Rotatable cutting chain work tool, a wall saw arrangement comprising such a work tool, an annular member and a method for producing an annular member
A work tool (100) comprising: a cutting chain (110), a drive mechanism for driving the cutting chain (110), an annular member (120) arranged rotatably supported by one or more support rollers (130,140,150), wherein the annular member comprises a rim (230) adapted to support the cutting chain (110) during cutting, and a support wheel (160) arranged distanced from the annular member (120), wherein the cutting chain (110) is arranged supported on a rim segment (102) of the annular member (110) forming part of a cutting area of the tool (100) and supported on a rim segment (103) of the support wheel (160) in a direction away from the cutting area of the tool (100). An annular member and a method of producing an annular member are also disclosed.
QUICK CHAIN TENSIONING SYSTEM
A quick tensioning system applicable to handheld chainsaws is provided wherein, during chain re-tensioning, the chain guiding bar remains firmly anchored to the bar holder and guiding means are provided to retract the motorized driving sprocket versus said guiding bar. The system includes a guide interposed between a stationary bar holding body and a motor body. This allows a linear or a rotation relative movement between the sliding driving sprocket and the stationary guiding bar. A drive is provided by means of a screw that an operator can easily operate via a knob conveniently mounted nearby the chainsaw handle.
HIGH STABILITY SAW CHAIN
Embodiments herein provide a high stability saw chain comprising a first drive link including a first mating surface; a second drive link including a second mating surface; a first tie strap coupling the first drive link to the second drive link; wherein the first mating surface of the first drive link is configured to contact the second mating surface of the second drive link when the first and second drive links traverse an elongate portion of a guide bar to prevent reverse articulation of the saw chain less than a minimum radius of 20 inches.
THIN CUTTING DIAMOND CHAIN SAW AND A CORRESPONDING BAR
This invention relates to a thin cutting diamond chain saw and a guide bar corresponding to the thickness of the chain, adapting the guide bar with a new Nose Roller (guide bar edge) to dedicated wall cutting machines.
DRILLING AND CUTTING DEVICE
A drilling and cutting device for both drilling and cutting through large objects is provided. The drilling and cutting device provides a plurality of cutting elements spaced apart and connected along a cutting chain that is operatively connected to a driven gear. The cutting chain is mounted along a periphery of a guide bar adapted to force the cutting chain to move on a certain path laterally, longitudinally or rotatably when selectively engaged to a mounting assembly.
Abrasive saw chain
Embodiments herein provide an abrasive saw chain that includes drive links and tie straps coupled to one another. Cutting elements, such as diamond cutting elements, may be coupled to upper surfaces of respective drive links. An upper surface of the tie strap may contact a lower surface of a cutting element to provide support for the cutting element. The tie strap may include a limiting feature to contact front and/or back surfaces of adjacent cutting elements when the links traverse an elongate portion of a guide bar. Alternatively, or additionally, the drive links may include a mating surface that contacts a mating surface of an adjacent drive link when the drive links traverse the elongate portion of the guide bar. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Battery lock mechanism for a battery compartment and an electrically powered hand-held work tool comprising such a battery lock mechanism
A battery compartment battery lock mechanism (700) comprising a locking member (710) rotatably supported on a shaft (720) and comprising a leading edge portion (750) arranged to enter a recess (760) formed in a battery (220) to lock the battery in position, The leading edge portion (750) has an arcuate form with a curvature corresponding to that of a circle segment with radius corresponding to the distance from the leading edge portion (750) to the center of the shaft (720) The recess (760) formed in the battery (220) comprises a surface (770) arranged to engage the leading edge portion (750), wherein the surface (770) has an arcuate form to match that of the leading edge portion (750). The invention further comprises an electrically powered hand-held work tool comprising such a battery lock mechanism.
PORTABLE TRENCHING DEVICE
A trenching device rotating a trenching chain through a substrate to form a trench. The trenching device including a power unit, a drive unit including a belt drive system, and a trenching unit including a trenching chain and configured to rotate the trenching chain about a trenching bar.
CONTOURED CUTTING SEGMENT FOR A CHAINSAW CHAIN
A saw chain includes a first tie strap, a first drive link coupled to the first tie strap, a second tie strap coupled to the first drive link, a second drive link coupled to the second tie strap, a third tie strap coupled to the second drive link, a first contoured cutting segment coupled to the first tie strap and having a first asymmetric profile, and a second contoured cutting segment coupled to the third tie strap and having a second asymmetric profile. The first contoured cutting segment and the second contoured cutting segment are oriented such that the first asymmetric profile is symmetric with the second asymmetric profile across the second drive link.
