A vise includes a stationary jaw at one end of a rail and including a moveable jaw member having a clamping surface, and a lever having a cam at one end engaged with the jaw member; and a moveable jaw on the rail and including a moveable member engaging with a limit member at the other end of the rail; a jaw element having one end secured to the moveable member and having a clamping surface at the other end, an internal moveable wedge secured to the clamping surface of the jaw element and having first and second inclined surfaces; two opposite arms pivotably secured to the moveable member wherein one ends of the arms contact each other and engage with the first and second inclined surfaces respectively, and each arm has a cavity on an outer edge; and two urging blocks complimentarily engaging the arms respectively.

QUICK CONNECTOR

A quick connector for connecting two sections together. The sections have a first end and a second end. A body member is configured to be mounted to the first section at the first end. The body member partially extends from the first end and is configured for insertion into the second end of the second section. A locking member is mounted for movement with respect to the body member between a locked and unlocked position. The locking member engages the second section when in the locked position locking the first and second sections together, the locking member disengages from the second section when in the unlocked position unlocking the first and second sections.

Straight edge clamp

The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The straight edge clamp body includes at least two sections that are hinged together to allow the sections to be folded upon one another when not in use and unfolded when in use.

Quick clamp pipe vise and method

A pipe clamp has a base with a fixed jaw and a beam extending from the base. A movable jaw member is slidably mounted on the beam. The movable jaw member includes a movable jaw disposed opposite the fixed jaw. A pivotable handle is mounted to the movable jaw member and a clamping mechanism is connected to the pivotable handle and operated by the pivotable handle to move the movable jaw relative to the fixed jaw. A latch secures the pivotable handle in any of a plurality of positions. A tripod stand may be provided for supporting the pipe clamp, the tripod having a multi-compartment storage spreader.

An improved ratcheting clamp is a clamp with an improved design for clamping and holding work pieces to be joined together at 90 degrees or other angles such as in welding or carpentry operations, by handling the clamp with one hand and allowing the free hand to handle the work pieces instead of requiring two hands to operate the clamp. The clamp uses a cam and torsion spring to keep constant pressure of one work piece against the other work piece.

CLAMPING APPARATUS

The present disclosure relates to a clamp having first and second body portions defining corresponding first and second mutually opposed engagement formations. The first and second body portions are movable relative to each other to displace the first and second engagement formations towards and away from one another. An actuator is provided for displacing the first and second engagement formations towards one another. The actuator includes a cam movably coupled to one of the first and second body portions and a cam follower coupled to the other of the first and second body portions. The cam has a cam surface for cooperating with the cam follower.

The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.

Pallet for transporting electrical connectors
10404027 · 2019-09-03 · ·

A pallet, manufacturing system, and method for transporting and assembling different electrical connectors are provided. The pallet includes first and second jaw assemblies spaced apart from a connector support. The jaw assemblies include jaw plates with gripping edges that form a contoured opening therebetween. As the jaw assemblies move toward one another, dimensions of the contoured opening decrease such that the gripping edges contact and grip an electrical connector placed in the contoured opening. The jaw assemblies are connected to each other by a synchronization device that synchronizes motion of the jaw assemblies and centers the jaw assemblies about an alignment point on the pallet. The pallet accommodates a number of different sizes and/or types of electrical connectors.
