Securing apparatus for securing a valve lever in a set position
A securing apparatus for securing a valve lever in a set position comprises a base body; a sliding piece; and a screw element, wherein the base body and the sliding piece each have a clamping surface; wherein the sliding piece is displaceably supported at the base body along a longitudinal axis; and wherein the screw element is rotatably supported at the base body and has a thread that is in engagement with a mating thread of the sliding piece so that a position of the sliding piece relative to the base body along the longitudinal axis is restricted to a maximum spacing between the clamping surfaces that can be changed by a rotation of the screw element in order to clamp the valve lever between the clamping surfaces. Depending on a rotational position of the screw element, a blocking receiver formed at the screw element is aligned with a blocking receiver formed at the base body so that a blocking element, in particular a cable, can engage into both blocking receivers in order to block the screw element in this rotational position.
Clamping device for clamping a workpiece and processing table with a clamping device
The invention relates to a clamping device for clamping a workpiece, comprising a clamping element for clamping the workpiece; a rod having multiple radial slits disposed one behind the other in longitudinal direction of the rod, which each only extend along a partial circumferential area of the rod; a receiving device for receiving the clamping element and the rod; a longitudinal guide, within which the rod is disposed rotatably between a latching position and a release position; a locking mechanism disposed on the longitudinal guide, which does not engage with any of the radial slits in the release position such that the rod is movable in axial direction within the longitudinal guide, and engages with at least one of the radial slits in the latching position such that the rod is fixed in axial direction within the longitudinal guide. Furthermore, the invention relates to a processing table with a clamping device.
Bone, treat and chew toy holding arrangement for pets
An enclosed gripping arrangement for safely, securely and adjustably supporting a bone, treat or chew toy for a pet, comprising: an elongated enclosure housing defined by a wall, the elongated enclosure housing having a 1.sup.st adjustment end and a 2.sup.nd base end, the base end having a base arrangement therewith, the elongated enclosure housing enclosing an elongated adjustable first shaft extending through the 1.sup.st adjustment end, and an elongated second shaft extending within the 2.sup.nd base end from a base thereof. An opposed arrangement of gripping jaws comprising a first gripping jaw on a distal end of the elongated adjustable 1.sup.st shaft, and a second gripping jaw arranged on a distal end of the elongated adjustable second shaft, to define a gripping zone therebetween. An opening through the wall of the enclosure housing is longitudinally off-set from the gripping zone of the opposed arrangement of gripping jaws, so as to enable a bone, treat or chew toy to be tightly gripped within the elongated housing and extend through the wall of the housing of the elongated housing to provide a safely contained gripping arrangement to support a chewing treat to a pet.
Multi-purpose utility clamp
Embodiments of a multi-purpose utility clamp may include a component engagement member having a clamp head and a handle. A guide arm is operatively connected to the component engagement member at a first end of the guide arm. A first post is operatively connected to a second end of the guide arm to move linearly relative to the guide arm. A second post at an end of the support post is disposed generally perpendicular to the first post and has a first end connected to the first post and a second end, distal the first end, and the second end is disposed opposite the clamping head. The second post has a generally trapezoidal cross-sectional shape along a length thereof between the first end and the second end, and the second post is configured to be inserted into a channel having a corresponding trapezoidal shape and formed in an auxiliary component to be clamped to another component.
BAR CLAMP WITH WORKPIECE STABILIZATION
Provided is a clamp that includes a rail with a track region, a first clamping jaw that is to be maintained at a first clamping location along the rail while a plurality of edge-aligned objects are clamped together. A second clamping jaw is adjustable along the track region of the rail and is to be maintained at a second clamping location along the rail on an opposite side of the plurality of edge-aligned objects from the first clamping jaw. A clamping mechanism urges a face of the second clamping jaw toward the first clamping jaw to impart a compressive force on the plurality of edge-aligned objects. A caul extends between the first and second clamping jaws and exerts a compressive force on the plurality of edge-aligned objects disposed between the caul and the rail.
Multifaceted vise-jaw cover
A firearm maintenance aid can include a firearm vise and a firearm support device. Firearm vise can include vise jaws, a threaded rod connecting vise jaws together, and jaw pin holes in each jaw, the holes extending from an outer surface of a jaw through to an inner surface of each jaw, wherein the holes in the first jaw align with the holes in the second jaw. Firearm support device can include a clamping portion and a supporting portion. The clamping portion can be clamped between the jaws of the firearm vise, can include two parallel clamping faces, and can define vise pin holes that align with the jaw pin holes. The supporting portion can be located opposite the clamping portion and can include a cylindrical shaft. Vise pins can be received by the jaw pin holes and vise pin holes to fixedly connect the support device to the vise.
DEVICE FOR CLAMPING A PIECE OF FORMWORK, FORMWORK FOR MAKING A CONCRETE SLAB, AND A METHOD OF MAKING A CONCRETE SLAB
A device for clamping a piece of formwork includes a bar having an end for attachment to a body. The device includes a jaw mounted on the bar and for receiving the piece of formwork, the jaw being movable along the bar.
Contact surface adapter and components for artificial prosthesis installation clamp
In the use of devices and methods for measuring applied pressure on an article, such as a patella construct during a surgical procedure, differently sized and configured clamp bushing adapters can be interchangeably employed with, and removably secured to, a clamp stem to adapt to the relative sizes of objects being clamped. Embodiments of an installation cap can also be provided to assist with proper setup and operation by, for example, removably covering spike elements associated with a working surface of embodiments of the device.
Bar clamp
A bar clamp has a slide bar supporting a movable jaw assembly. The slide bar is supported in a fixed jaw assembly. The fixed jaw assembly includes a drive mechanism for moving the slide bar relative to the fixed jaw assembly. Mechanisms for expanding the capacity of the bar clamp including the use of straps and two slide bars. Specialized jaws are provided where the jaws may be removable from the jaw assemblies. Additional clamping jaws are provided in addition to the movable and fixed jaw assemblies for varying the clamping force applied to a workpiece.
Solid Surface Clamp
A solid surface clamp that has a top jaw and bottom jaw, along with alignment structures is disclosed. The clamp includes a top jaw, a bottom jaw, a bolt attached to the bottom jaw and slideably received through the top jaw, and a nut. The bolt has an alignment cutout, a threaded portion extending from the top jaw and defines a bolt longitudinal axis. The nut is threaded onto the threaded portion of the bolt and transitions the clamp from an open position to a clamping position. The top jaw further includes an alignment shaft that contacts the alignment cutout and maintains the top jaw and bottom jaw substantially fixed relative to each other about the bolt longitudinal axis. The alignment cutout moves relative to the alignment shaft in the direction of the bolt longitudinal axis when the clamp transitions from an open position to a clamping position.
