Method and apparatus for securing objects to a work surface
An adjustable clamping assembly for securing an object (such as, for example, a board or other workpiece) to a work surface (such as, for example, a work bench or work table). A rigid rod member has a bent base section, as well as a clamping shoulder surface disposed at its distal end. A clamping head is slidably disposed along a portion of the length of the rigid rod member, and can be selectively secured in a place.
ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING FASTENING MECHANISMS
An attachment assembly for securing party decorations to support structures. The attachment assembly includes a clamp device to attach the attachment assembly to a support structure and one or more fastening mechanisms configured with the clamp device to secure party decorations. A first fastening mechanism includes a through-hole passing through the clamp device and a second fastening mechanism includes a rotatable clamp member biased against an outer surface of the clamp device. Party decorations, such as balloon tie strings, garland, streamers, ribbons, etc., are secured to the clamp device using the fastening mechanisms and the clamp device is securable to a support structure such as a railing, fence, table, etc.
SKI HOLDER FOR WAXING AND EDGE TRIMMING
The present utility model belongs to the field of repair and maintenance of sporting goods, and particularly to a ski holder for waxing and edge trimming which includes a holder body, a fixing member, and a fastening member. The holder body is provided with placement positions for placing a ski and a fixing position for fixing the holder body; the holder body further includes a movable piece, the movable piece is arranged between adjacent placement positions, and the movable piece can move toward the placement positions on both sides thereof. One end of the fixing member passes through the holder body and is exposed at the fixing position, and the fixing member is moved to cooperate with the fixing position to fix the holder body. One end of the fastening member passes through the holder body and is exposed at the first placement position, and the fastening member is moved to cooperate with the placement position to fasten the ski. In the present utility model, the ski in any placement position can be fixed through the short-stroke movement of the fastening member, thereby realizing quick fastening of snowboard and ski. The ski holder provides three placement modes of vertical placement, inclined placement, and horizontal placement, facilitating the maintenance of ski including waxing and edge trimming.
Medical fastening device and medical device
a medical fastening device for an electromagnetic sensor with a clamping element and with a sensor mount and to a medical device with such a fastening device, with an electromagnetic sensor and with a medical instrument. The clamping element has a counterpiece and a pressing piece movable relative to the clamping element, wherein the counterpiece has a lateral opening, which frees a free mounting area, which is itself at least partially enclosed by the counterpiece in a frame-like manner. The counterpiece has a depression, which points towards the mounting area and is arranged opposite the pressing piece, wherein the counterpiece is provided with an opening arranged opposite the depression. The pressing piece is movable in the opening in the direction of the depression of the counterpiece.
Lawnmower blade lock
Method and apparatus for a blade lock for use with a lawnmower. The blade lock includes an adjustable intermediate shaft having a hook-like component on one end for holding the blade of the lawnmower and a clamp-like member on the opposite end for attachment to the deck of the lawnmower. The shaft portion includes a plurality of fasteners which allow the shaft to be adjustable in length.
Seismic sway brace fitting
A seismic sway brace fitting for a seismic brace includes a first jaw defining a threaded opening configured to receive a fastener to secure the seismic sway brace fitting to the seismic brace, and a second jaw. A pin connects the first and second jaws to one another. The first and second jaws define a space configured to receive an end portion of the seismic brace. The threaded opening is aligned with the space such that the fastener extends into the space to engage the end portion of the seismic brace when the fastener is received in the threaded opening to secure the seismic brace to the sway brace fitting. The first jaw includes at least one brace bearing surface configured to engage an end of the seismic brace to inhibit the rotation of the first jaw relative to the second jaw.
SCREW CLAMP
A screw clamp has two clamping arms, between which a workpiece is clamped. In a clamping process, at least one of the clamping arms is moved by an axial movement distance by a clamping unit such that a clamping force acting against the workpiece is built up, which clamping unit can be manually rotationally actuated about an axis of rotation. The clamping unit is a threaded drive containing a radially outer adjustment sleeve which has an internal screw thread and a radially inner threaded stroke element, the external screw thread of which is in thread engagement with the adjustment sleeve internal screw thread and which can be brought into force-transmitting connection with the movable clamping arm. In the clamping process, the adjustment sleeve is rotationally actuated, whereby the threaded stroke element, together with the clamping arm connected thereto, is moved against the workpiece by the axial movement distance.
Dismantling device for frame of PV module
The disclosed embodiments relate to a dismantling device configured for a frame of a PV module. The dismantling device includes a connection portion, a first holding portion, and a second holding portion. The first holding portion is connected to the connection portion and configured to press against one of an inner wall and outer wall of the frame. The second holding portion is slidably disposed on the connection portion and movably closer to or away from the first holding portion along a sliding direction. The second holding portion is configured to press against the other one of the inner wall and the outer wall so as to clamp the frame with the first holding portion and to distort the frame.
NOVEL CLAMP DESIGNS WITH INTEGRATED FEATURES AND METHODS RELATING THERETO
Clamp designs and methods relating thereto for working on one or more of workpieces are described. An exemplar clamp design includes a unitary u-shaped frame having a bight portion flanked by multiple jaw portions, all of which are designed to secure one or more workpieces (e.g., cabinet face frame). The u-shaped frame, at any of its portions, has disposed thereon at least one work window that provides access to one or more secured workpieces. Further, one exemplar clamp design provides a work guide element rotatably coupled to the u-shaped frame, disposed adjacent to the work window, and having defined therein a guide aperture. In, one rotated, work position of the work guide, the guide aperture allows a tool to access and/or work, through the guide aperture and the work window, on a desired location on the workpiece.
Modular Single-Handed Clamping Apparatus and Method
