10212873 · 2019-02-26 · ·

An agricultural tillage implement has a vertical tillage section and an aerating section behind the vertical tillage section, each extending substantially perpendicular to the pull direction of the implement. Individual vertical tillage elements, such as disc blades, can be indexed with individual rotary tine assemblies of the aerator section so that discrete holes formed by the aerator section are positioned between substantially continuous slits formed by the vertical tillage section. A ground deposit system deposits a component on the ground and may be configured for conducting and depositing a granular component, such as seeds, fertilizers, minerals or the like, or liquid components, such as liquid manure.

Aerator with variable delay of coring head

An aerator with variable delay of the coring head includes a lift/lower control on an aerator control panel that raises and lowers a coring head and starts or discontinues rotation of a coring head crankshaft that reciprocates a plurality of coring tines. A delay timer provides a variable time period between starting to raise or lower the coring head and the rotation of the crankshaft. A switch is provided on the control panel to preset the time period.

GROUND TREATMENT APPARATUS

The invention relates to a ground treatment apparatus for loosening ground, in particular in the case of ground with grass growth, specifically ground of sport or leisure facilities, comprising a support device and a holding device held thereon having a plurality of injection elements, a fluid providing device which is in fluidic connection with the injection elements, as well as a lifting device by way of which the injection elements are insertible into the ground and are extractable therefrom. In order to provide a ground treatment apparatus of that kind, which enables a better loosening of the ground, it is proposed in accordance with the invention that the ground treatment apparatus comprises a plurality of fluid containers which are in fluidic connection with the fluid providing device for acting with fluid, a valve device having a plurality of outlet valves, wherein each fluid container is in a fluidic connection with at least one injection element, which fluidic connection is optionally releasable or blockable by means of a respective outlet valve, and that the ground treatment apparatus comprises a control device which operates the outlet valves to release the respective fluidic connection when the injection elements are inserted into the ground.

Tine holding apparatus and method for aerating soil

An apparatus for retaining soil aerating tines during soil aerating operations comprising a tine holding assembly having a plurality of holes therein, wherein each hole is adapted to hold a soil aerating tine therein, wherein the holes are arranged in a plurality of rows of holes, wherein a plurality of spaces separate adjacent rows of holes, wherein the holes of at least one row of holes are positioned between the holes of at least one other row of holes. The apparatus can have at least one space that is at least twice as wide as at least one other space. The apparatus can further comprise a plurality of tine holding members, wherein each tine holding member comprises at least one row of holes of the plurality of rows of holes. Tines can be inserted into the holes to form a zigzag pattern.

A ground treatment apparatus for loosening the ground, in particular in the case of ground with grass growth, comprising a support device and a holding device that is movably held thereon, on which a plurality of injection elements are held, a lifting device, by way of which the injection elements are insertable into the ground and are extractable therefrom, and a fluid provisioning device that comprises at least one reservoir for fluid, which can be supplied with fluid for intermediate storage and which is directly or indirectly in fluidic connection with a plurality of injection elements. The support device and/or the holding device comprise at least one frame made of interconnected structural elements, wherein the at least one reservoir forms a structural element of the frame.

Core collector

A core collector for collecting aeration cores lifted from a ground surface by a ground aerator machine includes a skid plate having a bottom surface opposite the ground surface and a top surface opposite the bottom surface. The skid plate has a plurality of openings in the skid plate extending between the top surface and the bottom surface at a proximal end of the skid plate. The plurality of openings are spaced apart from each other based on a spacing of extraction tines of the ground aerator machine. The core collector has at least one core clearing member. Aeration cores are deposited directly onto the top surface of the skid plate. The at least one core clearing member is configured to clear the aeration cores from the proximal end of the skid plate toward the distal end of the skid plate.

Mobile soil-working device with protective means

A mobile soil-working device, having a machine frame, a drive for at least one insertion tool that can be moved up and down and inserted into the ground and pulled out again, the insertion tool being in a starting position at a predefined insertion angle before insertion into the ground and when in the ground executing a pivoting movement, which is superposed on the up and down movement, about a first pivot axis in the direction of a first pivot direction owing to the movement of the machine frame in the direction of travel, and having a returning means, which is coupled to the insertion tool and moves the insertion tool back into the starting position after its exit from the ground by pivoting the insertion tool in a second pivoting direction opposite to the first pivoting direction.

Methods and apparatus for aerating turf

A turf aerator is configured with components that allow a user to set a desired turf aeration depth and then automatically adjust hydraulic pressure to produce a proper level of downward pressure into the ground in order to maintain consistent depth penetration with the tines. The turf aerator implements a depth control lever that is operatively connected to a switch that increases or decreases tine depth up or down. Since the desired tine depth is set and the hydraulic pressure is capable of puncturing the ground accordingly, portions of the ground that are relatively harder or softer are still properly penetrated due to the set level of depth. The turf aerator is also configured with a tine housing which shields drive chains from dirt and debris from the aerating, thereby increasing the life of the drive chains.
