METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A BLADE FOR AN AIRCRAFT TURBINE ENGINE
A method for producing a blade includes providing a fibrous preform; providing a metal foil of elongate shape and including at least one indexing recess; and providing an injection mold having at least an upper part and a lower part. At least one of the upper part and the lower part includes at least one positioning projection. The method further includes the steps of arranging the fibrous preform in the injection mold; coating the leading edge of the fibrous preform with the metal foil, and inserting the positioning projection into the indexing recess so as to hold the metal foil in position on the leading edge. The method also further includes injecting a resin into the injection mold.
Methods and apparatus for fabricating leads with conductors and related flexible lead configurations
MRI/RF compatible leads include at least one conductor, a respective conductor having at least one segment with a multi-layer stacked coil configuration. The lead can be configured so that the lead heats local tissue less than about 10 degrees Celsius (typically about 5 degrees Celsius or less) or does not heat local tissue when a patient is exposed to target RF frequencies at a peak input SAR of at least about 4 W/kg and/or a whole body average SAR of at least about 2 W/kg. A device for the automatic fitting of vehicle registration plates with data carriers. A plurality of work stations interlinked by at least one conveyor are provided for this purpose. The work stations are equipped with handling devices and associated imaging devices. As a result, a respective data carrier can be automatically gripped and placed in its precise position in the opening and prefixed there. The data carriers are then each cast automatically in the opening for the permanent fixation of the data carrier in the opening of the registration plate.
