A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.

A shaving head for a shaver has a side-cap retainer secured to sides of the shaving head. Each of the retainers has a plurality of legs operable to abut various portions of the shaving head, thereby securing components of the shaving head thereto.

Razor system

A cutting member (1) for a shaving cartridge includes a front side, a back side opposing the front side, and a flat cutting portion (2) with a cutting edge portion (4). Further the cutting member includes a first bent portion (8), an intermediate portion (11), a second bent portion (9) and a base portion (10) that are made out of one single piece of material. The first bent portion is integral with the flat cutting portion. The first bent portion is convex on the back side of the cutting member, and the second bent portion is concave on the back side of the cutting member. The proposed shape of the cutting member resembles an “S” shape or a question mark shape.

Shaving razors and shaving cartridges

A retainer is provided that secures at least one blade within a housing of a shaving blade cartridge. The retainer extends along a pair of side edges of the housing between a front edge of the housing and a rear edge of the housing. The retainer includes an upper end portion and a lower end portion. The lower end portion is connected to the upper end portion by an intermediate portion. The upper end portion includes an edge extending between opposing side edges. The edge includes at least one leg depending therefrom.

The blade housing is configured to accommodate at least one shaving blade such that a width direction of the blade housing is in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the cutting edge and includes an inlet portion, a discharge portion, and a communication portion configured to communicate the inlet portion to the discharge portion. The aid supplying member is configured to deliver a shaving aid to the inlet portion. The shaving aid that is delivered from the aid supplying member is introduced into the inlet portion, passes through the communication portion, and is discharged from the discharge portion.

The receiving member is disposed on a rear surface of the blade housing and includes a receiving valve and a receiving hole formed on one side of the receiving valve. The aid supplying member includes a discharge end configured to discharge the shaving aid to the inlet portion. At least a portion of the discharge end, which is inserted into the receiving hole, is accommodated between the receiving valve and the blade housing.
