Methods and apparatus for a fastener head having a dual zone socket area and a mating driver bit
Methods and apparatus for a fastener head having a dual zone socket area and a mating driver bit according to aspects of the present technology include a fastener configured with driving surfaces adapted to provide enhanced engagement between each other during use. The fastener includes a recessed socket area with a sidewall that has an upper inwardly tapering section and a lower vertical section that extends to the bottom of the recessed socket area. The upper inwardly tapering section of the sidewall may also include an offset relative to the lower vertical section to create asymmetrical driving and removal surfaces. The technology also includes a corresponding mating driver bit configured with mating surfaces to the fastener to provide enhanced engagement between the fastener and mating driver bit. The technology also allows either the fastener or the driving bit to be used with preexisting fasteners and driver bits.
INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES FOR LINEMAN HOT STICKS
A hot stick installation accessory is provided. The accessory includes a cap portion and a moving section. The cap portion has a region that removably holds an electrical coupling component. The moving section slides with respect to the cap portion between an open and a closed position and pivots with respect to the cap portion between a first position and a second position. The moving section includes a threaded member that is engageable by a hook of a hot stick so that rotation of the hot stick, and thus of the hook, results in rotation of the threaded member into threaded engagement with the moving section to move the moving section between the open and closed positions.
Angle screw feeding module
An angle screw feeding device comprises a screw feeding unit, a screw transporting unit, and a screw driving unit. The device is able to be used with small screws. Further, the device is able to perform an automatic screwing action at any selected angles.

SCREW, SCREWDRIVER AND SCREW FASTENING SET
Screw, screwdriver and screw fastening set, the screwdriver (1) comprising a screw engaging configuration (10) with a core (11) surrounded by a number of protruding longitudinal ribs (12) elongated in the longitudinal driver axis (DA) direction and radially distributed around the core (11) in radial symmetry, and wherein successive transversal cross-sections of the core (11), perpendicular to the longitudinal driver axis (DA), have a regular polygonal shape, longitudinal cross-sections of the core (11), coincident with the longitudinal driver axis (DA), have a convex shape, and each protruding longitudinal rib (12) is connected to the core (11) on an edge between two adjacent arched convex surfaces of the core, a central portion (13) of each side of the regular polygonal shape being exposed for coupling into a complementary flat surface of a driver engaging configuration of the screw, providing friction-retention between the screw and the screwdriver.
Positioner, guide and/or magazine for screws and nails
An aspect of some embodiments of the current invention relates to a positioner for holding one or more fasteners (e.g. screws and/or nails) which allows a user to push the fasteners out directly into a target material. For example, a user may locate the positioner over a location on the target material and/or drive the fastener through the positioner into the target. In some embodiments, the positioner includes multiple fasteners, for example the positioner may be used as a magazine of fasteners and/or a storage box for fasteners. Optionally, the positioner includes a hard frame and/or a soft passage holding the fastener. For example, a fastener is inserted into the top of the passage and driven (e.g. pushed, hammered and/or screwed) through, out the bottom of the passage into the target. Optionally, multiple positioners may be arranged along a guide.

Male fastener extractor device
A fastener extractor device for removing fasteners and disengaging the extractor from the so engaged fastener. The extractor includes a threaded main body with a hex drive head end portion and oppositely disposed elongated tool engagement hex body with multiple bracing sidewalls with independent contoured fastener engagement channels for fastener insertion and continued rotational removal. A tubular hex surface extractor nut is threadably disposed on the main body member for reversed thread rotation advancement to physically disengage the tool engagement body from the removed fastener.
Anti-Slip Fastener Driver
An anti-slip fastener driver includes a body, a driving portion and a twisting portion arranged between the body and the driving portion. The driving portion has a plurality of driving recesses and a plurality of sharp corners. A cross sectional area of one end of the twisting portion adjacent to the driving portion is less than that of the other end of the twisting portion adjacent to the body. The twisting portion has a plurality of twisting surfaces formed around an outer periphery thereof in the radial direction of the rotating axis, Each twisting surface has a short side and a long side. A projection line of the short side is not parallel to that of the long side on the reference plane.
Anti-slip Fastener Remover Tool
An anti-slip fastener remover tool includes a torque-tool body, a plurality of paired engagement features, and a plurality of intersection points. The plurality of paired engagement features that grips the lateral surface of the stripped fastener head is radially positioned around a rotation axis of the torque-tool body. The torque-tool body is inwardly extended from an outer wall of the torque-tool body to the plurality of paired engagement features. Each paired engagement feature comprises a first engagement feature and a second engagement feature. The first engagement feature and the second engagement feature each comprise a bracing section, a cavity section, and a connector section. The cavity sections of the first and second engagement features are adjacently connected to each other. The bracing sections of the first and second engagement feature are oppositely positioned about the cavity sections of the first and second engagement features.
