the guard collar and defines a circumferential recess. The guard member includes a second engagement interface for removably engaging with the first engagement interface to secure the guard member to the guard collar. The second engagement interface includes a circumferential engagement member for mating with the circumferential recess of the first engagement interface. The guard member includes a body portion for at least partially surrounding a working member of the power tool.
Sliding ring for a grinding device and method for producing the sliding ring
A sliding ring for a grinding device consisting of a grinding element and a hood covering the grinding element and a sliding ring attachable to the side of the hood facing a surface to be machined, the sliding ring having a sliding surface provided for sliding on the surface to be machined, the sliding ring consisting of at least one elastic component and a sliding component, the sliding surface being formed on the sliding component and the elastic component being arranged on the side of the sliding component opposite the sliding surface.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR CLEANING SURFACES
Systems and apparatus are provided for polishing and grinding glass, stone, or other hard surfaces safely and cleanly. The apparatus presented comprises a mounting plate to be mounted to a rotary grinder, a cowl which may be easily attached to and removed from the mounting plate, and which comprises components to enable safe polishing and grinding of hard surfaces by capturing particulates produced by the grinding. A user may use the apparatus to clean and/or polish hard surfaces without creating a difficult-to-clean and dusty work environment, offering benefits to cleanliness, efficiency of work, and health and safety. The present invention solves problems with the currently available systems and apparatuses for polishing and grinding glass, stone, or other hard surfaces.
Fully rotatable grinder guard assembly and method for making same
A fully rotatable guard assembly (200) for use with a tool having a rotating disc includes at least one rotatable bearing (215, 223) for positioning on a shaft behind a rotating disc (207). A shield (203) works with the rotatable bearing (215, 223) for preventing sparks or other debris from being projected toward a user. A brake lever (241) is attached to the shield (203) for allowing the user to position the shield (203) at a predetermined position in relation to the rotating disc. The shield (203) is configured to cover approximately one-half () of the rotating disc (207) such that the position of the shield (203) can be easily rotated through use of the brake lever (241) for enabling the user to move the shield (203) such that the rotating disc (207) can access a workpiece.
TRIMMING TOOL AND METHOD OF USE
An example trimming tool includes a floating base having a first side and an opposite, second side, a first rail, and a second rail. At least the second side of the floating base, the first rail and the second rail define a workspace having a first opening and a second opening. The trimming tool also includes a milling apparatus, attached to the floating base, having a base on the first side of the floating base and a milling head on the second side of the floating base. The milling head is spring loaded. The floating base and milling apparatus are configured to remove at least a portion of a foam layer in the workspace.
DUST COLLECTOR FOR AN ANGLE GRINDER
A dust collector for an angle grinder, comprising a collector body for covering a circular grinding wheel, and a sealing element extending along an outer periphery (U) of the collector body for at least partially sealing the collector body against a surface to be machined by means of the grinding wheel, and comprising a suction connection, by way of which material removed from the surface can be suction out of the collector body. In an axial direction with respect to the axis of rotation (R) of the grinding wheel, the sealing element is spring-mounted in the collector body by means of at least one spring element.
Reversible lever for a guard assembly for a power tool
A stop lever is provided for a power tool having a gear case and a guard member. The reversible stop lever is coupled to the gear case via a fastener. The stop lever includes a first arm and a second arm, and the fastener is removable to position the stop lever such that the first arm or the second arm of the stop lever engages the guard collar. The first arm includes a first surface and a second surface that are angled such that the guard collar can be rotated in a one direction without actuation of the second arm, but not in the opposite direction. The second arm of the stop lever includes surfaces that are angled to prevent rotation of the guard collar in either direction unless the second arm is actuated about the fastener.
Trowel-Grinder-Polisher Machines
Disclosed is a concrete floor trowel machine of multiple blades with added floor polishing jacket or attachment. It saves expense and time associated with the use of a separate trowel and a polisher in consecutive order, often a day apart. Furthermore, disclosed is a blade replacement polisher disk with metallic hook-and-loop attached steel wool polisher puck, which is the loop component of that means of attachment. Means of slurry feed and suction removal to said puck is also disclosed, whereas said puck may rotate free or by planetary. Said pucks may be attached to blades. Safety cage and slurry splash cover supplement the machine. Removable caster legs are added to ease moving the off-use machine. Disclosed as well are robotic polisher-grinder modules in tandem or in train with changeable trowel-polisher modular inserts with electrical motors and power cable and water hose reels to be serviced from a distance, remotely controlled.
GRINDER
A grinder may include a motor; a spindle to which a grinding wheel is attached; bevel gears configured to transmit rotation of the motor to the spindle; a motor housing which houses the motor; a gear housing attached to a front side of the motor housing and housing the bevel gears; a spindle case attached to a lower side of the gear housing and rotatably supporting the spindle; a wheel cover attached to the spindle case and covering an outside of at least a part of the grinding wheel; and a stopper configured to prohibit removal of the wheel cover, wherein the stopper may be fastened together with the spindle case by a screw which fastens the spindle case to the gear housing.
Hand-Held Power Tool
A hand-held power tool, more particularly angle grinder, includes a cooling unit for cooling the hand-held power tool, a machine housing for receiving the cooling unit, and an air inlet opening for admitting an air flow. The hand-held power tool has a dust protection unit for reducing, especially without using a filter, dust particles in the air flow.
