POLE SANDER
A pole sander is provided including an elongate body having a first end and a second end, an electric motor, and a sanding head attached via a pivot mechanism to the first end of the elongate body. The sanding head includes a hood including a plate and a peripheral wall formed on the underside of the plate around an edge of the plate; an output spindle that projects from the hood and is rotatably driven by the electric motor around a rotational axis; and a brush ring mounted on the underside of the plate adjacent the edge of the plate inside of the peripheral wall. The brush ring is attached to the plate via a spring comprising at least one of a leaf spring or a wave spring.
POLE SANDER
A pole sander is provided including an elongate body including a passageway for passage of air, an electric motor, and a sanding head attached via a pivot mechanism to a first end of the elongate body. The sanding head includes a hood including a plate and a sidewall to form a chamber, an output spindle projecting from the hood and rotatably driven by the electric motor, and a tubular passage including a first end forming an opening and a second end coupled to an aperture formed through the plate. A flexible pipe is disposed between the passageway at the first end of the elongate body and the opening of the tubular passage to fluidly connect the passageway to the chamber. The tubular passage is oriented at least partially around a portion of the output spindle in a turning direction of the output spindle and extending angularly from the plate.
POLE SANDER
A pole sander is provided including an elongate body having a longitudinal axis, and a sanding head attached via a pivot mechanism to a first end of the elongate body. The sanding head includes a hood including a plate and a sidewall to form a chamber, an output spindle projecting through the hood into the chamber, and an electric motor mounted on the hood and configured to rotatably drive the output spindle about a rotational axis. The pivot mechanism allows the sanding head to pivot around a pivot axis that intersects the sanding head forward of at least one of a centre of gravity of the sanding head or the rotational axis of the output spindle relative to the elongate body when the longitudinal axis of the elongate body is located parallel to the plane of the plate.
POLE SANDER
A handheld pole sander is provided including an elongate body having two ends, the elongate body including a first pole and a second pole made partially of electrically conductive material and capable of sliding in and out of each other in a telescopic manner the first pole and second pole are made from electrically conductive material. An electric motor electrically controlled by control electronics is provided, and a sanding head is attached via a pivot mechanism to a first end of the elongate body. At least one seal is located between overlapping parts of the first pole and second pole. The seal includes an electrically conductive material and provides an electrical connection between the first pole and second pole. Alternatively, at least one electrical contact is provided between the first pole and second pole to provide an electrical connection between the first pole and second pole.
ELECTRIC GRINDING MACHINE
An electric grinding machine includes a spindle to be driven with a motor; a grinding disc attached to the spindle; a cover covering the grinding disc; a window disposed on the cover to expose an outer circumference of the grinding disc; a hinge mechanism joining the window to the cover so that the window freely moves between an opened position and a closed position, said hinge mechanism having a rotational axis disposed on the cover; a gate protruding from the window and having a cylindrical portion concentrical to the rotational axes; a hallowed portion formed in the gate, said hallowed portion forming a passage opening between the cover and the cylindrical portion when the window is closed; a slider disposed on the cover, said slider configured to pass through the passage opening to hold the window in the closed position; and a piston spring urging the slider toward the window.
MOBILE MACHINE TOOL FOR MACHINING A SURFACE
A mobile machine tool for processing a surface of a workpiece or a room, wherein the machine tool includes a working device with a plate tool for processing the surface and a drive motor for driving the plate tool, which tool has a processing surface assigned to processing a workpiece and a machine side opposite to the processing surface, wherein intake air inflow openings are arranged on the surface to be processed for suctioning the processing surface onto the surface to be processed, which openings are flow-connected to at least one intake air outflow opening arranged on the plate tool away from the processing surface, wherein the plate tool includes at least one additional air inflow opening for the inflow of additional air, which is flow-connected to at least one additional air outflow opening arranged away from the processing surface, and wherein the machine tool includes an intake device for generating an intake air flow and/or a negative pressure at the at least one intake air outflow opening and the at least one additional air outflow opening.
MOBILE MACHINE TOOL WITH MOVABLY MOUNTED TOOL
A mobile machine tool for coating and/or abrasive machining of a surface of a workpiece or a room using a working device which is mobile with respect to the surface and which includes a tool receptacle for a work tool driven or drivable by a drive motor for machining the surface and/or a coating device with a coating tool for coating the surface. The working device has a guide device having at least one guide contour, particularly a guide surface, for guiding along the surface, wherein the work tool or the coating tool is mounted for moving with respect to the guide device.

A power tool includes a housing. A motor is housed in the housing. A platen is driven by the motor. The housing includes a first housing part, a second housing part and a third housing part. The housing defines a battery receptacle portion configured to receive a removable battery pack which powers the motor. Each of the first housing part, the second housing part and the third housing part form part of the battery receptacle portion.

A sliding ring for a grinding device consisting of a grinding element and a hood covering the grinding element and a sliding ring attachable to the side of the hood facing a surface to be machined, the sliding ring having a sliding surface provided for sliding on the surface to be machined, the sliding ring consisting of at least one elastic component and a sliding component, the sliding surface being formed on the sliding component and the elastic component being arranged on the side of the sliding component opposite the sliding surface.
SPINDLE BEARING COOLING ARRANGEMENT IN AN ABRADING APPARATUS
An arrangement for cooling a spindle bearing or bearings of an abrading apparatus with rotating abrading members is disclosed. This is premised on arranging in the a housing of the abrading apparatus conduits which extend from a spindle bearing chamber wall of the housing to an inner suction chamber wall of the housing. Via such conduits, hot air may be expelled from a spindle bearing chamber of the housing as an overpressure in front of a protruding balancer element of a rotating shaft balancer is discharged from the spindle bearing chamber via a conduit into a suction chamber. Cool air may be conveyed from a suction chamber into the spindle bearing chamber as an underpressure behind the protruding balancer element draws in air from the suction chamber via the conduit to the spindle bearing chamber.
