PROCESS FOR RECYCLING LAMINATED POLYMER PACKAGING USING ETHYLENE GLYCOL
“PROCESS FOR RECYCLING LAMINATED POLYMER PACKAGING USING ETHYLENE GLYCOL” applied in polymeric packaging containing one or more materials from a group formed by PP, PE, PET and aluminum; said process being comprising performing the selective dissolution of PET, reusing it as a product of its reaction with glycol, as well as separating aluminum in its metallic form and PP and PE as a supernatant portion in said product.
Process for the production of an additive for bituminous conglomerates with high mechanical performances
The present invention refers to a process for the production of an additive composition intended to be mixed into a bituminous conglomerate for road paving. The process includes grinding a mixed waste material containing a mixture of plastic materials, which includes at least one plastic material based on a polyolefin thermoplastic material, washing the ground mixed waste material and separating a portion of low-density material which contains the plastic material based on a polyolefin thermoplastic polymer from the mixed waste material. This portion of low-density material is then ground to a particle size between 10 mm and 20 mm; and then mixed with a material based on polyvinyl butyral. The resultant mixture is further ground to produce an additive composition having a particle size between 4 mm and 6 mm.
SYNTHETIC RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE USING PLASTIC WASTE
The present invention provides a synthetic resin molded product reusing plastic waste including a plurality of kinds of plastics mixed therein (such as ocean plastic trash, and hardly classifiable plastic trash in industrial waste or general waste) as raw materials, and having a high sense of design, and provides a manufacturing method thereof. The molded product is characterized by being molded with a powder of plastic waste including a plurality of kinds of plastics mixed therein, and a powder of a second material (such as a woodchip) not molten under a temperature condition of 200° C. as raw materials, and is characterized in that a large number of spots 33 different in color and/or glossiness from a base color of the molded product (deck material 31) are scattered at random on a surface of the molded product, and in that a stipple pattern is formed on the surface of the molded product.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RECYCLING POLYOLEFINS
Embodiments relate a method for processing recyclable polymer material. The method may include grinding the recyclable polymer material to produce polymer flake material, washing the polymer flake material, removing contaminants from the polymer flake material with a flake sorter, and removing lightweight materials from the polymer flake material with an elutriator. The method may also include extruding the polymer flake material with a virgin to form an extruded polymer blend, degassing the extruded polymer blend, filtering the extruded polymer blend, and pelletizing the polymer blend. The method may also include passing the polymer blend through a silo with a homogenizer system equipped with hot air insufflation.
PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PARTICLE BOARD OR WOOD FIBER BOARD
A process for the production of particle board, MDF board or HDF board includes the step of recycling particle board material, MDF and/or HDF board material in which recycled chips and/or recycled wood fibers are produced. The process includes the step in which the particle board material, the MDF and/or HDF board material is wetted, heated and pressurized, such that this material is kept under pressure and at an elevated temperature for a certain time. The process involves the step of supplying the recycled chips and/or the recycled wood fibers as base material in a production process of particle board, MDF board or HDF board.
SLURRY PROCESSING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS
Described is a macerator and process for using the macerator to reduce the particle size of a particulate containing slurry that is introduced to the macerator. The macerator comprises a housing that defines a chamber an inlet and an outlet, the inlet configured to receive a flow of slurry, two or more elongate concentric bodies located within the chamber to define a gap between the surface of the outer body and the inner surface of the housing, the bodies having a first end and a second end, at least one of the bodies rotatable about an axis, and each body comprising a plurality of apertures to define a flow path through each body, from the housing inlet to the housing outlet, a baffle or baffles that extend substantially the width of the gap from the first end to the second end of the bodies to define a first portion that contains the inlet, and a second portion that contains the outlet, and wherein the baffle or baffles substantially inhibit passage of slurry between the two portions via the gap such that the slurry is directed through the body apertures, a motor to drive the rotating body or bodies, one or more injectors that inject liquid into the gap, wherein at least one of the injectors is located in the first portion. The particle size of the outlet slurry is less than the particle size of the inlet slurry.
Multistage thermolysis method for safe and efficient conversion of carpet/rug, polymeric materials and other waste sources
