MOVEMENT SYSTEM FOR ANY FARMING MACHINERY
A movement system for farming machinery includes a transmission box inserted in the rotation group which, due to the action of a rigid arm, causes a lateral translation movement and, due the action of the rotation group, a rotation movement of the functional head around the center of rotation. The rotation group is positioned with respect to the functional head to translate along the trajectory. The functional head is arranged in a collapsed configuration so the functional head is situated within the overall road size determined by the tractor; and to assume a translated configuration, in which the functional head is situated outside the overall road form of the tractor; the rotation movement allows full rotations of 360 of the functional head due to the coincidence of the center of rotation with the axis of rotation of the transmission box.
CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR MOBILE MACHINERY
An apparatus for connecting an implement to mobile machinery comprises a first frame work, a slidable second frame work, and at least one support member. The support member provides support for the second framework as it slides back and forth along the first frame work.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING SPEED AND DIRECTION OF A LATERAL CONVEYOR OF AN AGRICULTURAL HEADER
An agricultural system includes a header (200) that includes a frame (201) and first and second lateral conveyors coupled to the frame. The first and second lateral conveyors are configured to laterally transport crop material towards a central crop-receiving aperture. The header (200) also includes actuators configured to adjust a speed and a direction of the first and second lateral conveyors. The agricultural system includes a controller (302) configured to receive an input from an input device that causes the controller (302) to automatically link the speed and the direction of the first and second lateral conveyors to a vehicle speed and a vehicle direction of an agricultural vehicle that the header (200) is coupled to. The controller (302) is configured to provide a control signal to the actuators (308,310) that alters the speed and the direction of the first and second lateral conveyors in response to changes in the vehicle speed and the vehicle direction.
Tillage implement
A tillage implement comprising a main frame, a front group of coulter blades carried by the main frame and extending generally laterally, and a rear group of coulter blades carried by the main frame and extending generally laterally. The tillage implement additionally comprises a set of wheels configured to support the main frame and positioned generally between the front and rear groups of coulter blades. The tillage implement additionally comprises a group of harrow assemblies carried by the main frame and positioned rearward of the rear group of coulter blades. The tillage implement additionally comprises a front group of finishing reels carried by the main frame, extending generally laterally, and positioned rearward of the group of harrow assemblies. Furthermore, the tillage implement comprises a rear group of finishing reels carried by the main frame, extending generally laterally, and positioned rearward of the front group of finishing reels.
Skid-Mounted Movable Boom Cradles For An Agricultural Product Sprayer
An apparatus and method are provided for removably mounting an agricultural product sprayer, having at least one foldable boom, on an agricultural product applicator having a chassis adapted for removably receiving the agricultural product sprayer, by attaching the foldable boom to a skid adapted for operative, removable mounting on the applicator chassis. The skid further has a boom cradle adapted for supporting the foldable boom in a folded position when the skid is mounted on the chassis, and when the skid is separated from the chassis of the agricultural applicator. The boom cradle is selectively movable between an inboard and an outboard position of the cradle to facilitate operation of the product applicator, and also to facilitate mounting the sprayer on, and removing the sprayer from the chassis of the applicator.
GROUND-ENGAGING IMPLEMENT WITH LATERAL POSITION ADJUSTMENT
A row frame is coupled to the rear member. A first opener is configured to open the soil; the first opener is supported by or from a first support extending downward from the frame member. A first outlet is configured to dispense or apply a nutrient strip. A laterally movable carrier is associated with the row frame. The carrier supports the first opener and the first outlet. A second outlet can dispense or plant seed, wherein the first outlet and the second outlet have a lateral separation that is dynamically adjustable during the simultaneous application of seed and the nutrient strip.
GROUND-ENGAGING IMPLEMENT WITH LATERAL POSITION ADJUSTMENT
A data processor determines whether a draft force on the implement is unbalanced based on an error between the observed implement angle and a target implement heading exceeding a threshold deviation. The data processor is adapted to generate a control signal to compensate for the imbalance in the draft force by adjusting the first lateral position via the first actuator, or by adjusting the second lateral position via the second actuator, the first actuator and the second actuator being positioned on opposite lateral sides of the implement.
GROUND-ENGAGING IMPLEMENT WITH LATERAL POSITION ADJUSTMENT
A laterally movable carrier is associated with a row frame. The carrier is connected to a frame member, an opener, a first outlet and a second outlet to allow for dynamically variable adjustment of the lateral separation between a first row of planted seed and a second row of planted seed, where the first row of seed is adjacent to the second row of seed.
GROUND-ENGAGING IMPLEMENT WITH LATERAL POSITION ADJUSTMENT
A carrier adjustment assembly for coupling to a frame member of an implement includes a laterally adjustable carrier configured to be coupled to an opener and a first outlet providing at least one nutrient. The assembly further includes a plurality of lateral spacers positioned adjacent to the carrier to laterally adjust the carrier and provide a plurality of adjustment positions. The carrier adjustment assembly facilitates lateral adjustment of the carrier by removal of at least one captively held lateral spacer that sets the lateral adjustment of the carrier, a lateral adjustment of the first outlet, and an adjustment of a lateral separation between a seed row provided by a second outlet and a nutrient row provided by the first outlet.
CARRIER ARM ASSEMBLY
A carrier arm assembly for an operating unit of an agricultural machine includes a carrier arm having a base part and an extending part that is telescopically adjustable relative to the base part to adjust the length of the carrier arm between an unextended configuration and an extended configuration. The base part and the extending part both include a set of bearing surfaces that are configured to enable sliding movement of the extending part relative to the base part. The bearing surfaces of the base part include upper inclined bearing surfaces and lower inclined bearing surfaces, and the bearing surfaces of the extending part include upper inclined bearing surfaces and lower inclined bearing surfaces, which are configured to engage respectively the upper inclined bearing surfaces and the lower inclined bearing surfaces of the base part.
