Cutting assembly including clamping assembly
An assembly includes a punch and a clamping assembly. The punch includes a body having a front end and a rear end. The front end has a cutting edge. A passageway extends through the body and a counterbore is provided proximate to a second end of the body. The clamping assembly includes first and second jaws pivotally attached to each other. Each jaw includes a main body having a nose extending from a front surface thereof. The nose has an outer surface which has a diameter which is smaller than the outer diameter of the main body. When the clamping assembly is mated with the punch, the noses seat within the counterbore, and the front surfaces of the main bodies engage against the rear end of the body of the punch.
Pillar post with adjustable fluid flow
An automated glass scoring device and a pillar post are provided. The pillar post includes a body having a fluid inlet port, at least one internal passage, a fluid exit port, and a fluid flow metering element. At least a portion of the fluid flow metering element is disposed within the internal passage. The at least one internal passage provides a path for a fluid flow from the inlet port to the fluid exit port, and the fluid exit port is positioned such that the fluid flow exiting the fluid exit port exits in close proximity to the cutter wheel.
Eccentric blade housing for rotary knife
A rotary knife includes a frame, an annular blade, and a blade housing mounted to the frame. The housing presents a circumferential mounting surface in contact with the frame. The housing supports the blade on the frame for rotation about a central axis. The housing includes a blade-supporting race defined along a circle centered on the central axis. The mounting surface is defined along a circular arc with a center point spaced from the central axis, such that the blade-supporting race and mounting surface are eccentric relative to one another. The housing presents opposite inner and outer annular faces. At least one of the faces presents a proximal-most end in contact with the frame and a distal-most end spaced from the frame. The proximal-most end is spaced from the central axis a first distance. The distal-most end is spaced from the central axis a second distance. The distances are different.
Handheld meat skinner with pinned hybrid tooth roll
A handheld teeth skinning tool is provided with a head assembly having at toothed roller with interchangeable teeth rings, with the rings having different tooth configurations. The teeth rings are securely mounted on the insert arbor using male and female connections. The teeth rings may include pointed teeth for aggressively gripping the skin for direction into the blade of the head assembly, while square teeth allow for easy manual maneuverability of the head assembly on the meat carcass or head. The roller provides increase life expectancy and improved handling for lower costs and higher productivity.
ACCESSORIES FOR OSCILLATING POWER TOOLS
An accessory for coupling to an oscillating power tool includes a working end portion and an attachment portion. The working end portion defines and extends along a working axis. The attachment portion is coupled to the working end portion and includes a top wall, a bottom wall spaced apart from the top wall, and a peripheral wall extending from the top wall to the bottom wall at least partially around the top wall to form at least a portion of a polygonal shape. A generally U-shaped opening is defined in the top wall, extends along an attachment axis at an angle to the working axis, has a central portion at a center of the attachment portion, and is open to a gap in the peripheral wall. A plurality of radial openings is defined in the top wall and arranged between the U-shaped opening and the peripheral wall. The peripheral wall, the U-shaped opening, and the plurality of radial openings are configured to couple the attachment portion to at least two different configurations of accessory attachment mechanisms on different oscillating power tools.
APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING FLAT OBJECTS
The apparatus for processing flat objects includes a transport system with several rotatably mounted conveyor rollers, the flat objects transportable in the direction of transport, and at least one releasably mounted tool module releasably coupled to only one drive shaft or to a lower and an upper rotatably mounted drive shaft; is supported displaceable along the only one drive shaft or the lower and the upper drive shaft; and is equipped with tool parts for processing the flat objects, of which at least one is drivable by the lower or the upper drive shaft. The tool module is supported by a tool carrier which is displaceable by means of a rotatably mounted setting shaft in parallel to the only one drive shaft and to the lower and the upper drive shafts, and which tool carrier has at least one holding element which serves for releasably holding the tool module.
BLADE CHANGER UNIT
A blade changer unit includes a blade chuck for holding a cutting blade, a moving unit for moving the blade chuck, and a control unit for controlling moving unit. The blade chuck has a plurality of electrically conductive grippers for holding the cutting blade. The controller detects conduction between the grippers and a boss. The control unit includes a calculator for calculating the position of a central axis of the mount from coordinates where the conduction between the holder and the boss is detected when the moving unit is controlled to bring the grippers into contact with the mount at at least three points, and a mounting/dismounting controller for mounting and dismounting the cutting blade while the central axis of the blade chuck is aligned with the central axis of the mount calculated by the calculator.
BLADE HOLDER WITH ADJUSTING SLIDE
A blade holder (1) for a longitudinal cutting machine includes a rotatably mounted blade head (3) for holding a circular blade (4) and at least one locking device (2). At least one actuator actuates an element of the blade holder (1), and a moveably mounted adjusting slide (5) positions the blade head (3) on the longitudinal cutting machine. The adjusting slide (5) for positioning of the blade head (3) is moveable from a starting position to a positioning point. With the blade holder, materials can be cut perfectly with high precision. In particular, materials such as tissue, non-woven materials, paper, OLED film, displays, battery film, lithium batteries, aluminum, copper film, anodes, and cathodes can be cut.
Blade saver
A blade saver 100 may be used as a blade holder to repurpose and safely hold circular blades that have been previously dulled by cutting fabric. Such dulled blades will usually have significant useful life as a thread cutter. But consumer use of a circular blade as a thread cutter requires a safe and efficient blade holder. The disclosed embodiments a base or base assembly 120 that may act as both a container and holder for a blade cover wherein a blade cover or blade cover assembly 143 may comprise a male holder 130 and a female blade holder 140. The male holder 130 may define a plurality of voids 135 that comport to voids 145 defined within the female holder 140, with such voids allowing for the cutting of thread while limiting the blade exposure to the hands of the user.
