PROCESSES FOR RECYCLING CARPET AND PRODUCTS OF SUCH PROCESSES
Methods for the recycling of carpet are disclosed that produce clean face fiber suitable for industrial use. The methods allow the recovery of face fiber material, for example a polyester or a polyamide, from carpets that includes a face fiber material and a backing material, and include the steps of heating the carpet to a temperature lower than the melting point of the face fiber material, but higher than the initial thermal decomposition temperature of the backing material, for a time and at a temperature sufficient to thermally decompose, pyrolyze, or oxidize at least a portion of the backing material, rendering the backing material friable, that is more friable than the untreated backing; and applying mechanical force to the carpet so as to liberate the friable backing material from the face fiber material.
Process for Separating Materials
A process for separating a mixture of materials using a segregation media within a vessel having a central baffle structure which shuggles the mixture by oscillating the baffle structure at a frequency and amplitude. The mixture of materials may have overlapping densities with the segregation media having a density within the overlapping region. Polymers PE and PP may be separated in flake form. For a mixture of materials of differing densities, water may be the segregation media. Shuggling is combined with controlling the flow of water through the vessel at a set velocity. Embodiments are described for separating plastics and mineral ore.
Removing Device for Removing a Junction Box From A Solar Cell Module
A removing device for removing a junction box from a solar cell module includes a carriage mechanism and a removing mechanism mounted on a frame mechanism. The removing mechanism includes a seat regulating module, an aligning and holding seat module and a removing seat which is moved by the seat regulating module toward a back plate of a solar panel unit, and a removing driving module which drives movement of the removing seat toward the junction box along the back plate of the solar panel unit so as to move a cutting edge of the removing sear into a juncture between the junction box and the back plate and remove the junction box. An automatic removing process is performed, and damage to the solar panel unit is prevented.
PROCESS FOR RECOVERY OF COMPONENT MATERIALS FROM COMPOSITE PRODUCTS COMPRISING UNCURED RUBBER AND REINFORCEMENT MATERIAL
The disclosure provides a process for the recovery of component materials from composite products, the process including: a) providing a composite product that comprises a plurality of component materials, the component materials including uncured rubber and reinforcement material selected from fabric and/or metal; b) preparing one or more standardised sheets of composite product, wherein each standardised sheet has a maximum thickness of 125 mm or less; and c) jetting pressurised water onto one or more surface of the standardised sheets, whereby the water is at a pressure of up to 500 bar, thereby stripping the uncured rubber from the reinforcement material and resulting in a mixture of uncured rubber fabric and reinforcement material.

The invention shows an apparatus for recycling bituminous material bodies by melting, in particular for recycling bituminous composite material bodies comprising a composite material and a bituminous material, in particular roofing materials, in particular in the form of bituminous covering layers of roofing sheets, the apparatus including: a vessel having a vessel wall surrounding an interior space of the vessel extending along a vertical axis of the vessel for receiving the bituminous material bodies, a bottom plate and a compression plate extending transverse to the vertical axis wherein at least the compression plate has a number of through flow orifices adapted to allow a through flow of molten bituminous material, wherein the plates are movable along the vertical axis such that in a first operating state the compression plate is in a middle position for forming a melting space of larger size between the compression plate and the bottom plate for melting bituminous material in the melting space wherein the bottom plate is in a melting position, in a second operating state the compression plate is in a lower position for forming a compression space of minor size between the compression plate and the bottom plate for compressing solid residues and/or solid composite material in the compression space, and wherein
molten bituminous material is retained in a storing space above the compression plate for storing and/or discharging bituminous material, wherein the bottom plate is in a compression position, wherein the compression plate is movable from the middle position to the lower position.

Method and Apparatus for Recylcing Laminated Glass
A method for recycling of glass laminates (10) is disclosed. The glass laminates (10) comprise at least one glass layer (30, 40) and at least one polymer layer (20). The method comprises mechanical removal of at least part of the glass (30, 40), placing residual waste (350) with glass particles in a vat (360) comprising a separation fluid (375) to produce a mixture of glass particles and polymer pieces from the residual waste, from which the polymer pieces can be screened off, washed and dried for reuse. The separation fluid (375) comprises water and at least one alcohol.
Method for Processing Packaging Material
The subject of the present invention is a method for processing metallized packaging materials, especially beverage cartons, or blister packaging.
According to the invention, the aluminum is dissolved with the aid of acid and separated from the plastic. The metal-containing acid solution then undergoes pyrohydrolytic treatment and the acid is thus recovered. The aluminum can be recovered as valuable aluminum oxide.

The installation (1) is characterised in that the means (3) for heating and reducing size comprise at least one heated screw mixer, the crushing means comprise at least one roll crusher (4, 4) comprising two rolling rollers (7 and 7) that are heated and set into rotation in opposite directions, the separating means (5, 6) comprise at least one macroscopic separating means (5) in the form of a device for discharging macroscopic polluting particles present in the output (3), and the separating means (5, 6) also comprise at least one microscopic separating means (6).
Method and device for recycling plastics
Techniques recycle plastics in multiple successive process steps. A polymer, preferably a recyclable material, is melted using a discharge extruder, filtered using a first filter device under a positive pressure atmosphere, filtered and degassed using a degassing device, and discharged using a discharge extruder. The degassing device has at least one filter element and a vacuum chamber with a negative pressure atmosphere for filtering and degassing purposes, wherein the plastic melt can be conducted into the negative pressure atmosphere of the vacuum chamber through the filter element.
