Shaft locking mechanism
A retrievable shaft locking mechanism for axial and rotational locking on smooth round shafts with a lever providing tensioning of the clamping ring and vectorially supporting a clamping action through a horizontal dowel pin.
Modular Single-Handed Clamping Apparatus and Method
Disclosed herein is a clamping apparatus that is designed to be modular to facilitate use in numerous applications. In particular the modularity is fast and easy to manually perform without the need of tools. This modularity is facilitated by elongated elements which are configured to resist undesired removal, but facilitate desired removal. The modularity of the clamping apparatus is facilitated with the use of many interchangeable shoes and a variety of structural jaws. The clamping apparatus may be operated with the option of using a power tool, hand tool, or handle elongated element and may be configured to facilitate single hand operation.
Aerial Lift Toolbox
The Trapdoor Clamp is the only product of its kind that allows individuals to safely place tools onto a highly adjustable platform to improve functionality of modern aerial lifts. The Trapdoor Clamp is uniquely designed with durable materials like rubber and metal to withstand force and ensure sustainability during operation. The clamp includes a channel having three sides defining open ends thereto, a trapdoor configured to create an open ended box with the three sided channel, a hinge configured to lengthwise join the trapdoor with the three sided channel, a trapdoor extension from the trapdoor, a stationary extension from the three sided channel configured to be in an opposing relation with the stationary extension and a fastener configured to put the trapdoor extension and the stationary extension in a compression.
Clamping tool
A clamping tool (1) is disclosed suitable for securing underwater protective shields, jackets and covers. A system is also described comprising the clamping tool and a protective shield, jacket or cover. The clamping tool (1) comprises a clamp (2), a jaw attachment (12) and a plurality of locking bolts (46). The clamp (2) comprises a first claw (20), a second claw (22), and a pivot (3). The jaw attachment (12) comprises a first tube (40) connected to the first claw (20) and a second tube (42) connected to the second claw (22). The first tube (40) and the second tube (42) comprise a plurality of holes (44) for receiving the plurality of locking bolts (46) and the pivot (3) is configured to transform a rotational torque applied by a user into a clamping pressure of the jaw attachment (12).
BOX CLAMP AND CONNECTION BOX
A box clamp comprising a frame member, a clamping screw passing through a portion of the frame member, a nut plate mounted on the clamping screw and movable along the clamping screw when the clamping screw is rotated, and a rocker clamp movably coupled to the frame wherein the nut plate acts on the rocker clamp to raise and extend the rocker clamp from a stowed orientation to a deployed orientation upon rotation of the clamping screw.
Vice
A vice including two clamping gaps (10, 20). A first body (1) includes a first jaw (11) and a second body (2) includes a second jaw (21), between which is formed a first clamping gap (10). A third body (3) is connected by an axis (9) to the first body (1), wherein the third body (3) includes a third jaw (31), which is adapted to rotate around the axis (9). The first body (1) includes a fourth jaw (41) opposite the third jaw (31), wherein between the third jaw (31) and the fourth jaw (41) is formed a second clamping gap (20).
Hinge clamp for a bicycle frame and other structures
A hinge clamp adapted to clamp a hinge assembly with an eyelet to position and protect a retraction spring, a counter-bore in the V-plate to accommodate the spring, and a finger loop to position the user's finger during operation. In some aspects the clamp may have a removable bolt-tightening handle, the release of which enables the handle to be removed to avoid damage and to prevent theft. The handle may be removable over the head of the bolt in a first rotary configuration, and be constrained under the head of the bolt in a second rotary configuration. A hinge clamp with a retained clamp plate that retains the position of the clamp plate near the handle when the hinge clamp is loosened.
TORQUE LIMITING CLAMP ACTUATOR
A clamp includes a jaw assembly, and an actuator device for moving the jaw assembly between clamped and unclamped positions. The actuator device includes a handle, and a keyed shaft coupled to the handle via a spring biased releasable torque transfer mechanism.
Grounding clamps and torque-controlled fasteners
Various implementations of grounding clamps and torque-controlled fasteners are disclosed. The grounding clamps may be used to attach grounding conductors to various structures, such as pipes, conduit, grounding rods etc. The torque-controlled fasteners may use various techniques to control the amount of torque applied to the fasteners used with the grounding clamps described herein.
