A finger ratchet tool includes a body having a top part on the top thereof, and a ratchet device connected to the underside of the body. The top part includes a tapered face in the outer periphery thereof. Two flanges extend radially from the top part. A connection portion extends from the body. A mounting member has a C-shaped collar which has an opening, and a rod is connected between two ends of the opening. A matching face is defined in the inner periphery of the C-shaped collar. Two recesses are defined in the C-shaped collar and each have two ends. The rod is pivotably connected to the connection portion, and the C-shaped collar is mounted to the top part to match the matching face with the tapered face. The flanges are engaged with the recesses.

The present invention relates to a device for mounting a tool on a hand of a user, the device comprises a receiving part for attachment of a tool and at least one mounting member for mounting the device on one or more fingers of the hand of the user, such as two neighbouring fingers, wherein the receiving part is fixed to the mounting member, and the receiving part comprises at least one clamp for clamping a tool to the device, wherein the clamp has a closed position (h2) and an open position (h1) and wherein the clamp is configured to be operable by one or more of the fingers of the same hand the device is mounted on. The invention further relates to a method of mounting a tool in the device, and to the use of the device.

The present invention defines a unique structure and methodology for creating a plurality of configurable and extensible tools that can be affixed to a plurality of digits and equipment to form tool sets for working more easily with objects.

A finger mount system includes a finger mount configured to receive at least a portion of a finger. The finger mount system also includes a tool mount connected to the finger mount and configured to receive a tool. The finger mount system further includes the tool, wherein movement of the finger mount by the finger results in movement of the tool.

The unit is a thimble with screw or wrench head on top of it, see FIG. 1 for illustration.
