An attachment which is detachably attached to an electric hair-cutting device having a blade part, and is selectable between a first use mode in which the attachment is used with a first side of the blade part coming into contact with a skin and a second use mode in which the attachment is used with a second side of the blade part coming into contact with the skin. The attachment includes a comb part disposed around the blade part. The comb part includes at least one first comb having a first skin contact surface coming into contact with the skin when the first use mode is selected, a second skin contact surface coming into contact with the skin when the second use mode is selected, a first hair raising groove formed on the first skin contact surface, and a second hair raising groove formed on the second skin contact surface.

The present invention relates generally to the field of hair care accessories. More specifically, the present invention relates to a hair clipper, cutter or trimer device with a replaceable or interchangeable cover. The cover removably-attaches to the hair clipper and has an opening so that the blades may operate freely and at least one opening in the side walls to provide access to the operational features of the hair clipper. The cover may resemble any vehicle, character, animal, object, item, shape or other themed configuration. In this manner, the clipper can be reconfigured with a plurality of differing appearances, depending on the preferences of the barber or hair stylist or the individual getting a haircut.

Attachment for a personal care device
An attachment for a personal care device, such as a shaving or trimming device, is configured to be releasably coupled to a coupling structure of the personal care device by a coupler. The coupler includes a shaft having at least one coupling recess on the circumferential surface thereof. The coupling recess has a central portion and first and second side portions arranged on opposite sides of the central portion. The coupling recess also includes a sloped surface arranged in at least the central portion. When the attachment is coupled to the coupling structure, the sloped surface is engaged by a spring of the coupling structure. At least one of the first and second side portions of the coupling recess is recessed relative to the sloped surface, seen in a direction parallel to the central axis of the shaft.
BLADE UNIT AND ELECTRIC RAZOR
The present disclosure provides an electric razor that reduces damage to the skin during shaving. Electric razor according to the present disclosure comprises head portion that holds comb-shaped outer blade and mesh-shaped outer blades each extending in a first direction so as to be movable in a second direction intersecting the first direction, comb blade urging members that urge comb-shaped outer blade in the second direction, mesh blade urging members that urge mesh-shaped outer blades in the second direction, and engaging mechanism that, when mesh-shaped outer blades are moved toward unit base against urging force of mesh blade urging members, moves comb-shaped outer blade in a state where comb-shaped outer blade does not project from mesh-shaped outer blades with respect to unit base.
ATTACHMENT COMB AND HAIR CUTTING APPLIANCE
The present disclosure relates to a releasable attachment comb (60) for a blade set (22) of a cutting head (20) of a hair cutting appliance (10), said attachment comb (60) comprising a supporting frame (62) comprising a first lateral grip bar (68), a second lateral grip bar (70), and at least one laterally extending supporting bar (64, 66) arranged between the first lateral grip bar (68) and the second lateral grip bar (70); a plurality of guide teeth (72) that define a skin contact front face (74); a plurality of snap-on mounting elements (78, 80); wherein the snap-on mounting elements (78, 80) are spaced away from the first lateral grip bar (68) and the second lateral grip bar (70); wherein at least one of the snap-on mounting elements (78, 80) is configured as a proximal snap-on mounting element (78) that is arranged on a first, proximal side (84); wherein at least one of the snap-on mounting elements (78, 80) is configured as a distal snap-on mounting element (80) that is arranged on a second, distal side (86); and wherein the at least one proximal snap-on mounting element (78) and the at least one distal snap-on mounting element (80) are arranged to mutually lock therebetween the blade set (22) to attach the attachment comb (60) to the cutting head (20). The present disclosure further relates to a cutting head (20) of a hair cutting appliance (10) that is fitted with a respective attachment comb (60).
HAIR CLIPPING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a hair clipping device (10) which comprises a housing (14), a cutting assembly (16) including a stationary cutting blade (32) and a moveable cutting blade (34), a drive arrangement (42) for driving the moveable cutting blade (34) relative to the stationary cutting blade (32) in an oscillatory movement along a first axis (40), a comb support element (45) for removably attaching a comb attachment (12) with a plurality of comb teeth (50), and an adjustment unit (58) for adjusting the position of the comb attachment (12) relative to the cutting assembly (16), when the comb attachment (12) is attached to the comb support element (45), wherein the adjustment unit (58) is configured to increase a distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) during an extension movement of the adjustment unit (58), and to decrease the distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) during a retraction movement of the adjustment unit (58). The hair clipping device (10) further comprises an end stop element (74) which is configured to prevent a movement of the comb attachment (12) towards the cutting assembly (16) during the retraction movement when a minimal distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) is reached by contacting the comb support element (45). The end stop element (74) is further configured to cause a coupling of the adjustment unit (58) with one of the stationary cutting blade (32) and the moveable cutting blade (34) if the retraction movement of the adjustment unit (58) is continued after the minimal distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) is reached after a contact of the end stop element (74) with the comb support element (45). Said coupling enables an adjustment of the position of the moveable cutting blade (34) relative to the stationary cutting blade (32) along a second axis (56) transverse to the first axis (40) by means of the adjustment unit (58).

ADJUSTABLE SPACING COMB, ADKUSTMENT DRIVE AND HAIR CUTTING APPLIANCE
The present disclosure relates to an adjustment drive (50) for an adjustable spacing comb (26) for a hair cutting appliance (10) and to a hair cutting appliance (10) that is fitted with an adjustable spacing comb (26). The present disclosure further relates to a method for operating an adjustable spacing comb (26) for a hair cutting appliance (10). The adjustment drive (50) comprises an actuator (52) that is configured for actuating a movable comb portion (40) of the adjustable spacing comb (26) with respect to a blade set (16) of the hair cutting appliance (10), and a proximity sensitive or touch sensitive sensor element (64), particularly a gesture control user input interface, wherein the sensor element (64) is configured to detect multi-faceted user inputs (70, 72) applied to the sensor element (64) and to output a user input signal that is derived from the multi-faceted user inputs (70, 72), and wherein the actuator (52) is operated on the basis of the user input signal.
PRESSURE SENSING ELECTRIC SHAVER
An electric shaver having a shaving unit (3) and a sensor (15) with a first sensor unit (16) fixed to a main body (2; 202; 302) and a second sensor unit (17) fixed to a sensor unit carrier (22; 222; 322), for indicating a distance between the sensor units (16, 17). The shaving unit (3) and the sensor unit carrier (22; 222; 322) are suspended to the main body (2; 202; 302) for displacement along a z-axis between a rest position (22) and a pushed-in position (22′) in response to a pushing force exerted onto a shaving face (11) of the shaver (1). The first and second sensor units (16, 17) are located in positions offset from the z-axis over a distance (d) in an x-direction. An anti-tilting guide (24-27; 124; 224, 226; 326, 328) is provided for guiding the sensor unit carrier (22; 222; 322) against tilting about a y-axis.
