The disclosure relates to a towing hitch for a work vehicle. The towing hitch includes a retaining element. A coupling member coupled to the retaining element. A guide element having at least one guide channel formed therein; wherein the guide channel is sized to receive a portion of the retaining element. An actuator coupled to at least one surface of the retaining element, wherein the actuator is arranged such that lateral displacement of the actuator moves the retaining element between a first position and a second position within the guide channel of the guide element.

Enhanced resolution fore/aft leveling of a towable tillage implement

A system, apparatus and method, for enhancing resolution during remotely controlled adjustment of a fore/aft trim angle of a frame of a towable tillage implement, utilize a fore/aft trim angle adjustment arrangement operatively attached between a hitch and the frame of the implement for tilting the frame at a desired trim angle along a fore/aft axis of the frame. An adjustable-length fore/aft trim linkage is operatively connected between the frame and the hitch for adjusting and maintaining the trim angle. A linear actuator is operatively attached to the trim angle linkage for remotely controlling the length of the trim angle adjustment linkage to thereby adjust the trim angle as a function of a stroke of the actuator. The fore/aft trim linkage provides an adjustment in its length that is proportionally less than the stroke of the actuator, to thereby provide enhanced resolution for remote control of the trim angle.

Apparatus, Systems And Methods For Steerable Toolbars

The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a steerable toolbar. The toolbar is able to rotate relative to the tractor or other driving vehicle to reduce misalignment and/or cross-track error. Actuators can be utilized with draft links to pivot the toolbar around a central pivot point and improve the following path of the toolbar implement.

Lift link assembly of a three-point hitch

A lift link assembly of a three-point hitch. The lift link assembly includes a pin, a yoke, and a shaft. The yoke includes a main housing and first and second side arms that extend downwardly therefrom. The shaft includes a shank and a head positioned on a lower-end thereof. The shank is positioned in an upper-end through hole of the main housing, and the head includes an attachment point that receives the pin when the lift link assembly is in certain modes.

Method for increasing the load on driving rear wheels of tractors during soil cultivation

A method for increasing the load on driving rear wheels (KB, KP) of a tractor during soil cultivation with a farm implement (2), attached to a three-point linkage (1) of the tractor. A vertical position of the attached implement (2, 20) is adjusted relative to the tractor by a position of the arms (4) of a lifting device and by adjustment of the length of the upper link (13) of the three-point linkage (1) of the tractor. After adjusting the length of the upper link (13), the axial force acting/induced in the upper link (13) is determined and during travel of the tractor is continuously monitored and automatically maintained at the adjusted value. Also the adjusted vertical position of the implement (2) attached to the tractor is continuously monitored (2) and is automatically maintained at the adjusted value, thereby maintaining the vertical position of the attached implement (3) in this regulation and thus also constant ploughing depth.

One exemplary embodiment is a hitch assembly including forward and rearward lateral members, first and second longitudinal members and a lifting member which are coupled together to form a laterally-articulating pitch-adjustable quadrilateral. The forward lateral member is coupled with the first longitudinal member by a first joint and the second longitudinal member by a second joint. The rearward lateral member is coupled with the first longitudinal member by a third joint and the second longitudinal member by a fourth joint. The lifting member is coupled with the rearward lateral member by a first flexible rigging member and a second flexible rigging member. The quadrilateral can articulate between a left-leaning configuration, a rectangular configuration, and a right-leaning configuration. The lifting member can be adjusted to vary an amount of slack in one or both of the flexible rigging members and to raise and lower the rearward lateral member.

MECHANICALLY DRIVEN AND STEERABLE AGRICULTURAL CART

A steerable cart or trailer is towed by another vehicle. A reverse linkage made up of arms that crisscross one another extends between the tow vehicle and the steerable trailer. The linkage arms are parallel a distance from the tow vehicle before crisscrossing with one another towards the trailer. The linkage arms are rotatable at each end. This allows the arms to rotate in a manner in which the trailer will more closely follow the path of the tow vehicle, especially when the tow vehicle is in the process of turning. The trailer will follow in a manner that reduces compaction and provides a simpler overall operation of equipment.
