Razor cartridges
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a razor cartridge having a blade geometry that is designed to provide a close, comfortable shave. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems and methods of manufacturing these cartridges.
Razor
Embodiments of a razor are disclosed. According to at least one embodiment, a razor includes a handle grippable by a user, a blade housing coupled to an end of the handle, the blade housing accommodating therein one or more blades, a power generation unit mounted in the handle for generating power, a drive transmission unit configured to be driven using the power generated by the power generation unit, and a swing member disposed in front of a foremost blade among the one or more blades, to swing closer to or farther away from the one or more blades according to driving of the drive transmission unit. The razor may be realized in various ways according to embodiments disclosed.
Razor cartridge
The present invention is directed to an arrangement of blades mounted within a razor cartridge. The razor cartridge includes a blade housing; and a plurality of blades including a first blade and a second blade, wherein a thickness of an edge portion of the first blade is less than a thickness of an edge portion of the second blade, and wherein a first span in front of the first blade is less than a second span in front of the second blade.
Flexible Razor Assembly
A flexible razor assembly for shaving contours on a user's body includes a handle that has a blade channel integrated therein. A lever is pivotally coupled to the handle and a blade case is coupled to the lever. The blade case is positionable in an open position and a closed position and the blade case is bendable to conform to curvature of a user's body. A blade is provided and the blade is comprised of a bendable material. The blade is positionable in the blade case having a cutting edge of the blade being exposed for shaving the user's body.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge comprising a housing extending along a longitudinal axis. The housing comprises a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side. A cutting member mounting portion provided in between the leading longitudinal side and the trailing longitudinal side. Three or more substantially parallel cutting members are disposed in the cutting member mounting portion in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. At least one of the three or more cutting members comprises a blade support. The blade support comprises a blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the respective blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane. A blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting members are disposed to define a plurality of inter-blade spans between cutting edges of the blades. The trailing longitudinal side of the housing does not comprise a skin care element.
RAZORS AND RAZOR CARTRIDGES WITH COLORED BLADES
Razors cartridges including a guard, a cap, and at least two blades with parallel sharpened edges located between the guard and cap are provided. The first blade has a first color and a second blade has a second color, where the first color is different than the second color. The blade color corresponds to an attribute of the blade (e.g., low cut force) that the color is disposed on or an attribute of the razor cartridge (e.g., sensitive skin). The color of the blade corresponds to a target user of the razor cartridge (e.g., male or female). The first blade defines a blade edge near or nearest the guard and a second blade defines a blade edge near or nearest the cap.
SELF-MOVABLE BLADE SUPPORTS
A shaving blade member may include a first portion disposed in a first plane, wherein an end of the first portion includes a tapered cutting edge; a second portion extending from the first portion and disposed in a second plane, the second plane being at an angle with the first plane; wherein the second portion comprises one or more protrusions, the one or more protrusions being movable relative to the second portion.
Razor cartridge
A razor cartridge comprising three or more substantially parallel cutting members disposed between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. Each of the cutting members comprises a blade support comprising a blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the respective blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane, and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting members are disposed to define a plurality of inter-blade spans between cutting edges of the blades. A leading inter-blade span that is closer to the leading longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than a trailing inter-blade span is different to the trailing inter-blade span that is closer to the trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than the leading inter-blade span.
RAZOR SYSTEM
A cutting member (1) for a shaving cartridge includes a front side, a back side opposing the front side, and a flat cutting portion (2) with a cutting edge portion (4). Further the cutting member includes a first bent portion (8), an intermediate portion (11), a second bent portion (9) and a base portion (10) that are made out of one single piece of material. The first bent portion is integral with the flat cutting portion. The first bent portion is convex on the back side of the cutting member, and the second bent portion is concave on the back side of the cutting member. The proposed shape of the cutting member resembles an S shape or a question mark shape.
Shaving implement
A shaving implement comprises a cutting portion and an end portion. Further, the cutting portion transitions between a straight configuration and a bent configuration based on an application of an external force on the cutting portion. forming a bend in the cutting portion characterized by a curvature and a direction. Further, transitioning the cutting portion from the configuration to the straight configuration comprises removing the bend. Further, the cutting portion is not transitionable between the straight configuration and the bent configuration without the application of the external force. Further, the cutting portion comprises a blade slot for receiving a blade. Further, the cutting portion curves the blade in a blade shape based on the forming of the bend. Further, the end portion removably holds the cutting portion.
